YorubaSamurai: shutup there you this fool.. Can any igbo governor in the entire East be compared to sanwoolu left hand? For the past 8yrs, how many projects have you heard the eastern governor commission or built? Liberal yorubas like you fool are the problem we have in Yorubaland.. Sudden death suppose wipe your family to stop further spread of diseases like your kind Can you see how you just exposed yourself again. That’s the problem with majority of your kind that always resorted to this kind of attitude just because people share there opinions and positions. To the reasonable question you have asked, There is no Igbo man contesting in the Lagos state Governorship be that as it may Sanwoolu has not done bad I agree but can you please tell him to tell us the truth about his role during the lekki shooting Secondly can you please tell your party to please allow the election to be free and fair ? This is the least we ask for even if he wins. We will celebrate him AnywAy me I don’t insult people. So continue |

My take is that if he must win it has to be free and fair. Personally he tried but the role he played during the shooting at lekki toll gate does not portray him as a good leader.
I was crying all night during the lekki toll gate shooting and i can’t imagine a governor of a state will do nothing but instead chose to allow its own youths to be shot at.
That has exposed the kind of person he his |

id911: Beremx, don't bother yourself. Same sentiment they used against Obi that made other tribes in Lagos to vote against APC in the Presidential Election. They're now claiming Gbadebo is Igbo because he's contesting election under Labour Party.
Below is the picture of Bode Rhodes-Vivour, the recently retired Supreme Court Justice that all Lagosians and Yorubas celebrate as their worthy son. Suddenly, Gbadebo from the same family is now Igbo. They won't learn! Honestly sometimes I just wish I can change my tribe. This Yoruba ApC members are just ethnic bigots trying to leverage on anything just to cling on that position. Unfortunately most of them are just opportunist who are just waiting for there share of the cake hence there lack of sense of reasoning. For me Sanwoolu performed well but the biggest dent on his image is the he played role in the lekki shooting. A father who cannot protect his children does not worth to be a father. A true father will sacrifice for his children even at the detriment of his own life. Secondly the brazen arrogance and boldness of this thugs in Lagos is getting too much now that there Godfather has been selected through there usual tactics you can now imagine how far they will act. Lastly I am very sure that a lot of secrets are hidden in Lagos in terms of our Revenue and expenditure, Let another party take over make we know wetin Dey sup. ATLIEN2027: Most of these Nigerians just don't want to accept that as Nigeria is becoming harder to survive, other countries are also facing the same problems. I have lived most of my life in the Western world, I can easily see that things are much harder for new comers compared to when I first left Nigeria long time ago. I have many friends in the UK and have visited that country more than any other country except for Nigeria. Nigerians are suffering in the UK, most are finding out that it's not es easy s they thought it will be. Just had a conversation with my cousin in London about this same topic and he was telling me how bad it is now for a lot of Nigerians migrating to the UK. It's even hard for those that have been there all their life not to talk of new immigrants.
I'll never tell anyone not to leave Nigeria, I left when I was very young but just know that it's not rosy as you think it is. All countries have inflation and job problems now just like Nigeria. May be with the exception of the US. If you can make your way to the US, then I'll say you are good. God bless you sir. This is exactly my point. For those Nigerians who have a good job or earning high amount doesn’t have any reason relocating to this place but can only come on a visit while those rushing here through student visa route should be prepared Of what to come |

Honestly for me I learn to ignore insults and abuses on this platform. Fortunately for me I have been doing business with people in the Uk even before migrating as well as have done several business on this platform even when I wanted to sell my car on this platform I know the insults I received but people who have met me on this platform know me. I I try to say things with all sense of honesty. My post was not actually to deter anyone away from coming to the Uk but was only trying to prepare them of the challenges here most especially those who resort to loan or people who wont have financial means that would atleast last them for a month or two most especially the students who always believe when they come here they will hustle and pay there remaining fees. AreaFada2: My brother, I know you mean well, but please let everyone have their own experience. Experience is the best teacher. A lot are more interested in trying to prove you wrong or even insult you instead of learning from your advise. All that from the comfort or chaos of their abode in Lekki, Bariga or Agege depending on the economic status.
Only few can fathom the trust cost of accommodation in London, for example. One said you get free treatment but forgot about about £10 per each prescribed drug. On what income level do you pay £100 to £150?
Over the years here trying to advise people to be realistic, we have been asked why we have not relocated to 9ja yet. |

LordTrezy: Do you even know what you are talking about, so a skilled dependent with a full time job can’t make 3k in a month, is that UK that useless lmao. I made $8k a month as an intern in the US. Anyway that was the aim of this post but I had to stop due to my busy schedule as well as some of the points as been mentioned by others. Be that as it may, It is not as if making a 3k is not attainable, definitely it is but it depends on the migrant situations, skills, profession, financial situation. E.g 60% of migrant to the Uk are coming for a greener pasture and most don’t really have the sufficient finances to make this trip which usually make them resort to loans and several other means to make the trip possible with the believe once they come to the Uk they will start gathering enough for themselves immediately. Anyone in this kind of situation should be ready to do anything in the Uk and not necessarily wait till they get there line of job. Uk employers values people with Skills and professionals and these are the people who make lots of money while others earn less |

thiagoteres: Not necessarily. Some people have an illusion about the reality of life abroad. They assume things would just sort itself when they land abroad. Take the op for instance. Unless it's a fairly small amount ,how do you honestly expect someone that would be working on a student visa to raise money to cover their living costs, school fees balance and then pay back a loan within the short period highlighted? Keep in mind also this person is going to a new place without any mention of a social support system. You nailed it jare I won’t have bothered commenting if had seen this |

Mzztiana: Thank you so much for your response.
It really is my friend. My heart bleeds since I've heard about it.
It's actually more sad cause I've heard quite a lot of other peoples' experiences regarding this same issue but in this case, it feels more personal and she seeks advice on how to "get the money" back. Bros the lady up there as told you the simple truth make una just accept fate and pray she refunds back the money but the truth is that forget that three month of repayment because your friend in Uk won’t be able to repay that money back at that time because right now I can imagine what she herself is going through in the Uk and funniest part is that I pray the school don’t even revoke her admission because am sure she never pay finish and she is only restricted to 20hours work per week so you can imagine how she wan pay for accommodation, balance up school fees, refund her debts. Let’s assume she even breach the 20hours work rule she no go still meet up with the time of repayment. UK work no Be like Naija work o and I don’t see her doing two jobs because it means she will forget her studies which will still lead to school revoking her studentship. |

Politics › Re: Court Nullifies Warrant Of Arrest On Umo Eno, Admits Been Misled By Applicant by emperorlaqrin: 4:01pm On Jan 11, 2023 |
Yeah you are absolutely correct and you have answered your questions because some facts presented to judges can be misleading and when there are no defense counsel during an ex parte proceedings how will the court know it has been misled. The court can only rule on what it is made to believe and the facts presented. obi58: To the best of my knowledge a judge makes ruling based on the facts as presented before him and the quality of the argument presented before him
If the ruling is deemed unfavourable to the defendant then he is free to appeal the ruling with suitable evidence or with the relevant citation from the applicable law and again the Judge after listening to his presentation will rule either to uphold the previous ruling or set it aside. If in the process of the hearings it is discovered that the prior ruling was made based on faulty or manipulated data, then the appropriate sanctions can apply.
But for a court to come forward and say it was misled? Hmmmm |

Anyway your research is right but my question is how do you enter the black market as a novice who don’t know anyone? Also which black market job you wan do wey go give you 2500? The truth of the matter is that before you can be able to do this you would have someone who was already in the system or someone who knows someone that can release there document for you. Secondly the rate ph that you will get is usually below the minimum wage and lastly the employer that would take you will be someone also in the system. No children involved How do you want to make 3k with a student visa ? Anyway you can only work for 20hours while your wife work full time. Eaganguolly: Are you saying one partner should stay back with children permanently? Or advising that one person should stay for like 6 months before the rest of the family joins? Am asking for myself. It depends on your financial capabilities but two options you have are a partner stays back with the children for some time while the other partner in the Uk work and know his/her way in the Uk before the other partner comes with the children Second option is to leave your child with your parent while you both come here before making provisions for your child |
