I just bought a seat Leon 2014. I notice the engine indicator light came up all of a sudden. The car jerks a bit occasionally if I want to accelerate from rest. It's occasional. I'm worried the engine indicator and jerk could be something serious. The car uses diesel as fuel and I have used Diesel exhaust filter (DEF) thinking it's the filter that needs unclogging but that is not helping either. I bout the car fairly used and it has done 75000 miles so far. |

The statements made by Justice Dongban-Mensem, Kanu Agabi, and Adegboyega Awomolo touch on some real challenges facing the judiciary, but let’s not gloss over the deeper truths. Yes, social media has made it easier to criticize public institutions, including the judiciary. And yes, there are societal issues like corruption and political dysfunction. But the judiciary isn’t just another cog in the system—it’s supposed to lead in integrity and accountability. So, let’s unpack this. First, "judges are victims" is an overplayed narrative. The judiciary has a responsibility to set the standard, not point fingers at societal corruption. If the judiciary can’t hold itself to a higher ethical benchmark, who will? Agabi’s claim that "only a few judges succumb to temptation" feels like an excuse. Even a single corrupt judge undermines the system's credibility because the judiciary’s power lies in the perception of fairness and justice. This isn’t about unfair vilification; it’s about consequences for actions. Second, where is the accountability? Awomolo’s lament about undue criticism from the public misses the point. People criticize because they’ve lost faith. Let’s not pretend the judiciary hasn’t earned some of this distrust. Cases drag on for years, "technicalities" override justice, and some verdicts reek of favoritism. Instead of dismissing public outrage as unfair, why not use it as a wake-up call? The judiciary must engage with these concerns, not shield itself from them. Third, the NJC protecting judges from "vilification" is not the solution. Transparency is. If the NJC spent as much effort publicly disciplining erring judges as it does trying to defend the institution’s image, maybe people would trust it more. Protecting judges’ reputations is less important than protecting the integrity of the judicial process. Lastly, Justice Dongban-Mensem’s call for intellectual upliftment is spot on, but it needs action. Adapting to the digital age isn’t just about keeping up with technology; it’s about reforming how justice is delivered. Why do we still have cases adjourned endlessly? Why can’t we digitize court records or implement more efficient systems to speed up trials? These are practical steps that will earn respect, not speeches. The truth is, the judiciary is at a crossroads. It can choose to embrace reform, accountability, and transparency—or it can continue blaming society and social media for its woes. Nigerians deserve a judiciary they can trust, not one that asks for blind loyalty. So, instead of blaming the critics, let’s see action. That’s how you rebuild trust and reclaim dignity. |
Benue people are voting the reverend father Alia of APC as governor and Peter Obi of Labour party as president. We don't do party anymore. We do individuals. Benue have suffered for too long. We want a better Benue State and Nigeria. Alia and Obi, Carry go. |

Of all the dumb ideas Jonathan's cabinet have being spewing out, this would take the price if it is ever implemented. I mean, how more dumb can these Ministers get? Even if the Taj-mahal and Kilimanjaro were domiciled in Nigeria, our tourism will still be taken the beating because of the immanent insecurity and unrest in the country. Whoever proposed this inane idea should put on a red nose and take Jonathans hat to be crowned the clown of the year. April fool on May 1st, 9ja na wa O! |

by God! Some people don't know how to argue, @ Dan_de_BlackItaliano, you could do with some class to brush up your argument skills as Sakaguchi is beating you up left right center. Carefully follow how both of you have argued and you will see how dismal you have performed. |
You are just on point @OP last year when the self proclaim CHIEF servant gave out his daughters in a political show of might, everybody who was somebody in Nigeria politics was there to celebrate not the work of the President-courting governor but the house of Talba marriage. I was shocked when I saw giant size billboards congratulating the governor for his enviable success of being a father-in-law and I was like, why can't this man take greeting card like every other person? Why is he so obsessed whit billboard. To make matters worst, we were compelled to watch the reality show of his daugjters life for over ten days as the 2 television station in Minna only broadcasted the life of the Talbas. How the brides pierce her noses, draw local tattoos on their bodies, try-out their dresses it was so annoying. I wonder if Channels TV, AIT, Silverbird and co will only show the soon to be wifed lives of the Fasholas in Lagos non-stopped withou receiving reprimands. The christening of those buses you said are just the beginning, Talba might soon name all public schools in Niger after himself and his daughters and nothing might be done about it. The man is just seeking cheap publicity. |
And how are we suppose to know about that? He won the election and that is incontrovertible. But questioning if he was a good president is asking me to go metaphysical. I don't know and I doubt if anybody knows bro. |
sakaguchi: Buhari should bury his ambition of acceding Aso Rock. I am tired of retirees trying to make the sit of power a pension home. Buhari has no place in Nigeria of today because his ideology with all due respect is defunct and can't move apace with the fluid scheme of things in today's contemporary world. He has dealt to himself mortal political no-no and should live with the consequences. For God sake, @ over 70, his ideology has calcified and no longer malleable, there is no way Buhari can say he has outgrown the person who made a speech that all Christian should vote for Christian and all Moslems for Moslems. It is obvious that deep down, the serial looser remains a bigot and has no new thing to offer. As an opposition party in the country, how has he contributed to enhance the worrisome state of things in the country, accepted Jonathan is showing signs of ineptitude, what has he proffer to be the solution, is he waiting to grace the seat on the rock before he serves his father land. If Buhari wants to be the president of the whole country, why has he not seen sagacity in condemning the unprovoked killings of innocent Nigerians in the north, because I know he has nothing to offer in uplifting Nigeria's economy. Even if he becomes president, insecurity will still be a daily occurrence, Nasarawa state that is superintended by his party CPC is wearing the face of an Hollywood medieval action film with frequent incontinent attacks from fulanis on locals. Let Buhari work hard with his lackey the governor for Nas. and surmount the insecurity there, then and only then will he win 1 mark on security, even at that, he still have other marks to score on economy, corruption, wealth creation, etc. So far, he has 0/10 and his mark and time starts now....111 likes You are so on point. |

If you could be her friend, you could also be a family friend. If you both work in the same place, or live in the same area, you will definitely be in touch. But Until then, forget about your unnecessary calls. |

Ghana midfield star Michael Essien could return to Chelsea as it has emerged that the Blues have offered Jose Mourinho a contract to return the English club. Essien, who is on loan at Real Madrid from Chelsea, moved to the Spanish club on the orders of Mourinho, the man he considers as his father. The Ghanaian player was given the chance by Mourinho to revive his career at Real Madrid after suffering less playing time at Chelsea. Essien was among one of Mourinho’s early signing at Chelsea and with the Ghanaian’s performance at Real Madrid the Portuguese trainer could bring the Ghanaian back to Stamford Bridge. Mourinho has been offered a three-year contract to take over at Chelsea in the summer. The deal on the table for Mourinho is believed to be worth between €10M and€15M net per year. Mourinho joined Chelsea in 2004 from FC Porto, leading the Blues to two Premier League titles. He left in 2007 after failing to make the desired impact in Europe. http://www.informationng.com/2013/04/mourinho-essien-set-to-return-back-to-chelsea.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+InformationNigeria+%28INFORMATION+NIGERIA%29 |

An explosion ripped through a fertilizer plant Wednesday night in West Texas and may have caused dozens of injuries, officials said. A hospital in Waco, Texas, has been told to anticipate 100 injured people coming in from the fertilizer plant area, an official at the medical facility said. Glenn Robinson, CEO of Hillcrest Hospital, said a field triage station was being set up at the plant some 18 miles north of Waco after the Wednesday night explosion. A photo after the explosion -- which reportedly happened around 7:50 p.m. (8:50 p.m. ET) -- showed a huge plume of smoke rising high into the air. The West Fertilizer Plant is located about 20 miles north of Waco. A school and a nursing home are among the buildings near the plant, CNN affiliate KWTX reported. Other authorities did not respond immediately to CNN's requests for information Wednesday night. Tommy Alford, who works in a convenience store about three miles from the plant, told CNN that several volunteer firefighters were at the store when they spotted smoke. Alford said the firefighters headed toward the scene and then between five and 10 minutes later, he heard a massive explosion. http://edition.cnn.com/2013/04/17/us/texas-explosion/index.html |

Thank you, as I said earlier, the guy doesn't sound so educated, obviously he is trying to sign up to facebook but since the phone is already registered and he is in possession of the number, he was able to change the password. Now the accounts have all of my friends in it, he has not change the display name, all he did is changing the password, and profile pics and he now started posting status. I've tried explaining to the guy but he is unnecessarily being difficult. I tried resetting it but all the codes are being sent to him and I can't retrieve it. I opened another Facebook account for this guy with a new email address so that he can relinquish mine since it looks as if he can't open one or even understand the concept that that account is mine and for me alone. All of my attempts was not welcomed. Tomorrow another status will pop up and this is sending me craaaaaaaaaazy. |
72 virgins for the guys ?WTF! What if a woman blow up innocent infidels to appease their OGA ATT, will they get 72 warriors with dangling madingos ?!!! |
Another story. This is not convincing enough. The charade was poorly executed. Nobody is going to believe it. The Emir should be more convincing next time as is lackeys did not do a very convincing job here. This is another Kannywood movie where Ali Nuhu does not die. Back to the rewards....VIRGIN number 5 is being sampled. Silly stocks!!!! |
From a corner of my eye, Mata looks like a smaller frame of Rooney today. |
