From the beginning I knew that the woman was only looking for trouble cos to me buying a used phone and discovering that it's not charging and you wanted to change it to a YouTube enabled One and yet you couldn't take few minutes to verify if the phone is YouTube enabled when you went to collect another one.
Now this matter has escalated to this level.
And I don't even understand why those who tagged the man as a scammer can't modify their post and let the whole matter die down.
What would you gain if this matter keeps dragging on.

The truth is if this case should escalate more than this, poopypants will have to go in for it. Even the buyer has said she never called the seller a scammer, but the poopypant of a guy was the one who posted the man's details online tagging him a scammer.
That is where the case is now.

Why is this thing hard to understand. It's a used phone for crying out loud and the only problem is that the android version can't stream YouTube. Now she made the selection herself.
How can I go and buy a used phone, the first one was changed cos it had a charging port issues. Then I tell seller I need something that can stream YouTube. Then I meet seller and I chose 2 from the 3 seller brought and I couldn't take my time to check if what he brought can stream YouTube?? Only to go home and start complaining again. Haba na. If he gave you the phone and you requested a phone that can stream YouTube, why not check to confirm if it actually does before making payment since it was a physical meeting.

The man is not in any way a scammer. You bought something from him and he gave you what he was selling. If he had not given you any phone or gave you a non functional phone that is when he will be a scammer.
You bought a used phone from him and you selected the phone yourself according to his own account and I didn't see you deny that.
Since the phone was on when you were selecting, you would have checked to see that all you needed was in it before you made payment.
If were to be a new phone and after getting home you discovered it can't stream YouTube do you think they will take it back and refund you after using the phone for some days??

I boy two AC last year he put 1yrs guarantee on it after a while it stopped working (5 months later) one of them l, I didn't bother to return it o called a repair man to check it and replace whatever might be the issue. On getting to my house we discovered he sold 1hp instead of 2hp

Na so I go him shop he disagreed saying it's 6 months I should have come earlier, even after I had my receipt with me as proof and chat of the transaction.

I didn't say anything na so I enter barracks went to see the army OGA no those their boys oo, paid 30k he gave me a truck with four boys got to his shop picked him up he was on the guard room for two days...
After two days he called me to beg and refunded my 30k for the army, the gas i filled for the 1hp, the 2hp gas i was going to fill, and my fuel money for going and coming...
Mind you I gave the army the 30k he gave to me and I didn't return the 1hp AC.

Mind you it was in a big market of electronic in Iwo road in Ibadan here....

You simply bribed the army to get your money forcefully from the man. Is that what you call justice?

I have been following this thread silently and I didn't want to say anything at first but it seems this issue is still lingering.
From the chats and conversation from the both parties, I think what happened was that the woman bought the phone from him and when she discovered that it didn't serve her purpose she complained to the man and he changed it. Then after some time she came again with another complain and this time around she make the selection herself as she told the man she's tech savvy and can make the selection herself and this is where she shot herself in the leg. Then afterwards she said the phone couldn't do YouTube and the man should give hera higher version phone and she will top the money for him. I don't think the man has the higher version and obviously, admitting that he doesn't have a higher version would mean the woman requesting for refund. And then the man will lose home and abroad.
Now, if the woman had gone to computer village to buy that phone and changed it the first time and comes back the second time, they wouldn't listen to her and if she asks for a higher version, they may hold her money and tell her that they will inform her to come collect whenever they have it. It could take months and she might eventually have to go with the one she picked herself.
The man would have used this strategy instead and the issue would have been resolved since.
Please you guys should count it all as an experience, both the seller and buyer. And to those who has tagged the man as scammer should please bring down your post.
