I tend to agree with the poster. $5k is a very good amount abroad. It can take you far. If you make that monthly you are doing well. N30M in Naija is good too but that money could vanish in a few weeks without insurance in case of eventualities. And when you also take insecurity and hostility into consideration, one can comfortably agree that $5k abroad is better.

Iran is the real deal, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis & co are just foot soldiers. Iran has been waiting for this for years, they only needed Isreal to trigger it & which it has done, June 13 will be historic. Healthcare system, education, agriculture, transportation even military. If I am to decide, I would advise Iran to accept a ceasefire. Let this religious war end. It will never ever profit Iran. I once booked a flight online and checked in. From Abuja to Lagos. It was a 6:pm flight. The airline kept postponing our flight till 1:30 am!
I was so hungry that I could barely walk cos I didn’t have any more money on me. In fact, I had eaten my lunch around 2 pm that day. I arrived Lagos around 2:30 am. No money, no cab, no friend, no way to go home. It was a horrible experience.
