to earn him a recall to the national team as Coach Stephen Keshi made a shocking revelation on Wednesday that the striker wants to be begged to play
for the Eagles.

Speaking with journalists in Calabar, the Big Boss stated that IK Uche who was snubbed for the World Cup in Brazil was originally considered for this
month’s Africa Nations Cup of Nations qualifying matches but rather than show interest at playing for Nigeria, the Spain based striker was seeking to
receive apologies for previous exclusions from the National team.

“He was supposed to be part of the team that is presently in camp but he said we must beg him first to play for Nigeria because he was left out of
some competitions but I can’t beg anyone to play for Nigeria, impossible. That’s why he is not here.” Keshi
declared.

It is not clear if IK Uche would be reconsidered for future engagements have singlehandedly blown away the fresh chance offered him to return to
the national team fold.

Ashantiking: Look how quick u were to mention 6-1 against Liberia. The fact remains the super eagles were lucky that year, from qualifiers to afcon. They will not be as lucky this time around. The super eagles are average at best.

Thunder fire you there. How dare you call the super eagles average? We are not in the same page. My argument centres around the venue not their performance.

Danagogo plead with him and asked if he was willing to continue and he said yes, the minister then promised to pay him for the two qualifying games. I can authoritatively tell you that Coach Keshi with take charge of the game. In fact, i learned from my reliable source that he has penned down a 6 million naira deal with the NFF to coach the super eagles till 2018.

It gets me irritating on hearing some people labeling UJ Eseme Stadium in Calabar a slaughter ground of the super eagles. If i may ask, hos super eagles ever scored more than two goals in that potatoes farm called stadium? The befitting slaughter ground ought to be Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna. Statistics don't lie.
