Hello my fellow Nairalander, I want first of all wish us a Merry Xmas a Prosperous new Year to come. I recently came along this wonderful gadget that gives light for up to 8 hours, all you have to do is buy a Car battary and you are good to go. The gadget comes with a Charger and can also be charged with a Vehicle when driven arround; though the gadget can not carry heavy electronics i.e like Fridge but can be used to power less heavy electronic like Laptop, Fan, Tv etc and can be fully charged in less than 4 hours, has no side effect and can last for Years if well taken care of. What do you guy think about it?

Nairaland GeneralRe: 10 Ways To Remain Poor by EMOGROUP: 4:00pm On Mar 11, 2013
BedLam: HOW TO REMAIN POOR..

1. Never wake up early...

Keep stretching & turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing if there are no bedbugs,
why hurry to get up??

2} Never plan how to spend your money..

Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and
recall how you spent it..

3} Don't think of saving until you have real big money...

How can you save when you earn so little?? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to your
burning needs..

4} Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the " uneducated "...

How can you a graduate
engage in petty trade or home based production?? That's for people who never went to school.

5} Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven & give U capital..

How do
they expect U to invest before U get millions of dollars?? Even though more than half the
businesses in your town were started with a few hundred dollar, you as a smart person can only
start with millons.

6} Complain about everything expect your own attitude:

Blame the system the government & the
banks that refuse to lend you money. They are all bad & do not want you to get rich.

7. Spend more than you earn.

To achieve this, buy consumer product on credit & keep borrowing
from friends & employers.

8. Compete in dressing.

Make sure wear the latest clothes among all workers in your offer..
Whenever your neighbour buys a new phone, u get one that is more expensive..

9. Get yourself a nice second hand car that costs more than three times your gross monthly pay..

10. Give your children everything they ask for since you're such a loving parent.

They should not
struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer that way, they will grow up lazy &
hence poor enough to ensure they can't help you in old age...

BusinessRe: Should A House I Live In Be Classified As An Assets Or Liabilities? by EMOGROUP: 9:10pm On Mar 04, 2013
@op it depends, if you live in a house without it giving you any income and you pay tax, then it a liabity; but if you own a house you live in and rent part of it out and use it to do other profitable business, then its an asset. A liabity is what takes Money away from you, while an asset is what gives you Money.

BusinessRe: Should I Continue Working For The Company Or Start My Own ? by EMOGROUP: 1:02pm On Feb 28, 2013
paparazzi1987: Hello guys, please i really need your advice..
Currently i am serving in oyo state (which i only go there every month for my montly clearance) and am currnetly working
for a well know software company in lagos as a programmer. They pay me 70K per month and they promised to fully employ me
immediately i finish my NYSC with 150K for a start. But what my heart desire is to really be self-employed.
I have developed applications that i believe if i can get just 5 buyers i should be making at-least 700k every three month and i will also have time for my family.
But, what If i decided to turn down there offer and am unable to get vendors that will buy my softwares.
Should i continue working for the company or start my own ? please and please i really need you advice on this.
keep your job and use your spare time to create a business, at least till the business is sustainable and gives you more return than the job. You might want to find a truth worthy individual that will do the run arround if you dont have the time.
InvestmentRe: Interest Rate On Fixed Deposit Accounts In Nigeria by EMOGROUP: 7:09pm On Feb 26, 2013
What am saying is that, instead of investing your Money on banks that uses the Money to do business and earn good returns on your Money, why not look for existing business and partner with the person or look for a good business idea and employ professionals to manage it for you. Am sure at worst you will make more than 50% of your Capital and you would have touche people lives.
