Nigeria as been in the Red list before now and yet Uk employers are still recruiting people. What the red list only means is that Uk cannot advertise jobs in the Red list countries but prospective employees can make a research on a recruiting company and if they deem you fit, they all sponsor you. |
Op please stop scaring people. Nigeria as been in the Red list before now and yet Uk employers are still recruiting people. What the red list only means is that Uk cannot advertise jobs in the Red list countries but prospective employees can make a research on a recruiting company and if they deem you fit, they all sponsor you. IyaebeTheGreat:Lol where did you get this pictures from ? The lawyer in the first image is one of the NDLEA lawyers in Lagos. |
This is one of the reason I am supporting Obi among the three main contestants in the last election because he seems to be the only one frugal in terms of finances. Make we just dey brace up of the impending decline in governance in the coming years. Anyway I pray for the best sha and hope the selected winner will transform things |
All this brouhaha about this leaked tape seems to amaze me because honestly I don’t seem to understand the fuss about the conversation or how that conversation has insinuated any religious bias. I see no reason why someone soliciting for votes would now be made a demon for trying to garner support whereas the opponents did same. All these propaganda should have been known by all that they are just meant to discredit a candidate. Politics is a dirty game but a particular party has made it more unworthy to go into. |
MrBiGGEST: MrBiGGEST:I would have loved to engage this person honestly however since you tagged his post I would just address all the points he has made. Yea I respect his views because we are all entitled to our views and we all see things in different opinions but honestly I don’t think we are been fair with one another in this country hence the level of injustice we all support and this last election has definitely shown that majority of us either from the Igbo or Yoruba are hypocritical with our views. As a Yoruba man who has lived in the North, whose majority of allies and friends are igbos , married to an Igbo and definitely have several personal relationships with my Yoruba people I had always said to people who cared to listen to me that Yorubas are the worst ethnic group among them all while Hausa will forever be the best. Yes my view is based on my personal relationships with this three majority groups and another person own could be otherwise so I respect that. having said this let me address some of the points. 1. On his first point the level of voters education and awareness on the need to vote in this last election is much compared to previous elections where majority of the voters were mostly party men/women and maybe few people who still had believe in the electoral system hence the reason you will see the total number of voters are mere fractions from the registered voters. This is the only time Youths came out en-masse because most are now aware that the only way bad governance can be changed is through there votes. So what changed then and now is the level of voters education put in place by various civil organizations as well as recent happenings prior to the election which triggered the direction we are heading as a country 2. My questions are why blame some for capitalizing on a loophole and praise another person for also doing same ? Where is the fairness in a political party and candidate that forgot Nigeria as a circular country needs to practice what she preaches. Where is the principle of federal character when a candidate opted for a vice that was from his same religious believes. He aligned with what was best for him that could give him the chance of winning. So where is the fairness in that ? Or how did peter obi capitalize or create whatever the writer termed “hate”. Apc chose a strategy and LP capitalized on the game plan created by APC so I don’t see why we should be biased with our judgments because in all honesty if ApC had not chosen a Christian vice, we won’t have been discussing all this. 3. This writer first statement in the third paragraph is some of the issues we are having anyway atleast his own abuse is constructive not some supporters who resorts into abuse, attack, insult and curses but I am going to say this first everyone who followed this election very well knows inside him and her that the massive support for peter obi was not about religion or tribe only if we want to keep on deceiving ourselves. Prior to the election people were tired and I can say it out rightly that a lot of people like me didn’t know who to support prior to obi emergence. The support he receives from someone like me is not because I see him as the messiah, Yes I don’t see him performing extra ordinarily also but just for one reason which is how frugal he his to finance. Thats the kind of president we need at this period because the level of debts and corruption in this country is way too much to allow other candidates emerge. Anyway Someone has been announced and we can only pray for the best. Now on the issue of Lagos is a No mans Land this is the only place I would agree with the writer because honestly The ApC capitalized on this word and used it against Labour Party and that gave APC a clear victory even before the election. However my point on this is that we only allowed a political party create enmity among ourselves by using the tactics of divide and rule. My point is that even without the word claimed to have emanated from Igbos sanwoolu would still have won the election even though he and the party were jittery hence the reason for adopting all means in winning the election. So my take on this is that it was Just a propaganda that igbos wants to take over Lagos. On the issue of sanwoolu victory I disagree with the writer because we only showed how tribalistic we are by intimidating, threatening, disenfranchising or fellow citizen from supporting his or her choice due to some fallacies that was spread by a political party just to make it seems that a tribe wants to take over there land. Where is the justice in disenfranchising your fellow country man ? What is the essence of the voters education, what is the essence of the billion spent? Anyway the enjoyment we all receive most especially in Lagos is that we all continue to have voters apathy because more people will be disinterested in 2027 election So the writer has admitted in the last paragraph that all the propaganda spread was not initiated by obi nor majority of his teeming supporters but just by a fraction of few he tagged headless mob which we all know who they are just because of politics. Lastly the notion that majority are supporting obi are mainly Igbo is very wrong because the man is recognized by other ethnic group as well. Ire ooo |

Ori yin o pe. Shebi una Say some people na omo ale? Enjoy the dividend of your votes |
mymadam:Not correct. The vice will be |
Una never see anything. The level of corruption that we will experience in this administration everyone go bow. Una better brace up |
Dentidon:Oga can you please shut up with this una land things you dey shout up and down. I thought we Youruba’s are tolerant ? Unfortunately we just exposed ourself more. Most of my friends whom I have told some things about the three major tribes now see reason why I don’t align with some of you guys. Don’t worry it’s a matter of time, Una go lick una wound because this government officials una Dey defend in the name of tribe will soon show una and you guys will start shouting. I know na insult I go receive but thank you I am a proud omo ale Yoruba. |
This hatred is real. I am so ashamed being a Yoruba man with the way you guys are acting. I have been fortunate to live in Hausa land, worked with igbos and proud I married one of them. As a Yoruba man I will keep on saying based on my experiences Yoruba people are the worst ethnic group and you guys have just proved yourself more to the outside world by allowing APC to use intolerance as a weapon of causing disunity among us. |
LegendHero:I hope engaging you will not resort to insults Yeah great moves and yes you have said it all but the question was who created that impression? Secondly will he have been doing this if Tinubu won Lagos State ? |
SpecialAdviser:Don’t mind them. When we talk they say we are omo ale Yoruba. Apc has turned a lot people to tribal bigots just in the name of politics and retaining power by all means. Imagine Desmond Elliot saying his mother is Igbo but he his a true son worthy to be re-elected as claimed by the APC followers but GRV is an Igbo and ipob sympathizer just because he his from the opposition God will help us in this country because election campaign has never been this bad but this people are just doing everything that it’s promoting disunity among its citizen just for there own selfish interest. Nigerians should be wise. Hausa man no be our problem Same applies to Igbo Neither is Yoruba But this government officials who have turned our backs against each other |
jagaban002:Can I private chat you? I wanna ask you some questions about the area. Do you live there ? |
Atlantis585:Werey Leleyi sha lol |
jagaban002:Bros how is epe like ? I have never been there before |
Can you please list the things Obaseki has done for Nigerians to see? |
For Obaseki, Op tell your Governor we that are not from Edo state are so disappointed in him. Infact he his a disgrace that don’t deserve any public sympathy. I could recall at the time he was seeking his re-election in apc and was screened out by the election committee, people of Nigeria stood behind him. He went to PDP, Nigerians fought for him, Edo people stood there ground against Godfatherism and voted for him Massively. Aftermath of the election, Your same Obaseki forgot the electorate, no meaningful impact in governance, He couldn’t and is not offering anything to its electorate as a governor. He was busy fighting up and down when he was supposed to face governance. What pained me the most is his deputy, who supported him through thick and thin because I like him for his loyalty despite the travails of his principal. He stood his ground and fought for him but now your Governor has spoiled that man’s reputation with his bad leadership as a governor. I don’t support ApC to be re-elected but I just feel so disappointed and dissatisfied because Obaseki should have been the best performing Governor in Nigeria with the way his people rallied round him during his Governorship campaign. |
TheCeasar:Dont mind the mumu jare. I just wonder if this people are so dumb and think they can toy with everyone intelligence. |
E missidy:Amen |
missidy:They are all government staffs lol although I am sure some sensible ones go still dey shout for the man but stupidity won’t make him listen |
Originalsly:The driver is just being stupid ni. I drive through that place and there is no way one can rush driving through that intersection and remember this a brt not even a car that is small |
FemiEmkaMusaFEM:You can see what I am talking about. I was not at that place when the incident happened but i knew na the only thing wey fit happen for that place be that. |
Midehi3:Abi o |
missidy:Infact that’s what I just stated but since I have been working inside GRA before I left. Those train guide are always at that place and there has never been a time a train will pass which I witness that I don’t see them there so my only guess is that the driver of the BRT bus no wait ni. He probably did not listen to those guys and wants to quickly pass and remember that place is kinda hilly for vehicles and it slows vehicle down |
BarrElChapo:The train cannot derail at that place. Na the driver no wait I don’t have first hand information but I know the road very well and am sure that’s what would have happened |
This was my daily route when going to work at my previous route and I can say categorically that this is one of the problem most Lagos state government officials as. Lack of patience, Abuse of power, in adherence to rules are just the order of the day of most of this people. Let me analyze the only thing that would have cause this accident. Where that accident happened is a bus stop called PWD and buses coming from Oshodi access GRA, Old secretariat road. There re usually a train guide stationed at that place at all times that controls and stop vehicles anytime that a train is about to pass. First the only BRT that goes through that road is Local Government official staff bus which means the driver refused to listen to the train guide and also it is worthy to note that the road which the train line passes through is kinda hilly hence the driver would have no choice than to slow down and remember the train is coming in high speed. This was an accident that could have been averted if the driver had waited patiently for the train to pass |
Dialpad:This is the most reasonable defense I have seen so far. God bless you brother. For me I am not against the governor but I am definitely indifferent due to his role in the lekki shooting. Yeah the man as performed well but atleast let them conduct free and fair election devoid of voters intimidation, harassment, disenfranchisement etc and we all will congratulate him. We cannot keep on doing things the wrong way |
