So they should exploit the masses, they are even not doing the needful, no steady electricity but charge exorbitantly, moreover where are the prepaid meters.

Before we grumble...consider a few facts

1.When we privatised electricity distribution and generation, the price increase was written into the law that governs the thing.

2.We need anything between $300-900billion to get light 24/7.

3.Privatization means that you pay more from your pocket.

4.We have to pay our bills...and let's be frank...we pay bills lower than countries like Ghana...who pay twice as much as we do.

5.Electricity is not a free lunch.

Just imagine what you saying, that money one useless politician will collect and put in his pocket, at the expense of the masses and the same masses will pay high rate in electricity and fuel while the thieves called politicians get them free abi

Look its all about leadership, most of them travel out to see and enjoy the good things other leaders like them did for their own country but bluntly refuse to replicate such where they rule because of corruption, rather they prefer sending their children there to study.

educate yourself, pengassan was threatening to strike because of grievances with ONE private company. It was abuse of power to attempt to cripple the whole country because of that. It was like all restaurant workers in the country threatening to go on strike simply because Mr Biggs staff had a problem with their management. If such a siituation is it not Mr Biggs workers that will go on strike? Wetin concern their Union telling Chicken republic workers and all other fast food retailers to strike as well?
