Majority of African Airlines do not require transit visas.

But I learnt here that Egypt Airways which I booked with will request Yellow Fever Vaccination card which can be gotten at the Airport for 5K. Alternatively, you can go to government hospitals or designated centers to get your vaccination done.

To secure cheaper tickets, you may have to book 3 weeks ahead minimally considering the demand right now. If you're moving with your dependant, it may be advisable that you go first and book a distant date for your dependants to cut costs.

Hello All,
Collection mail dropped for dependant finally. I have collected for main applicants and other dependents already, this was the only one we were waiting for. (I already booked flights in faith since early August so my prayer was that this would not be too delayed so that I don't change flights). Thank God it came on time!

Bio Aug 18th (did paid call on sept 16- was told awaiting decision, the lady offered to escalate)
Did paid mail on 19th Sept (response was that decision has been made - but my tracker still showed at DMC)
responded to the mail again on 20th Sept that application is still at DMC, feedback was the same, decision has been made, advised to wait for collection mail.
Application moved to VAC yesterday afternoon
application received by VAC this morning.
Collection mail received.
Still waiting for BRP


Main Applicant- Bio date was 30th August (priority, eventually did walk in with dependant on 25th)
NSF mail received 2 times which I responded to (if you do priority and you got an nsf, your application will still be treated with priority whenever you respond)- the best advise i can give is, ensure to put all documents with your application, to avoid nsf and delays.
Collection mail received for main applicant- 9th September (it stayed at VAC for like 2 days before i got the mail, also got the BRP 2 days before the collection mail.)
BRP and Collection mail received for dependant 12th Sept

For those still waiting, this process will test your patience, just be hopeful, prayerful and patient. Everyones' collection mail will drop, it is only a matter of time.

Trust me, even if he tell the security men, yes they might secure the car at that point, but they could also give intel to these thieves with the exact customer car description. Some are accomplices disguising as security men.

After our incident, we were advised to go to the bank were the cash was withdrawn and interrogate the account officer…but there was long line of people that the approval of the gratuity went through, any of them could had given the information to the thieves..so it was practically impossible to robe them in the mess. I believe is same case with the man.

CCTV will show the incidence clearly but I assure you there’s nothing that will be done about it. This is Naija, where’s the data for extrapolating and interpolating such.

My deceased mum pension was stolen in similar manner, cctv was played…we saw how the thieves trailed us and stole the fund from our car while we parked within a major pc mall to obtain a target…..story long, las las we were consoled with “make una thank God dem no follow una reach house sef”

What kind of carelessness and negligence is this, you collected 22million naira and kept it in a car knowing fully well that someone could have trailed him from the other banks where he collected the money from. This is gross stupidity.
