A man has died after taking nine bottles of locallocally brewed alcoholic drink popularly known as "Ogogoro" in Plateau State.

The incident happened in Bokkos local government area of Plateau State.

It was gathered that the deceased, an indigene of Bokkos asked that the seller of the gin gives him 11 bottles after boasting he would finishit and nothing will happen.

Speaking with The Nation, Hafsat Abubakar of the Conflict Mediation Mitigation Regional Council (CMMRC) said the man succeeded in drinking nine but was unable to finish the remaining two bottles.

Subsequently, the man died after the intake of the gin and the seller immediately took to her heels.

It was learnt that the man was vomiting blood profusely from his nose, ears and mouth before he gave up the ghost.

A hunter identified as Abubakar said he was passing by when he saw the deceased and decided to alert the villagers.

The deceased has been taken for burial. He left behind a wife and five children.

Some Nigerian military paratroopers went airborne today at the Federal Capital Territory , Abuja.

The paratroopers were spotted carrying out a what looks like a training exercise.

Some section of the road were blocked by security operatives to enable the paratroopers land with their parachute.

A young widow has shared a video clip of the treatment she was subjected to by her kinsmen after she lost her husband.

According to her, she lost her husband at the age of 23.

The mother of two in a short video clip show community women shaving her head with blade.

She also alleged that her husband's family took everything from her, leaving her to take care of her kids alone.

she wrote:

"I married at 19, had my first child at 20, second child at 21, became a widow at 23. They collected everything from me. The worst part is they don't ask of the kids."

Man Arrested With Money Stolen From Church Offering Box (Photos)

A man identified as Opeyemi Olufemi has been arrested for stealing money from a church offering box in Osun State.

The suspect was said to be riding a motorcycle with a school bag fill the notes when some policemen intercepted him along Igbara Odo /Akure Road.

Upon being search, different denominations of Naira notes amounting to N620,115 and papers with prayer request was found in the bag.

The suspect confessed to have stolen the money from a church offering vault at CAC church Ikeji, Arakeji in Osun State.

A disturbing video showing the moment a woman beat a child with slippers has surfaced online and sparked outrage.

In a video of about 25 seconds captured by a neighbour, the woman was seen beating a child with slippers while trying to bath him.

She repeatedly beat the child with no mercy what so ever. Although, it is no comfirmed if she is the biological mother of the child.

Her action has since sparked outrage from Nigerians who has called for her arrest and prosecution.

Alleged Yahoo Girl Caught After Hiding Used Condom Inside Her Private Part (Graphics)

A young girl alleged to be a yahoo girl got the beating of her life after she was allegedly caught with a used condom inside her private part.

The video shared with HGS Media Plus by an anonymous source revealed a condom being pulled out of the girl's private area by some boys alleged to be friends with the person who used the condom.

It is unclear if the girl is a hooker or a prostitute.

A woman got more than what she bargained for after a monkey gragged her phone and smashed it on the ground.

The woman who went visiting a zoo in Burundi was sitting down close to the monkey's cage when it suddenly gragged her phone through the iron bars and started jumping around with it.

The monkey refused to give her back the phone until the zoo security finally intervened but the phone was already damaged.

A notorious bandit kingpin with the name Adamu Alero has been conferred with the traditional title of Sarki Fulani Yandoto by the Emir of Yandoto in Zamfara State, Alhaji Garba Marafa.

The ceremony was held on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

The 45-year-old terrorists leader was said to have led the attack in Tsafe and Gusau communities in Zamfara and Faskari and Kankara in Katsina State.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the decison to make the bandit leader a chief was because of the role he played during a recent peace talk that was arranged between the emirate and the bandits terrorising the Tsafe local government area.

It was said that the banditry kingpin was in forefort of the peace talk with the two emirates of Yandoto and Tsafe.

Alero was born in Yankuzo village under Tsafe Local Government Area but grew up in the main town.

The Eggon paramount ruler of Nasarawa State, Bala Angbazo is dead.

The Dangaladima Eggon, James Angbazo announced his passing on Wednesday, July 13.

The Aren Eggon died at the age if 89 and was said to have battle a longtime illness before his demise.

Bala Angbazo was born in in the year 1933 in Wakama District, Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

He was installed on July 11, 1981 and have been on the throne for 41 years before his death.

At least twelve passengers has been rescued from a commercial bus with registration number BDG 963BT that they boarded after it fell into canal.

The incident happened on Sunday evening, July 10 at Cement busstop on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

An eyewitness who blamed the driver for the accident said it was due to his reckless driving.

The victims, seven male and five females sustained injuries and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

The permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu who comfirmed the incident said the driver also sustained minor injuries and was attended to at the scene by the paramedics team.

He added that the Agency's Hiab is being dispatched for the recovery of the commercial bus from the canal.

A woman on a tourist trip got the shocking surprise of her life after an orangutan ape got intimate with her at a zoo in Bangkok.

The woman who visited Safari world quickly posed to take a photo with the ape when it suddenly copped a feel of her boobs and then kissed her on her cheek.

A househelp has be left with injuries after she was allegedly burnt by her boss for spoiling his children's bicycle.

The househelp who accused her male boss of inflicting injuries on her identified them as Uzoma and Njideka.

According to her, they live at World Bank in Imo state.

She further revealed that she has been living with the couple for two years.

A three storey building collapsed at the popular Bende Street in old Port Harcourt township, Rivers State.

The building collapsed at about 2:00am on Wednesday morning, June 29.

It was gathered that the building has been in a deplorable state for the past four years after been constructed seven years ago.

According to report, no life were lost as there were no occupants when the building collapsed.

The building was said to be one of the oldest building in Port Harcourt which is also know as colonial building.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Iringe Grace Koko, who confirmed the incident, said there was no occupant in the building before it collapsed.

Meanwhile, officials of the Ministry of Urban Development and Physical Planning are currently working with the owners of the property to pull it down completely to forestall any further disaster.

At least three person have reportedly been comfirmed dead in a multiple fatal accident that occurred in the ealy hours of today, June 29.

The incident happened at new kara market inbound Lagos Ibadan expressway.

A yet to be identified policeman and an okada rider has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Effurun, Delta State.

The incident happened on Sunday, June 5 at Uti Junction in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.

It was gathered that the gunmen made away with an AK-47 rifle belonging to the policeman and a motorcycle belonging to the okada rider.

Comfirming the incident, spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, said one rifle was carted away.

A woman has been left with swollen face and injures after being allegedly brutalised by her husband in Sapele, Delta State.

The man identified as Gbubemi from one Dabio family was said to have been maltreating his wife since they got married.

The lifeless body of one Goodnews Okrinya was found in a bush at Bakery axis in Imiringi community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

HGS Media Plus report that the deceased was macheted to death on Sunday, May 29 along Imiringi/Emeyal road in Bayelsa.

The deceased popularly know as J-Martins was brutally murdered by unknown assailants and his motorcycle stolen.

It was learnt that the lifeless body was found on Monday morning with deep cuts on the neck that almost decapitated the head.

Comfirming the incident, the council chairman, Chief Ebinyo Marvin Turner, described the killing as barbaric.

He called on the security agencies to rise up to investigate the murder and also assured that those behind the brutal act will be brought to justice.

A Ghanaian police officer was seen in a viral video slapping a man for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

It was gathered that the police officer caught the man assaulting his girlfriend.

As seen in the video obtained by HGS Media Plus, the policeman is seem questioning the man for assaulting his girlfriend.

The next minutes, the police officer is slapping the man with both hands. Another man had to step in to hold the policeman from further assaulting the man.

However, the man pleaded and promise not to lay his hand on his girlfriend again.

A suspected battery thief was on Saturday, May 21 beaten by angry residents after allegedly being caught stealing a car battery in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The suspect was said to have stole a car battery from a Toyota Camry car that was parked opposite Challenge area of Ilorin.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the suspect tried running away after stealing the battery but was unfortunately caught by residents and beaten mercilessly.
