The President General of the Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership, Chizy Enyi Esq, has raised an alarm over the semantics and nuances of the operations of the Nigerian Police to unjustly favour certain individuals because of political interest. A case study involving TAMMY DANAGOGO, PASTOR DR TOMBARI GBENEOL on one side and NIGERIAN POLICE, NYESOM WIKE on the other side, on the allegation of a phone conversation that the now accused persons are planning to kill Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

The way, manner, and rush the police are going about in this case, if properly and wholeheartedly invested in curbing criminality in Nigeria, crime will become a history in our dear country. Maybe, as it involves a man who sees himself as a demigod in Rivers State and the animal kingdom syndrome, where some animals are more equal than the other.

The information available to us has it that there was an alleged phone conversation between TAMMY DANAGOGO and DR. TOMBARI GBENEOL, wherein the duo conspired to kill Nyesom Wike. This information was set to have been unveiled through a tracking device by an individual (only God knows who). Thereafter, DR. GBENEOL was arrested and detained till date by the police for over two weeks without trial, thereby infringing on his fundamental rights. But because of the animal kingdom syndrome, the police see nothing wrong with their actions.

Based on the information above, we are tempted to ask the following questions;
1. Who was responsible for the tracking and has police given permission to any individual to track people's conversations.
2. When did TAMMY DANAGOGO become an ENDANGER SPECIE that he is now on police watch list as a common criminal.
3. has TAMMY DANAGOGO any known criminal record, or has he been found guilty before that warrant such inhuman treatment.

Two weeks after the arrest and continued detention of DR TOMBARI GBENEOL and the failure to get what they wanted, the police issued police invitation dated 9th January 2026 via social media to TAMMY DANAGOGO. The irony is that this same social media posting of the police invitation was done by the supporters of Nyesom Wike in Rivers State. How they got the police invitation even when the person the invitation was addressed to has not gotten notice of it is still A MIRACLE WEY NO DEY TIRE JESUS.

We were astounded and perplexed to see that Nigeria Police are now acting only on the information that crime is about to be committed than the actual commission. The same Wike, who is their bride today, publicly told Inec officials coming to conduct elections in 2016/2017 in Rivers State to write their wills. Since then till date, the police have not called Wike to caution or reprimand him since he left office as Governor of Rivers State. Most recently, an attempted assassination crime by known Wike supporters led by one Honest Amadi was recorded at Londa Hotel in Port Harcourt during a live tv interview by Dr. Lelonu Nwibubasa on Arise Tv. where the assailants attempted to kill Nwibubasa and a staff of Arise Tv. The police only recovered the cameras belonging to Arise Tv from the assailants without telling the public anything about that matter to date. INDEED, THE POLICE ARE WONDERFULLY MADE.

We are aware that the only crime TAMMY DANAGOGO has committed against Wike is his strong stand in supporting Sir Sim Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, and nothing more. We are surprised at why the police will be treating TAMMY DANAGOGO as a common criminal by bringing him to ridicule through the media. For record purposes, TAMMY DANAGOGO was a former Commissioner, former Minister, and twice former Secretary to Rivers State Government. If Wike can be treated like a VVIP by the police, then TAMMY DANAGOGO is far above qualified to be treated as such.

Based on these and many more, we hereby resolve as follows.

1. That the Nigeria Police should stop the selective investigation of those against Wike.
2. That the media trial against TAMMY DANAGOGO is far below standard and should be stopped.
3. That the continuous detention of DR TOMBARI GBENEOL is in breach of his fundamental rights, and he should be released immediately with any condition

We urge all Nigerians to be steadfast and law abiding as we still believe that one day, Nigeria will be better against intimidation.

I have read through this article written by Achi W. Wobodo Esq, on the above subject matter, and agreed with him in part, that some NIGERIAN POLITICIANS have MISUSED the word LOYALTY AND BETRAYAL, but state in fact, that the writer, BETRAYED AND GUFFED FULL TIME.

The writer condemned some NIGERIAN POLITICIANS who have MISUSED the word LOYALTY AND BETRAYAL, without limiting the meaning of LOYALTY AND BETRAYAL to the political context as used by the politicians.

What is LOYALTY and BETRAYAL as it is used in political context. POLITICAL LOYALTY is devotion to and identification with a political cause or a political community, its institutions, basic rules, major political ideas, and general policy objectives. POLITICAL BETRAYAL is doing something harmful, such as helping the opposition and political enemies against your political group.

Having known the political meaning of LOYALTY and BETRAYAL, did the writer BETRAYED. YES. Sometimes, in 2023, Achi W. Wobodo Esq was hired by some APC ward Chairmen and other ward executives of the 319 wards in Rivers State to file an action against the party for their unlawful desolution and an order reinstating them. He filed the said action as directed, and the party was served with all the court processes.

While the matter was ongoing, he went to work with Tony Okocha and the party whom his clients filed an action against in court. In his usual way, he deliberately refused to file counter affidavits to all the preliminary objections raised by the defendants against his clients in the matter. The worst side of the story is that he refused to resign from the matter, having identified with the defendants, until judgment was given against his clients, and he celebrated it.

What else is BETRAYAL in GENERAL and not even POLITICAL. Mr. writer, don't know that you have BETRAYED the confidence reposed in you by your clients? Please, apologise to them.

Mr. writer, you were appointed SA Legal to a former governor of Rivers State (name withheld). At the same time, other of your Isiokpo brothers, namely; Late Asso Wenah of blessed memory, Hon Chris Oyirinda, and Dr. Welendu was all drafted into working with the former governor. After the first and second tenure of that administration, which you served as SA Legal for 8yrs, you followed up to Abuja to become one of the unofficial aids with an office to a former minister for another 8yrs. Yet you claimed you are hungry.

I pray you don't die of hunger with your robust opportunities. If we that have litany of opportunities are still here without much complaints, then truly, guilty conscience is over flogging you for your BETRAYAL.

Who the writer want to please and the categories of audience he wants to impress is still what I am gasping to get or was he responding to a statement he is much afraid to mention the person who made the statement. My dear Mr. writer, just move on and leave the rest for God to judge you

However, in as much as the writer is economical with the truth, his shot can not hit his target. Hence, this article is baseless, useless, and of no effect

ALLEGATIONS AGAINST UPTH; NOT ONLY MISLEADING AND LIES, BUT AN ACT CAPABLE OF CAUSING FURTHER DEATH IN THE SOCIETY.

The Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership has conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations that because of the power outage in the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, that over fourteen (14) children died and several patients billed for operations were cancelled, HENCE PATIENTS WERE TRANSFERRED TO PRIVATE HOSPITALS FOR SURGICAL OPERATIONS. The said story is not only misleading and lie, but is capable of causing further death knowing that the said UPTH is a place that saves lives medically.

When we visited the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, we were conducted round the wards and departments by the Public Relation Officer to see things for ourself as we visited the following departments and Units; 1. Internal medicine, 2. Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), 3. Orthopaedics, 4. Psychiatrics, 5. Surgery, 6. Paediatric, 7. Accident & Emergency, 8. GOPD, 9. Eye Clinic, 10. SCBU, 11. Intensive Care Unit, 12. Radiology, Etc and we noticed as follows;

1. That truly, there was power outage (PHEDC light) in the hospital because of the faulty transformer which lasted for about one week and six days and was restored, yet the hospital has standby generators that gives power 12hours daily.

2. That almost all the departments, have its own generator including four other generators (two 1000kva CAT, one 100kva and one 500kva standby generators) that power's the entire hospital.

3. That all surgeries fixed during the pendency of the PHEDC POWER OUTAGE were done without cancellation because the surgery department, powered its standby generator during the surgery and whenever there was no PHEDC LIGHT AND WHEN THE HOSPITAL HAS NOT PUT ON THE GENERATOR THAT POWER'S THE ENTIRE HOSPITAL, THE SURGERY DEPARTMENT AND OTHERS, USUALLY PUT ON THEIR OWN GENERATORS.

4. That nobody died in the hospital with respect to the PHEDC OUTAGE in all the departments wards including the surgery and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).

5. That the Radiology Department is powered 24hours because of the MRI Machine that cost over #500,000,000.00 which is the best in West Africa and other scanning machines.

6. That even on the day we visited the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, several surgical operations took place with the help of the standby generator powering the entire hospital.

As a responsible NGO, saddled with the issues concerning good governance, we have no option than to conduct an independent accessment of the activities going on in UPTH as it involves human lives and to verify the veracity in the allegations that patients have been transferred to private hospitals and several children have died as a result of power failure, we were convinced that the allegations by mischief makers is not only misleading and lies, but is capable of causing further death if the public lose confidence in the UPTH whose primary responsibility is to save life medically knowing that majority of those whose relatives are sick, can not afford to pay high bills associated to private hospitals. What the mischief makers intend to achieve, is only known to them.

In our further investigation, we were made to understand, that majority of those mischief makers are staff who want to divert patients to private hospitals for economic gains, thinking that using the power outage as an excuse, is reasonable enough to cause fear in patients and their relatives from going to UPTH and alternate to private hospitals and the rest are those who want to takeover the management affairs of the UPTH.

Because of the sensitive nature of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, we have resolved as follows:

1. That any information that is misleading about any hospital not limiting to only UPTH, must be proved by those who raise the allegations because we will petition whomever that is involved including media houses who publish without confirmation.

2. That the mischief makers are warned from further painting UPTH BLACK having regards to the fact that its primary responsibility is to save life medically because we will stop at nothing in making sure that regulating government agencies must call them for questioning.

Our major concern, is that the mischief makers have refused to look into the danger of painting UPTH BLACK in the eyes of the public as an institution saddled with the responsibility to save lives medically.

We, hereby, urge the public to disregard the information against UPTH from mischief makers.

A student has been shot dead at the Rivers State University.

Reports say the student was eating at the Faculty of Management Sciences when he was shot in the head.

The police arrested the shooter as he attempted to escape. An ambulance has arrived at the scene to evacuate the corpse. The student is yet to be identified.
