Health / Re: Why Do Hospitals Sells Blood They Collect Free From Donations? by Emmy1379: 4:44pm On May 19, 2018 |
You pay for the screening, and not the blood. Most public hospitals blood bank have pints of blood at almost every time. But for a patient to be transfused, most hospitals require that someone must replace the blood otherwise, the blood bank would be empty. However, in the case of an emergency, one can 'loan' a Maximum number of pints of blood to be replaced later but a relative must append his signature Blood donation is free but some hospitals encourage people to donate by giving them some cash. This ensures blood is present at all time in the hospital. Remember not all blood loan taken would eventually be paid back. Blood is very important and scarce in every hospital: you can only obtain it from humans hence the need to use every legal and ethical means to keep the blood bank stocked at every time. 1 Like |

bozzyjoan: The ten commandments and all other commandments from the Genesis to Malachi don't interest you because they are of no importance anymore. but "pay tithe" as a "commandment" in Malachi is where your interest lie. That is the commandment that if you don't obey, you will go to hell. People like you is why pastorprenure is a lucrative business in Nigeria 2 Likes 1 Share |

bozzyjoan: How much of this emphasis do you lay on other sins? You miss tithe, you have sinned as stated in Malachi that you quoted.and will go to hell. Be honest with yourself, how many of the many instructions of God from Genesis to Malachi have you been honest about?Yes,you have pass mark in tithe. What about others? Maybe we should start from the 10commadments, then we move to the many other instructions in the first five books. Do you now know where you are heading to despite the payment of your tithe and based on your judgement about where non tithe payers are going? I am amazed by Nigerians version of Christianity? 1 Like |

eagleonearth: Thank you very much pastor on your strong emphasis on "robbing God" by not paying tithe and hence, considering it as sin. But permit me to ask, do you honestly lay emphasis on fornication, theft, lying, embezzlement of public funds, malice, hatred, evil thoughts and speech against others etc as sin against God and that people who practice them will not enter heaven or, all you do is to spend 2hours of your sermon talking about tithe and how non payment makes one a sinner and at the end, you simply tell your congregation "if you know you haven't given your life to Christ, come out as l count from 1 to10"? Or perhaps others don't matter as long as you pay tithe 4 Likes |

Education / Re: Mbbs In Unilag, Or Mbbs In Ui by Emmy1379: 8:29am On Jan 23, 2018 |
OboOlora: MBBS in covenant? Lol. To the op, apart from consideration of chances of admission, the two most important factor to consider in choosing a university for MBBS in Nigeria include the stability of the academic calendar, and Mdcn(most important)and Nuc accreditation status in the past, present and the projected future accreditation status. Ui and Unilag have no significant issues in this regard. Training for MBBS in most Nigerian universities is almost the same especially in the clinical sciences. You are all expected to learn almost similar things. Even your lecturers (in clinical sciences which is 400 to 600 level depending on the school) are consultants/specialist which are all trained and awarded their post graduate degree under the same post graduate college (either national post graduate college or west Africa post graduate college or both) except for those that did theirs outside Nigeria. So, they are likely to give you almost similar training. In addition, you aren't going to be examined by your lecturers alone during your exams as lecturers would be invited from other universities. My take is that,if you want to choose between ui and Unilag for MBBS,pick any one of the two you think you have the highest chances of obtaining admission. As for private universities, covenant university doesn't have MBBS. most private universities that offer it have accreditation issues; some may have it today only to lose it in few years' time. Nuc accreditation isn't enough to offer MBBS.mdcn accreditation criteria is tougher and the consequences of losing it is worse than that of Nuc. Wish you all the best 9 Likes |
