The management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the cut-off marks to be used for the 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise. JAMB Cut-off marks for degree – awarding institutions is 160. See more details below.

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the cut-off marks, during the 2020 policy meeting on admissions to DEGREE, NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION and NATIONAL DIPLOMA – AWARDING INSTITUTIONS.

JAMB Cut-off Marks.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released cut-off points for this year’s admission into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and monotechnics..

The minimum cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation enterprise are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.

Universities — 160
Polytechnics — 120
Colleges of Education — 100
Innovation Enterprise — 100

Institutions are, however, at liberty to raise their cut off marks for admission above the minimum set by JAMB.

These decisions were taken at the 2020 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede said institutions, with the decision, are not to go below the minimum cut-off points adopted at the meeting for admissions.

According to him, “What JAMB has done is to recommend; We will only determine the minimum, whatever you determine as your admission cut-off mark is your decision.

The board will ensure that criterion set by Senate are strictly adhered to by the institutions’ admission officers and no shifting of goal post in the middle of the admission exercise.

Politicians are people who play active politics and also hold public offices either by election or by appointment. Who are the top 10 richest politicians in Nigeria today? It's a question that is most asked among Nigerians, and most especially, asked by the Nigerian youths.
https://i1.wp.com/www.benupdate.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/richest-politicians-in-nigeria.jpg?resize=768%2C614&ssl=1
Politicians are very important people in the world based on the responsibility they take up. They regulate the constitution, draft rules, place and manipulate the government policies, influence decisions of sister nations directly and indirectly, and lastly, they maximize and leverage the natural and material resources in a nation. Politicians are professionals in the field of politics.

Whatever the situation maybe,it's now crystal clear that politics in Nigeria is more lucrative than oil business.

Would you classify these Nigerian richest politicians among the top billionaires in Nigeria like Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola e.t.c who we know are got their wealth through business and investments or rate them among the corrupt leaders in Nigeria who continually drain the economy of Nigeria at the expense of the suffering masses just to be wealthy.

It is a given that once a politician becomes elected and resumes in the office he is elected into, in little time he or she would amass wealth. A lot of individuals accuse politicians of theft of public funds.

Whatever the case could be ,the fact still remains that a number of these politicians rank high on the list of the richest persons in Nigeria and the reason why this is so has been stated.
