A suspected armed robbers who disguise himself like a Fulani herdsman was caught and arrested by Ogun State police command.
The suspect identified as Biodun Rasheed was arrested on Wednesday, November 24, at about 3:30 am at mile 6 along Ajebo road Abeokuta, HGS Media Plus gathered.
The suspect and his gang was said to be robbing the area when patrol team mobilized by the DPO Kemta division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday joined with vigilante group of Nigeria moved to the scene. On sighting the security men, the suspects escaped but Biodun Rasheed who dressed like a Fulani herdsman was apprehended.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect is currently helping the police in their efforts to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.

A twitter user, Akin Akinwale is of the opinion that if President Muhammadu Buhari posts his account number online, he won't receive a dime from Nigerians.

Reacting to the post, APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe said President Buhari will never put his account details online, but added that if he was to do so like Davido did, he will get 1 Billion Naira in one minute.
"Put on you thinking cap sir, President Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria does not do Davido's style but let's just do it and he will net one billion in one minute. Omo de lo shie", he wrote.

A mother of four identified as and her two-year-old child have allegedly been murdered by unknown assailants, HGS Media Plus gathered.
The deceased identified as Mrs. Glory Ogbewi and her child was murdered at Ime-obi in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to a report, the deceased was filtering cassava in the kitchen between 2 to 3 pm on November 4, when the assailants invaded her house.
She was said to have carried her two years old child at her back when her attackers hit her with a pestle and consequently, the child hit his head on a hard object when she fell and both died in the process.
It was also reported that the deceased may have identify her assailants, hence the reason they killed her to prevent her from exposing them.
Some residents described the incident as barbaric, and prayed for the hands of the law to catch up with those involved in the act.
A suspected armed robber has been arrested by Operatives of the Delta State Police Command, HGS Media Plus reports.
The suspect identified as Ovie Maxwell, age 25 was arrested on Monday by operatives from the Ekpan Divisional Police Station following a tip-off that a young man was being robbed by a gang of two suspected armed robbers while on the way to work with his brother.
The suspects were said to have engaged the police in a gun duel along NPA express way by Niger Cat Ekpan, one of the suspected robbers escaped while the other suspect, Ovie Maxwell was arrested and a locally made gun with two live cartridges were recovered from him.
Confirming the arrest, spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, said a manhunt has being carried out for the fleeing suspect.
Two traffic robbers has been arrested by the Rapid Response Square of the Lagos State police command. HGS Media Plus reports.
The suspects identified as Ojo Saheed, age 21 and Khalid Oluwole, age 28 were arrested on Friday night, November 12 were arrested along the iyana Oworo to Old Toll Gate, Ketu stretch of Lagos, Ibadan Expressway.
The suspects were in the company of some hoodlums who immediately fled the scene on sighting the police.
The suspects were said to have been combing hideouts believed to have been used by traffic robbers before attacking motorists.
The suspects however claimed they were taking Indian hemp and ICE in order to stay awake through the night.
Recovered from the suspects were wraps of Indian hemp and crystal methamphetamine (ice).

Three children have reportedly died after eating noodles in South Africa. HGS Media Plus learnt.
The incident happened on Sunday, November 7 in Motherwell, the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
The children Sinothando Ngwendu age11, Olwam Ngwendu age 7, and a four-month-old baby boy, Athenkosi Ngwendu were said to have left their grandparents home to visit a family member in New Brighton.
According to report, the oldest of the children went to a shop to buy some packet of noodles which they prepared and ate.
It was said that the children later complained of stomach cramps after they had returned back home in Motherwell
The grandmother however gave them some water to drink, but the condition escalated and consequently they were rushed to the hospital.
Unfortunately, all three of them died before doctors could help them.
Relatives are awaiting for post-mortem results to establish what caused the death of the children.

HGS Media Plus can report that a 16-year-old girl identified as Abigail has been stabbed on her private part by her neighbor.
The incident happened at Ugboroke area of Delta State where the victim and her aunt, Mrs Blessing lives.
It was gathered that the neighbor used a scissor to stab the victim on her private part over a dream she had about the victim and her husband having a sexual relationship.
To torture her the more, she locked the victim inside her house as she bled till the following morning. Coming out the next morning, neighbors got suspicious and asked the victim what happened to her after seeing blood dripping from her private part.
The victim narrated the whole story and afterwards fainted. She was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the suspect who was handed over to the community youths, when asked the reason for her action, she said because she dreamt that the victim and her husband were having sexual relationship, adding that her dreams do come to pass.
However, the community youths judged the case in favor of the suspect due to the fact that her husband is a chief in the community.
A hit-and-run driver has crushed to death a female student of Egba Odeda Secondary School in Ogun State. HGS Media Plus Report.
The incident was said to have happened on Thursday, October 28 at about 2:45pm in Beni village, Oko Oloshi, along the Abeokuta-Ibadan expressway in Odeda Local Government Area of the State.
According to report, the deceased and other students while returning from school were about to cross the road when she hit by the unknown driver. The driver was said to have drove off immediately after hitting the deceased.
Consequently, the deceased died on the spot. She has however been deposited at the morgue of the Ogun State General Hospital in Odeda.
The spokesperson of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi,confirmed the incident.
"Policeman Stole My Laptop And The Receipt" - Man Cries Out.
A young man has cried out on social media narrating how a policeman stole his laptop and the receipt at a checkpoint.
Sharing the story, the man said that the policeman collected his laptop along Bori road because he was not have the receipt, he then said that he left the laptop with the policeman and went back home to get the receipt only for him to come back to the same spot where the officer had seized his laptop to find out that him and his colleagues were getting ready to leave.
He however showed the policeman the receipt of the laptop and requested for his laptop, but the policeman drove off with his colleagues without giving him back his laptop and the receipt.
"This policeman collected my laptop today along the road going to Bori and demanded for the receipt of which i told him i don't have the receipt with me there. He said he will not give me back the laptop until i bring the receipt, i went back home and got the receipt. When i got to the spot, they were already on the move to leave. I showed him the receipt and requested that he give me my laptop."

One 37-years-old Abdulkareem Muhammed has been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command with 32 litres of petrol in 3 polythene bags which was hidden inside a travelling bag. HGS Media Plus report.
The suspect was said to have been arrested along Katsina-jibiya road by some patrol officers and was paraded at the Command Headquarters on Tuesday.
According to report, some officers had sighted the suspect from a distance with the thought that he was a regular man travelling with clothes, only for them to discover that there was petrol in 3 polythene bags approximately 32 litres.
Upon realizing that he has be caught, the suspects denied being the owner of the products, adding that it was meant for bandits but wanted to resale them in his village.
He later pleaded for mercy and promised to stop if let off the hook.

Some painters almost lost their lives by electric after they were electrocuted by a high tension wire that pass through a church they went to paint in Ekpan Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to report, the church (Redeemed Christian Church Of God) messiah parish contacted the painters to come paint the church during a renovation. It was gathered that the painters had almost completed their job and was carrying an aluminum ladder to paint the last part of the church when the incident happened.
The ladder mistakenly touched a high tension wire that passed through the church and they were all electrocuted in the process and pushed to the wall. some part of their bodies were said to have be burned.
It took the quick invention of a good Samaritan who witnessed the incident and quickly rushed them to the nearby clinic for immediate treatment.

Pastor Almost Lynched After Being Accused Of Stealing A Phone (Graphic video)
A yet to be identified Pastor escaped being lynched by mob today after he was accused of stealing a phone.
The incident was said to have happened at 11am on Monday morning, October 18, around NNPC Mega station along Otukpo Road, Makurdi, Benue State.
In a video shared by LIB, the pastor is seen being beaten to pulp by mob as he bleeds from his face. According to report, eyewitnesses who accused the Pastor of stealing the phone did not have enough evidence to back up their accusation.
Nevertheless, they accused him anyway and expressed their disappointment and how wrong it is for him to be involved in such an act as a Pastor.
Residents could also be heard complaining of how they are being constantly robbed in the area and how they are unable to sleep at night due to fear of being robbed.
An armed robber was beaten to pulp while trying to rob an Okada man in Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon on Ovade road, Oghara, in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the State.
According to report, the youth chairman of Ovade community and his excos received a distress call that there was a group of armed men robbing on Ovade road and an Okada man was the victim.
Upon getting to the robbery scene, one of the robbers shot the Okada man who fortunately did not die because the bullets did not penetrate him.

Three brothers has been arrested by detectives of the Anti-kidnapping unit in Ughelli, Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.
The three suspects identified as Godspower Okara, Mathew Okpara and Godwin Okpara were arrested in their hideout while sharing the money they got from the kidnapping.
According to source, the suspects kidnapped the victim, a wife to a soldier, and took her to a thick forest in Ughelli where they contacted the mother of the victim.
It was learnt that the soldier, husband to the victim planned the kidnap of his wife so as to get money from his mother-in-law.

A teenage girl has been caught while stealing clothes that was hanged on ropes by residents in Sapele, Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.
The teenage girl was caught on Sunday Morning around 10am by a church, 'Redeem' after Hon. Eugene house, off comprehensive road in Amukpe, Sapele.

An okada rider has collided with a tricycle while he was riding and sleeping on his bike at New Road by Old ministry in Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.

HGS Media Plus learnt that the man who was carrying a female passenger fell asleep while riding his bike and as a result had an accident.

The children of late Mrs Patience Eradavitite Omughoro, 58 has been left speechless after the body of their late mother allegedly disappeared from the mortuary. HGS Media Plus reports.
It was said that the body was nowhere to be found after the children arrived at the mortuary located at Oghara to recover it for the burial.
HGS Media Plus learnt that the children rejected the corpse given to them by the attendants claiming that it was not the body of their late Mother.
However, the mortuary attendants insisted that the corpse belonged to their late mother and that the reason they can't recognize her is because they haven't been checking up on the corpse.
Consequently, the police was invited to arrest the mortuary attendants in a bit to explain how the body got missing and to provide it.
