The Rivers State house of representative member representing Etche and Omuma federal constituency at the national assembly Chief Hon Ephraim Nwuzi, the Asa Asa Nga Asa, has defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Recall that Chief Hon Ephraim Nwuzi contested under the platform of The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections and won a seat at the Federal House of Representatives. He is a former chairman of Etche Local Government Council.

Today, Hon Ephraim formally joined the Etche APC caccus meeting at the residence of the leader of APC in Etche, and was received by the former chairman of the party Elder George Nwanjoku.

In his speech Hon Ephraim Nwuzi, promised to formally join the party (APC) with his supporters on a letter date! And promise to remain loyal to Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of transportation our leader.

Man Vomits three Live Cockroaches in Adoration Ministry church, Port Harcourt Rivers State. This was said to have happened after a Prophet in the church identified as E.S. Okenna Prayed For Him in Holy Anger

It was reported that the man has been crying over stomach bites for months.

According to eye witnesses, the stomach bites stopped as soon as he vomited the three live cockroaches.

A widow (name withheld) on Wednesday accused Peter Ebah, a police officer attached to Saakpenwaa Police Division in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State of detaining and raping her in a guest house after she was arrested for not wearing a nose mask.

She said,

“After a while, they took me to a guest house, where one of them, Inspector Peter Ebah, from Sakpenwa Police station raped and threatened to kill me if I misbehaved and held me there till this (Wednesday) morning.

“In the morning, he asked me to give him my account number so that he would transfer N2,000 into it. I played along and gave him the account number because I didn’t know what he would do to me if I had refused.”

However, the Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, said the police was investigating the matter towards unmasking the accused police officer and ensuring that justice was served in the matter.

The Rivers State police command has arrested three women for Child trafficking in Rumuokwuta, Port Harcourt Rivers State.

The women were about selling a baby when they were caught by the police.

One of the woman identified as Aunty Ify contacted the other to tell her that there is a baby available for sale at #950,000.

The woman she contacted told the other woman to come buy the baby for 1million Naira.

The investigation carried out by the Rivers state police shows that they have been involved in this business for a while now and this is not their first attempt.
