That is what the IDF has been doing several times and making the war to drag on for this long. they are about to do the same thing in Rafah so that not many people would die.

They could have done it another way but the casualty would be too high.

Hamas has been running and hiding behind civilian structures to launch attacks at IDF; that is not conventional warfare. It is urban guerilla war!
