One of the things that gave us joy while growing up in Lagos was the sound of closing bells in our school. We would rush home hurriedly to change our clothes and run straight to the field(road)to play ball 'streetball'.
On more than one occasion, we played our ball to the compound opposite the field and it was seized due to us destroying things, our constant jumping of the fence or entering unannounced. We saw no reason why our ball shouldn't be given back to us and labelled the landlady a witch for being wicked to us as she went as far as 'bursting' our football at times
Few years later now, children also play ball into my compound which is so annoying because sometimes they destroy something in the compound. Due to the fact that we seize their ball, they went as far as breaking some part of our fence for easy access in.
On one fateful evening, I was chilling at home when I heard d ball land on our roof as usual. Unknowing to them that I was around, they jumped the fence into the compound and as they were about jumping out back, I pursued them and got hold of one of them,as I was about to beat him, I remembered committing the same offence while younger and I immediately let him go while I was there pondering over a question on my mind.... IS IT RIGHT TO PUNISH CHILDREN FOR THE SAME OFFENCE WE COMMITTED AS KIDS
pls share as I need to know people's opinion and also give examples of your own #Karmaresurrection
