^^Okay. I can agree with first paragraph. And last paragraph too is understandable in as much as women folks are conscious of Allah, otherwise things can spiral out of control as seen modern in times.
I know you have good intention but i am not supporting any form of feminism. It's bound to be hijacked even if it is for good course. Anyways, overall, Muslim women must be respected and there are lots of educated Muslim women out there.
@underline is incorrect, it is derived from poor translation and interpretation of the verse.
“Duaa is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings upon your Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.” [At-Tirmidhi, Hasan Al-Albani]
Your tradition above says it all. Arab pagan did believe that direct contact with God is not possible and only upon venerating certain idols do their prayer reach God.
Once you believe that contacting God is not possible without mentioning another being, you are associating that being with God.
onegig: Exactly what most Muslims who can see beyond their fingers have been canvassing for.
Women are actually the one that raise generation after generation of Muslims but this primary source and the first point of education of a Muslim child in most homes is illiterate. opinions not expressed and generally lack the exposure to offer the kids the best of Moral, religious and social education because they themselves don't have these things and like the title of the thread "buried". You can't give what you don't have.
We have myriads of problems facing us in the current world like homosexualism, STDs, HIV/AIDs, adolescent pregnancy etc... but how do we educate and reinforce the belief of our children when the mother herself is shrouded and knows next to nothing.?
The majority of Muslim men in their chauvinistic nature can continue using fatwas, turning injunctions upside down so as to further their selfish purposes but the truth is we would continue in this same cycle and continuously hamper the development of future generations of Muslims until we change our ways and allow women their rightful place. The family is the basic, most fundamental and effective way of effecting change. But how do you do that when you have an absent father and a defective mother?
I could agree with you more only if you perfectly outlined "change" you craved for. I do notice 2 undefined points @bold. So far, points you raised appear too vague and broad. They can be easily misunderstood especially the later.
^^ Yes, it's. But pls understand my earlier comment should only be understood in the light of average folks not rich people. Rich folks have nothing to worry about. They would just drop the money and plan. They don't have to worry about how much it costs to dig foundation, up to lintel, decking etc.
algorithmz: It is not permissible in Islam to inflict harm on your self and others, when spouses engage in mouth action, they are causing harm to their body, because the private part is meant for diacharge of waste in form of urine, no matter how clean the parts are bacterias are present, that is why some people swallow antibiotics after mouth action. The mouth is incharge of the digestive system, using the mouth on the excretory system will cause harm to the body, by this its haram in Islam. Also mouth action is like anal sex this is because it goes against natural human habits, it is also associated with homosexuals. Allah knows best.
(mouth action) or MouthAction na white folks invention, Very disgusting.
mufutau55: NO. No Sir. Not even that Pilot guy who married that so-called celebrity girl in Nigeria whose house was made with old Nigeria Airway's plane.. I am not into those types... Just build me a good house with plenty bedrooms and large Living rooms... because I get big family. Go look in Kkonsults, Ihebrooke and those other good Architects we have on Nairaland with my comments of their design swhen I see a good one.
Hajji M.
maybe it's his house i saw online. Very silly. Anyways it's his choice.
Will the Khilafah be restored before Imam Mahdi emerges? Will he be a Sunni or a Shia? Is he already born
"There is a Hadith in Sahih Muslim that a Khalifah will die. And there will be disagreement concerning succession. Then a man will emerge out of Madina. He will hurry to Makkah. And the people of Makkah will come out to him and urge him and try to force him to accept the Bai'aa.
Now we have a problem here. We haven't heard that word (Bai'aa) for years and years. The word 'Bai'aa' is put into a place, something called 'Cold Storage'. What is this Bai'aa? It is the pledge of allegiance which legitimizes the role of the Khalifah. That is Bai'aa. And it is an institution that is located in the Qur'an and in the Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad (SA). When he (Imam Al-Mahdi) accepts the Bai'aa; at that time he will confirm and proclaim himself to be Imam Al-Mahdi.
Good points raised. There should be no distractions while embarking on this project. Very expensive indeed. Headache, frustration aren't to far off from this project.
On mortgage, I don't think that's wise move even though it has some benefits. Consequences can be dare if homeowner delinquent. Income is gotta be regular, consistent and guaranteed to do that. Otherwise, your savings can go down the drain just like that and in DEBT forever.
spyder880: I am planning a surprise building, expect the unexpected in architecture
lol, I saw one few yrs ago in Abuja. That was aircraft architecture. I guess hajj mufutau55 just doesn't admire those unusual designs. Neither do I actually.
vegng: Not at all. The sweet taste of mango was predominant. The only thing is that you'll feel the stringiness from the aloe vera because it contains fibre.
Of course mango sweetness would prevail. Aloe Vera, though good cosmetically and medically, it tastes bitter than Tongkat Ali.
You should make Aloe Vera juice too.
Remember stuff that taste bitter usually good for health. So far i have never used Aloe Vera in cooking. Don't know if i can do that.
