Politics2015: There Will Be Bloodshed, If Jonathan Runs Warns Junaid Mohammed by emrall(op): 5:59am On Dec 01, 2013
…Says Jega’s INEC too lousy to guarantee free, fair and credible poll

From: ISMAIL OMIPIDAN, Kaduna

Second Republic member of the House of Representatives and Russian trained Medical Doctor, Junaid Mohammed, has declared that blood would flow on the streets of Nigeria, should President Jonathan insist on running for the presidency in 2015.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sunday Sun from his base in Kano, the former lawmaker, who chaired the House Committee on International Economic Relations and Socialist Bloc, argued that it was wrong for anyone to suggest that the clamour for power to return to the North in 2015, was coming from the North alone, insisting that there abound more agitators in the South-west, in this regard, than there are in the North, adding that “I can tell you today that there are more agitators in the South-west, for power shift to the North, than there are in the North. And they are doing this because they believe in justice and fairness. If you have faith in a system, you must ensure the system runs fairly and justly too. Apart from the issue of fairness and justice, the South-west knows that it has a lot to lose, should it allow the country to plunge into any political upheaval. Lagos alone, accounts for 45 percent of our national economy, and my friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of that notorious fact. So the South-west cannot fold its hands and watch one irresponsible and incompetent leader lead the country into an avoidable political violence. Common sense tells the South-west that it would not be in their interest for this country to convulse again.”
He also spoke on the recent clampdown by EFCC on some governors and other issues of national interest.

The closest President Goodluck Jonathan has come to saying whether or not he would run in 2015 was to say recently that he was under pressure to run. Should he run?

First and foremost, I do not believe he should run. He should not run, whether he is under pressure or not. He is his own man, therefore, he should be responsible enough to take that decision, and not to bore us with the irresponsible statement of saying he is under pressure. He should stop playing with the destiny of this country. He is humble enough to know the consequences of his action, should he insist on running. But let me warn that he should not do anything that would plunge the country into avoidable anarchy.
Quote me, if Jonathan insists on running, there will be bloodshed and those who feel short-changed may take the warpath and the country may not be the same again. His running will amount to taking about 85 million northerners for a ride and that is half of the country’s total population. So, there will be bloodshed. But we don’t pray to get to that level, before his ethnic and tribal advisers pull him back.

In case these advisers are unable to pull him back, what are the options available to Nigerians?

The option is to pile up pressure, to ensure that he does not take the country for a ride. Nigerians must be prepared not to allow him force any political upheavals or violence on us, because that will be the consequence, if he fails to listen to the voice of reason. At any rate, on the three criteria globally used to measure preference for a leader, this man has got none of them. They are competence, integrity and acceptability. On competence, you journalists know this better. President Jonathan is incompetent. He has got no integrity, because he is also corrupt and irresponsible. On acceptability, apart from his few ethnic and tribal advisers, who are urging him to contest, Jonathan today is not acceptable to the generality of Nigerians. So on all these three counts, he is nowhere, so on what basis is he going to run? Answer me, I am asking? So like I said from the onset, in order to avoid political upheavals and violence that his action would cause this country, it will be in the best interest of Nigeria for him not to run. And history will surely be kind on him, should he decide to take that path of honour.

Since you are saying he should not run, is the opposition, as we have today, a viable alternative?

I want to be careful, with my choice of words. What do you mean by viable alternative? Was Jonathan a viable alternative before 2011 election? Or was late Yar’Adua a viable alternative before 2007? It’s after you have tested someone that you know whether the person is a viable alternative or not. It’s you journalists that use those words. I am a politician, and I have been in it for about 40 years now, therefore, I won’t succumb to that choice of words.
Having said that, if there is going to be a free and credible election, I don’t mind if Jonathan runs, because I know he would be roundly rejected by Nigerians. But the last thing you want to guarantee in a country where the police have suddenly become an arm of PDP’s militia is a free and credible election. You don’t win election by using the bullets. So we are in a Catch 22 situation.
With what we have seen so far under Jega, INEC cannot guarantee a free and credible election. INEC is very corrupt.

Where do these leave the North which has been clamouring for power to return to it in 2015?

It’s wrong to say it’s only the North that has been clamouring for power to return to the region in 2015. I can tell you today that there are more agitators in the South-west, for power shift to the North, than there are in the North. And they are doing this because they believe in justice and fairness. If you have faith in a system, you must ensure the system runs fairly and justly too. Apart from the issue of fairness and justice, the South-west knows that it has a lot to lose, should it allow the country to be plunge into any political upheaval. Lagos alone accounts for 45 percent of our national economy, and my friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is aware of that notorious fact. So the South-west cannot fold its hands and watch one irresponsible and incompetent leader lead the country into an avoidable political violence. Common sense tells the South-west that it would not be in their interest for this country to convulse again.

Come to think of it, Obasanjo was unfairly and undemocratically imposed on us by a few Generals from the North, using state resources to fund the PDP in 1998. I am not a member of the PDP, but I was in Jos (at the convention that produced Obasanjo, as the presidential candidate), and I knew Obasanjo never won the primary; it was manipulated in his favour. But we thought Ekwueme was decent enough to challenge what transpired. Instead, he was doing ‘paddy paddy’ with Obasanjo, until recently when I read the interview he granted one Hausa newspaper. Now, because of the way Obasanjo came in, when he was leaving too, he gave Nigerians, a mentally and physically sick Yar’Adua. And after Yar’Adua, we now have this nincompoop as president. I gave this background because there was no justification for having Obasanjo in the first instance. It could have been anybody from the South, thrown up through a credible process, not by a few Army Generals.
So, as I was saying, if Jonathan insists on running, there will be violence in Nigeria if he wins, because he can’t win a free, fair and credible election. I don’t speak for the North, but I believe what the north wants is a competitive process, where the game of number comes to play and the North has the numbers. If there is going to be a credible election, Nigerians will not bother, because for me and for most Nigerians, the process is more important than the result. But these present people cannot guarantee that.

Look at Anambra. Is that the kind of a thing we want to see in 2015? A situation where PDP which is the party at the centre, is giving thumbs up to a process that not only disenfranchised more than half of the registered voters, but also disenfranchised its own candidate and his entire family. Is that fair? This is why I said from the beginning that Jega’s lousy INEC, with highly partisan people in the country, with the police, as PDP militia cannot give us a free, fair and credible election where Jonathan is a candidate. So, to avoid chaos, Jonathan should just take a bow and leave in the interest of the country.

On a final note, what do you make of the recent clampdown by the EFCC on some governors, especially from the North?

First and foremost, I have not seen the details. So, I will not comment until I see the details. But there is a pattern emerging, in that only governors from the North, especially those who are opposed to President Jonathan’s 2015 ambition, are the ones being hounded. Whether there is a credible allegation for hounding them is another thing. Now, the immediate consequence of this for the EFCC is that it will discredit and politicise its affairs. Once you politicise an institution such as the EFCC, you are bastardizing the criminal justice system.
Now, the EFCC is headed by a northerner. So the slant being given to it is that these people are being hounded by their fellow northerner. But I want the chairman of the EFCC to know that one day, he would be removed.

PoliticsAnambra Guber Election And Its Effects by emrall(op): 5:43pm On Nov 29, 2013
It is no longer news that PDP is losing its relevance in Nigeria polity. The cross carpeting of some governors and the part played by the party in Anambra Guber, race is a cause for concern for the diehard supporters of the PDP party and also raising a lot of questions. According to Mr. Tony Uzoma a diehard supporter of PDP, he said, never in the history of Nigerian politics have they witnessed a ruling party supporting and rigging elections for a different party against their own party and candidate in an election. You may recall that Olise Metuh was publicly supporting Apga against his party candidate Tony Nwoye which has led to the suspension of some PDP party members in Anambra state. There is this fear that Tony Nwoye may be suspended if he did not partake in the supplementary election.

Tony Nwoye has refused every offer including ministerial position and more than 2 billion Naira from the federal government to declare that the election is free and fair and to participate in the supplementary election. According to our source, it was revealed that PDP said that they may have no other option than to suspend Tony Nwoye after the supplementary election for anti party activities. His crime and anti party activities is for not agreeing with PDP headquarters that the election is free and fair. Tony Nwoye on his own part has also threatened that if he is suspended that he may be forced to bear witness for the APC party in the court and reveal how the PDP rigged the election for APGA.

APC is consulting with a team of respected senior advocates in the country to take legal action against the INEC. Our source revealed that APC may sue the INEC in the court for the flawed election the organization conducted in Anambra state and also sue APGA party in the court for fielding a candidate (Obiano) with multiple voter registration. With the information that APC might sue Obiano and APGA in the court for multiple voters registration, the APGA party was prompted to hurriedly asked Uche Ekwunife a member APGA to sue the APGA party on the charges of multiple voter registration and to scuttle the case in the court and keep it in the court as long as possible to prevent APC from sueing the APGA on the same charges since the case is already in the court. However, the APC and their team of Lawyers are still studying the moves of APGA and Uche Ekwunife on the false legal action against their own candidate (Obiana) and APGA party.

Again, There is also fear among the APGA party that Uche Ekwunife might one day change her mind if she sees that she can really win the court case and decides to back out from her agreement with APGA party. This fear stems from her hunger to be the governor of Anambra state and her untrustworthy when it comes to politics and power. Some in APGA has already started to call for the withdraw of case to use a trusted person in the party, but Peter Obi insisted on Uche Ekwunife as the best Joker for the job.

PoliticsIgbo Should Bid For 2015 Presidency.....balarabe Musa by emrall(op): 6:02am On Nov 28, 2013
IGBO SHOULD BID FOR 2015 PRESIDENCY.....Balarabe Musa

THE ONLY CREDIBLE CANDIDATES IN IGBO LAND are Soludo, Jim Nwobodo, Ndubisi Kanu, Emeka Anyaoku. Patrick Okedinachi Utomi, Commodore Chief Ebitu Ukiwe, General Chikadibia Obiakor, Dora Nkem Akunyili, Obiageli Ezekwesili, Ben Obi and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

From ROMANUS UGWU, Abuja

Second republic Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, has argued that lack of credible candidates for the 2015 Presidential election, has made it imperative for a candidate of Igbo extraction to stake a claim presidency in 2015.

The chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), who dropped the hint in his keynote address in a dialogue conference organised by a political pressure group, the South-east Forum in Abuja on Tuesday, however urged Ndigbo to forge regional unity amongst themselves ahead of the 2015 Presidential election.

While arguing that Ndigbo stand a bright chance provided they present a nationally electable candidate acceptable to the other geo-political zones, he warned that ethnic group could win election on its own.

“Fortunately for the Igbos, there is no ethnic nationality or region or zone or state that can boast of a candidate with true national appeal ahead of the 2015 Presidential elections that will emerge towards the middle of 2014 perhaps.

“Unlike during the first and the second republic where there was at any time a number of leaders, each of whom, had at least reasonable national appeal, the political system has been destroyed.

This is an opportunity for every section of Nigeria, wishing for the presidency in 2015. The challenge for the Igbos, is to be more realistic and present a candidate who is not only an Igbo-man but more importantly a patriotic Nigeria who understand the negative state of the nation, the root of it and who is credible, experience and capable. “It is also important that Ndigbo present a person who is electable. If you don’t present an electable person, you will find that in spite of the privilege of having to produce the president in view of the zoning formalized by the PDP and practiced by all the political parties before that candidate can win, he must be the right person. If he is not the right person he will not win because no section of the country can win the presidential election alone,” he noted.

PoliticsIs Our Leadership Position Our Personal Property? by emrall(op): 8:34am On Nov 27, 2013
I had a good laugh the first time I heard this phrase. It had been written behind a vehicle. Position is not property; what could it really mean? But by and by, each day, this word keeps getting meaning. Whenever I consider several issues affecting our society, I cannot help but side with the originator of this phrase. Position is not property!

Let us take a critical look at our politicians and noble Nigerian leaders. We keep encountering all sorts of leadership, better called, dictators, and each time, we cannot help but ask ourselves if it is worth it at all. Why should people go through all kinds of abuse, attacks, or oppressions, just to hold on to power? Is it really worth it? Is it in any case by force, as most of us would bluntly put it? Is it by force? After all, position is not property! For some people however, position is by all standards, a property!

Position in this case represents a social status; a leadership position. It can be a leadership position in politics, at work, in church, in our local community, to mention but a few. Position is not property, simply means that it is not permanent, however permanent it might seem. Death in itself makes that impossible.

The problem is that in our world, whenever someone is given a kind of leadership position, it becomes the beginning of several unfortunate incidents for the very people who help secure that position. Power is corruptive, and so is position. As soon as someone is given a leadership position, it becomes an opportunity to trample on others. It becomes an opportunity to bully, intimidate, harass, abuse, punish, imprison, torture, and mostly, cause fear and panic. Yes, people thrive on fear, and that is their weapon. They use our vulnerability and defenselessness to their advantage.

In our various workplaces, such is our stories. We constantly encounter such people in the form of our immediate bosses, and even colleagues. Most people have several gruesome stories of abuse to be shared. The problem is that fear prevents us from coming out; prisoners of the fear of the consequences.

In our various homes, such are our stories; stories of abuse, stories of husbands and wives who seem to be in control and hence, turned tyrants overnight. Our relatives are at our mercy, and so are our house helps.

Our churches are also not ruled out. These days, the most unfortunate and sometimes humiliating stories are being heard from our spiritual centers.

How long can a person remain in charge? Situations change each day! Position is not property! It can never be permanent! Methuselah of the Holy book is an attestation. Although the oldest that lived, he still died! Like the Philosopher, it is all vanity! What I cannot understand is the fact that most people are forgetful of the fact that several others have come and gone, who have enjoyed that very position. Where are they now? Do we even stop to ask ourselves these questions at times?

Leadership is a huge responsibility! It is a position of service, and not an opportunity to put others to servitude. The greatest should always be the least.

This message goes to our leadership, whichever form it would take. This country needs able-bodied men and women who are willing to sacrifice much more than is being done if indeed, we want to progress as a people. The caliber of leadership we keep encountering raises huge questions.

As soon as an ordinary person is given a leadership position, this person changes into extraordinary. The same person who barely an hour ago was friendly, suddenly starts walking with the nose pointed in the air, all arms stretch out sideways, as they walk. People virtually have to run after them, just to get a chance to talk to them. To make a mere appointment takes heaven for the fortunate ones; for others, impossible!

Each day, I keep asking myself one question. What would God do? What do we expect of God, if ordinary human beings are asking for so much? If it takes several weeks of appointments, through several channels, just to meet with one person; how many years then, must it take for us to speak to God? We keep idolizing people each day. The same goes for our so-called celebrities!

Let us remember, that just as quickly as we arrived, we would equally depart! Position is not property! I therefore side with one great man for his greatest remark; No condition is permanent! Yes, today, the spotlight is on you. Just as you had the opportunity today, it would definitely be some other persons turn tomorrow. Position is not property. We leave everything behind in death; not even the flesh, do we take along.

PoliticsAnambra Guber Result: Please Help Me Out With This Inec Mathmatics by emrall(op): 11:07am On Nov 25, 2013
PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS INEC MATHMATICS

The Returning Officer, James Okueke, who released results for the 21 councils of the state, said the front runner and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Willy Obiano could not be pronounced outright winner as the margin between him the first runner-up, Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was less than the total number of registered voters in the areas where voting never took place on Saturday.

According to available results, APGA polled 174,710 votes, PDP has 94,956 votes, APC 92,300 votes and Labour Party 37,446 votes to emerge first, second, third and fourth positions in that order.

According to Okueke, a total of 429,554 votes were cast, out of which 113,013 ballots were rejected, noting that the margin between the APGA and PDP candidates was 79,774 votes, thereby making it impossible for any one to be declared winner at this stage pending when supplementary election holds in the affected wards and units across the state .

Total number of votes cast................ 429,554
Total number of ballots rejected...........113,013
................................................................................
Total valid accepted by INEC.................316,541 vald votes
................................................................................

APGA polled.................................. 174,710
PDP polled.......................................94,956
APC polled.......................................92,300
Labour Party polled...........................37,446
.................................................................................
Total..............................................399,412
..................................................................................

The total party polls are greater than the total number of votes accepted by INEC by 82871 votes. Therefore, where did this 82871 votes came from? I am kind of confused. I want somebody to help me out.

PoliticsPaffcomm Warning To Nigeria National Assembly Part 1 by emrall(op): 12:50pm On Nov 24, 2013
Paffcomm has issued a warning to the Nigeria national LawMakers that the organization will rally Nigerians together to challenge them if they pass the bill that will allow them to have foreign bank accounts while in office. The warning which was issued yesterday by the president of the Paffcomm Mr. Kanayo Anene said that it has come to the knowledge of the organization that the Law Maker are vigorously working to pass the bill that legitimize siphoning of Nigeria money outside the country. The president said Nigerians have many pressing problems greater than foreign accounts. He advised the national assembly to discuss on the "Nigerians Demands" which the organization sent to the National Assembly and the president of Nigeria last year 2012. Among the demands are:

NIGERIA DEMAND ON AGRICULTURE AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY IN FOOD PRODUCTION

NIGERIANS DEMAND ON CONSTITUENCY DEVELOMENT PROJECT FUND
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2012/10/nigerians-demand-on-constituency-develoment-project-fund2.html
NIGERIANS DEMAND FROM THE GOVERNMENT ON CORRUPTION
NIGERIANS DEMAND FROM THE GOVERNMENT ON UNIVERSITY AND RESEARCH AND NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE
NIGERIANS DEMAND ON ETHNICITY AND TRIBALISM
http://www.paffcomm.com/nigerians-demand.html

It is unfortunate that while Paffcomm was engulfed with the coverage of Anambra gubernatorial election another sinister event was fast developing in the country. Invent that could destroy all the fabrics of this great nation and give a legal backing to massive corruption in our country Nigeria. The delay to conclude the Anambra state election has taken much of our time to go back to the national issues affecting the country. However, due to the magnitude of the present issue about to befall the country we will take a little break to report on national issues. Our agents will be monitoring the developments in the Anambra state gubernatorial election.

You may recall that Paffcomm published an article on Uche Ekwunife, an article titled THE GOD ALMIGHTY AND SLAVE MASTER UCHE EKWUNIFE PART 2. Uche Ekwunife is representing Anocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia District. She is the chairman of Environment and member to other committees.
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/07/the-god-almighty-and-slave-master-uche-ekwunife-part-2.html.

In the article we said that Uche Ekwunife sponsored a bill to allow elected official to have foriegn bank account (http://www.nassnig.org/nass2/legislation2.php?search=TO+PERMIT+PUBLIC+OFFICERS+TO+MAINTAIN+OR+OPERATE+A+BANK+ACCOUNT+IN+ANY+COUNTRY+OUTSIDE+NIGERIA&Submit=Search. The bill is as follows

HB 184 A Bill FOR AN ACT TO ALTER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLiC OF NIGERIA, 1999 TO PERMIT PUBLiC OFFICERS TO MAINTAIN OR OPERATE A BANK ACCOUNT IN ANY COUNTRY
OUTSIDE NIGERIA; AND FOR RELATED MATTERS Sponsored by Hon. Uche Lilian Ekwunije...Year: 2012
BE IT ENACTED by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as follows:
1. The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (in this Bill referred to as "the Constitution "wink is aItered as set out in th is Act.
2. Part ) of the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution on Code of Conduct for Public Officers is altered by deleting paragraph 3.
3. This Bill may be cited as the Constitution of the Federal Republic ofNigeria, 1999 (Fifth Alteration) Bill, 20 II.
EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM
This Bill seeks to alter the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, in order to delete the provision in the Code of Conduct for public officers which forbids them from maintaining and operating a bank account in a bank outside Nigeria.

The Bill as we report now is about to be passed into LAW by Nigeria national assembly which will allow our elected officers to legally have a foreign account where our money will be siphoned. It's unfortunate that even with the law banning the elected officers from having a foreign account they are still finding ways to open accounts in different countries all over the world.
It is clear that the legal backing the lawmakers are trying to put in place to siphon our wealth is certainly going to spell a doom for country. http://www.punchng.com/news/reps-move-to-allow-public-officers-operate-foreign-accounts-2/

Paffcomm call for all Nigerians to condemn the action and stand up against it. Paffcomm have been screaming through our articles the atrocities happening in our national assembly, but sometimes it looks like nobody listens. Sometime we feel we are alone in the fight against corruption in this country. Presumably, many Nigerians may have been tired of complaining as we too in the Paffcomm, but this is exactly what those criminals in our national assembly want from us. They want us to be tired of complaining so that they can be left alone to siphon our country dry. Here are the banks where our money are siphoned:

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, ANZ, London Branch; Bank Len, Zurich; Bankers Trust Company, London; Bankers Trust Company, Frankfurt; Bankers Trust Company, New York; Banque Barring Brothers, Geneva; Bank in Liechtenstein A. G. Vaduz; Barclays Bank, New York; Barclays Bank, London; Banque Edouard Constant, General; Banque Nationale De Paris, Geneva; Banque Nationale De Paris, London; Banque Nationale De Paris, Basle; Citibank N. A. London; Citibank N. A. New York; Citibank N. A. Luxembourg; Citibank Zurich; Credit Lyonnais , New York; Credit Suisse , New York; Credit Suisse, General; Credit Suisse, Zurich; Deutche Morgan Grenfell, Jersey; FIBI Bank (Schweiz) A. G. Zurich; First Bank of Boston , London; Goldman Sachs and Company, Zurich; Gothard Bank, Geneva; LGT Liechtenstein Bank, Vaduz; Liechtenstein Landesbank, Vaduz; M. M. Warburg and Company, Luxembourg; M. M. Warburg and Company,Zurich; M. M. Warburg and Company, Hamburg; Merrill Lynch Bank, New York; Merrill Lynch Bank, Geneva; Midland Bank, London; National Westminister Bank, London; Paribus, London; Paribus, Geneva; Royal Bank of Scotland , Leeds; Standard Bank London Limited, London; UBS AG, Zurich; UBS AG, Geneva; Union Bancaire Privee, Geneva; Union Bancaire Privee, London; London Branch; Verwaltungs Und Private Bank A. G., Vaduz; and ANZ, New York; ANZ, Frankfurt. Source: Tell Magazine, October 7, 2002.

These banks are the keeper of Nigerian stolen monies. All the Law Makers in Nigeria have secret accounts in these banks. These banks are where our constituency development funds are hidden by the people we voted in to represent us in the national assembly. Even though the amount they receive as salaries and allawances are the highest in the whole wide world. The amount our national assembly receives in the constituency development fund as follows: Each 360 members of the House of Representatives received N 40 million as the amount due to them as allocation for constituency project quarterly making a total of N 160 million every year, each of the 109 senator takes N 60 million as constituency project allocation for each quarter of the year, totaling N 240 million a year. If you add N160 million a year in four years, each Rep will be receiving N640 million while N240 million a year for each senator in four years were N960 million. The question is where is the money invested in our constituencies? None! save for the few bore holes and some classroom block some of the Law Makers will point at as where the money was spent while the rest of the money goes into their secret foreign bank accounts. Paffcomm has written a lot on the constituency development project fund established by the government to bring development closer to the people. Here is one of the articles http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2012/08/nigeria-constituency-development-project-fund-embedded-in-corruption.html

While our Law Makers are working hard day and night to pass Uche Ekwunife Bill that allows them to have foreign account to siphon our money. Ordinary Nigerians are languishing in poverty. In spite of the availability of tractors and other advanced farming technologies that can be employed to increase productivity, farmers in Nigerian still cultivate and harvest their crops with cutlasses and farming hoe, tools our forefathers used before they were colonized. Nigerians are still wallowing in hunger, disease, and poverty. A visit to rural parts of Nigeria shows that very little has changed economically since independence more than 50 years ago. Our lawmakers are pursuing foreign account in Nigeria where our children are hawking in the street because their parents cannot afford to pay levies and school fees even though oil money is coming in billions into Nigeria. Nigeria where children are dropping out of school every day because of economic hardship. Nigeria where our graduates are roaming the streets because of lack of jobs. Nigeria where our graduates have been forced by joblessness to turn to armed robbers, 419, kidnappers, Drug dealers, Bako Bako haram, etc., while our lawmakers are buying properties around the world. Nigeria where half of the luxury buildings, resorts and hotels in Dubai are owned by our politicians and the so-called leaders.
To be continued

PoliticsHow Will Ndigbo Approach Other Nigerians to Vote for an Igbo Presidency? by emrall(op):
A COMMENT SENT TO US BY AN AGGRIEVED LADY

I was so disappointed in the politics of division that played out in anambra.

Catholic vs other faiths. Thank God no muslim (islam) mix in the equation.

Ngige is good but joined Awolowo people who killed our people.

El-Rufai has no right to be in Anambra (even though Anambra is part of Nigeria and not Biafra).

APC is Yoruba party. I cannot vote for Bako Haram and the people that killed ndigbo.

PDP is Hausa party. I cannot vote for Hausas that killed us during the war.

In 1989. NPP won States like Old Anambra, Old Plateau State, Old Rivers State, Old Imo State and would have won the Old kaduna and kano state had Zik and Waziri Ibrahim been able to resolve the dissagreement between them that led Waziri group to seperate from NPP. NPP won many States and National assembly seats across the nation including: Lagos State, Kano State, Kaduna State and many others.

The problem now is, how would Igbos approach other Nigerians in future to solicit for their votes to produce an Igbo president of Nigeria with these level of tribal and religious hatred zooming out not only from some ordinary Igbo people, but also from some of the leaders of our Igbo nation? Honestly, I fear for the safety of our brothers and sisters in the West and in the North. If the west can tolerate the unprintable hate speeches, what about the vulnerable north? Whatever happens to Igbos in the north or in the west is on Peter Obi's head. We thank you Paffcomm for being the first media that saw the tribal and hates comments engulfing the Anambra state governorship campaign. Since then you have tried to calm frayed nerves of our brothers and sisters of other ethnic groups and regions. Through your posts you have made them to understand that their are still some responsible and civilised Igbos who deplores the hate comments.

Thank you and God bless.

PoliticsJaga-jega Conduct Of A Jegalized Election. by emrall(op): 9:33am On Nov 21, 2013
INEC Chickened Out from Declaring Obiano winner. They are clever not to have declared Obiano the winner because they would have paid billions of Naira in court cases that will go against them. Chief Wille Obiano the acclaimed winner and who is said to have the majority votes of 174,710. While PDP had 94956 and APC had 92300. Indicating that the total numbers of rigged, but nullified votes were more than the difference between the numbers of votes cast for the winner and the runner up of this election according to the State INEC official who read the results at about 6am Monday morning.

The simple interpretation of this is that it is impossible for APGA to win when the genuine votes from places where elections were rigged and canceled are counted. Over to you INEC for these jaga-jega conduct of a jegalized election. Though we already know that the election is as good as cancelled. Whether you like it or not the game is over.

If INEC declares Willie Obiano today as the winner, for-sure, the court will throw him out from the window, which will lead to a protracted legal battle, with Anambra state not having a governor. Like I said earlier the speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly should start getting prepared to take over the governorship seat from Peter Obi when he steps down in a few months time. You can be sure that this court case will be different from the last Ngige and Obi court battle.

Looking forward to when the new Anambra state gubernatorial election will be held. I advise APGA to prepare for a new election where Obiano will win convincingly if he is really sure that Anambra people love him, but if he insists on this rigged election I can assure you he will only smell the seat, but will not see it or sit long in the office before court throws him out. Please remember to tell Onukagu and Co, that as they are enjoying the millions given to them, they should also always look behind because the Law enforcement will be coming after them.

Again, tell Peter Obi, that Anambra is too big for him to put in the pocket. He is not yet a King maker and you don't buy it with money. It is merited. The King makers are not the Ubahs or the Arthor Ezes or you the Obis or the Ngiges. Young man! Tread softly, TUPU ITAKA OFOR. But if you insist to continue with this particular rigged election, carry on! Let us see where it end. A word is enough for the wise.

PoliticsPaffcomm Official Statement On The Anambra State Election by emrall(op): 7:02pm On Nov 19, 2013
Risen from a meeting of the Paffcomm Elders yesterday. A meeting held to deliberate on the state of the nation and the Anambra State Guber election held on the 16th Nov 2013. The organization said that the recently held election had been a total mess and a disgrace to INEC and the Federal government of Nigeria. The organization also deplores the tribal rhetoric and sentiments used during the campaign and warned that such rhetoric can have adverse effects on our people in those regions.

The Spokesman of the organization said that in as much as we supports the president, we shall not hesitate to condemn the way he handled the Anambra state election and his tactics to deny ndigbo the presidential seat. We, therefore, ask him to desist from interfering in state elections and using Anambra state as a testing ground for 2015 rigging formula and also to stop trying to deny ndigbo the chance to occupy the presidential seat of the government comes 2019. The organization reminded the president that it is ndigbo that made him the president of the country and therefore, should not pay ndigbo back by denying them the presidency comes 2019. The organization said that the so-called Anambra election was not about the governorship seat, but to deny ndigbo the presidency. Many ordinary Anambrarian were made to believe that the war was about the Anambra state highest seat, but the ironic thing is that the war is far from Anambra state gubernatorial seat, but a conspiracy hatched from the federal and selfish Anambra state government to deny and kill ndigbo aspiration to the presidential seat of Nigeria Government.

The Spokesman said that was the reason the PDP party nomination was delayed to until a week to the election to make sure that PDP fails in Anambra state and gives the north chance to clinch the exalted position once again in 2019. That was the reason the tribal sentiment and religious rhetoric were introduced into the campaign to create animosity and heighten the cold war between the west and the east and break the already fragile relationship and the bridge which took the Igbo elders and Yoruba elders years to build between the two major ethnic groups since after the civil war. The creation of discord between Igbo and Yoruba was once tried by using Fani Kayode to destroy the relationship, but he was ignored by the Yorubas and Fashola himself who tendered an unreserved apology to ndigbo for the deportation of ndigbo from Lagos state.

Paffcomm has been in the forefront of demanding for the right of ndigbo in this country. We do that through many articles we have written to expose the ill treatment against ndigbo. We exposed the grand style of Lagos state government to seize the properties of ndigbo in Lagos state. We have written many articles on the suffering of ndigbo in Nigeria, but we do it without any insult on the other ethnic groups. Among the articles includes:

http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/08/the-castration-of-the-ibos-in-their-fathers-land-part-2.html
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/09/incompetence-of-the-ohaneze-ndigbo-to-lead-ndigbo.html

http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/09/visionless-and-misappropriation-impediment-to-south-east-development.html

The organization calls on Anambra people to remain calm and not allow anybody to use them to cause chaos in the state. The Spokesman of the organization said that the organization does not support any political party or candidate, but the organisation will not sit and watch the lives of ndigbo in other regions of Nigeria put in danger due to tribal remarks emanating from APGA against the APC party. Our intention is to bridge the gap being created by such tribal rhetoric. The organization has never been a fan of Ngige hence our many critical articles on his administration and in the Senate. You may recall that Paffcomm is the first organization that raised alarm on Ngige and constituency development fund and not being able to sponsor a bill in the Senate house. Here are the articles:

http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/07/ngige-part-i.html
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/07/ngige-part-2.html
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/07/ngige-part-3.html
http://www.paffcomm.com/1/post/2013/07/ngige-part-4.html

Though, our organization is very critical on Ngige, however, we will not allow the APGA party and Peter Obi, overzealous religious and tribal rhetoric campaigns hurt our people in the west and in the north part of the country for his mere selfish and personal ambitions. We call on Governor Peter Obi to tender an unreserved apology to El-Rufai for putting him under house arrest in Anambra state and asking him to go back to his state Katsina. We also call that a new voter registration and a new Guber election are held in Anambra state without interference from the state governor or the federal government. This is our stand, and this is the stand we are going to maintain until the tribal rhetoric in Anambra campaign is stopped.
May God Bless You All.

PoliticsThe Anambra Guber Election Massive And Open Rigging Divdes PDP. by emrall(op): 11:08am On Nov 18, 2013
It is unfortunate that Tony Nwoye was used as a stooge by PDP to rig the election for APGA in accordance with an agreement entered by the president and some click of PDP high hierarchy. Our sources revealed that Tony Nwoye was unaware of the latest agreement reached between APGA and PDP party to install APGA once again in Anambra state by using him and PDP to rig the election. It was also revealed that the PDP had asked Nwoye to withdraw his statement that the election was rigged and to commend INEC which Nwoye, for the time being, had refused. You may recall that the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Mr. Olisa Metuh, in Abuja, on Sunday commended INEC for a job-well-done. He also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for providing adequate security and the enabling environment for credible, free and fair election in the state. Metuh, expressed satisfaction that in spite of the alleged massive importation of thugs and plots by APC to introduce violence to disrupt and rig the election, the process was conducted peacefully. He also commended the PDP candidate, Mr. Nwoye, for his “resilience, grass-roots appeal and credible outing.”

Meanwhile, the national leadership of The People Democratic Party, PDP and its candidate in the election, Comrade Tony Nwoye are presently divided over the conduct of the poll. While the PDP praised the poll for being well conducted, Nwoye at a press conference in Awka denounced the poll as rigged, vindicating Paffcomm once again that we are right in our Facebook posts titled BREAKING NEWS (PETER OBI MAY FINALLY SURRENDER APGA TO PDP) on. November 6, 2013 at 11:48pm and another is the (BREAKING NEWS: UPDATE ON PETER OBI MAY SURRENDER APGA TO PDP) on November 8, 2013 at 6:21pm.

It was also revealed that the massive rigging in Anambra Guber race had created division within the PDP party in Anambra state, and the division has as well spread to the high hierarchies within the party. The information also disclosed that the founder of PDP party Chief Dr. Alex Ekwueme was visibly angry with PDP when he learnt of the plan to rig the election in favor of PDP, though, it was too late for him to change anything at that pointing time. It was also disclosed that PDP members in favor agreement said that had PDP not allied with APGA to rig the election that APC would have carried the day, which would have been a big shame to PDP. They argued that it was the only option left for the PDP given that what they saw on the ground did not show any hope of PDP winning the election due to the prolong court case that denied the party to start campaigning on time like other parties. However, the other division of PDP disagreed with that assertion. They argued that PDP should have rigged the election in favor of PDP instead of APGA. Some of them expressed their disgust with how PDP handled Anambra state election insinuating that there must be a hidden agenda which has not been disclosed yet.

However, our source disclosed that the hidden agenda is not unconnected with the president agreement with the north to hand the presidency back to north on the condition that he should be allowed to run for second tenure and hand over to the north in 2019. They said that to allow PDP to win Anambra state would automatically give ndigbo the leverage and position them to agitate for Igbo presidency in 2019 under PDP. Anambra state is regarded as the leader of all Igbo states which has produced eminent people like Anyoku, Okonjo Soludo and Ekwueme who is also the founder of the ruling party PDP. Therefore, with APGA in the government of Anambra state ndigbo has lost the chance of Igbo presidency under PDP. Information reaching us also disclosed that Tony Nwoye and LP candidate has as well refused billions Naira offered to them by the APGA and PDP to stop them from joining forces with APC in the court as APGA is afraid that it may lead to the cancellation of election. However, there is every tendency that they will accept the monetary offer if APGA and PDP agree with their demands, which include total refund of all their expenses during the election and compensation and allocation of some cabinet offices. Other demands not yet available to us. Presently, PDP has systematically denounce their candidate Tony Nwoye and may also deny him funding for his court case against INEC and APGA. It will not be out of place if we say that Tony Nwoye is now standing alone "MAN ALONE."

Furthermore, Ngige should have a plan B if he decides to go to court as his partners PDP and LP candidates may one-day desert him if their demands are met. More so, we advise him to think hard before going to court and determine if going to court will have an adverse effect on Anambra state and the people because if the election is nullified the leadership of the state will go to the speaker of the house until a new election is held. Therefore, it will be good to have the interest of the state first in every step he wants to take to seek justice for the biggest rigging in the history since the creation of Anambra state.

PoliticsPaffcomm Is Vindicated Again by emrall(op): 1:45pm On Nov 17, 2013
Paffcomm did say that only a massive rigging can stop Ngige. As it seems now it looks like we are vindicated. Though, election is still on going in some areas, but it is crystal clear that the election is heavily rigged. In one of our posts on the Facebook on November 13th, 2013 at 6:48pm titled INEC INSINCERITY IN ANAMBRA POLL MAY LEAD TO MASSIVE RIGGING AND LOSS OF LIVES. We exposed how the election will be rigged which includes: APGA members infiltration into other front runner's parties as card carrying members to cause confusion during voting in their strongholds and constituencies which will lead to the cancelation of polls in those areas.

Other plans are as follows late or non-delivery of voting materials to opposition strongholds. The use of the police and some MASSOB members loyal to APGA to intimidate voters. Sloppy accreditation process. Massive thumb-printing of ballot papers in secret locations. We also warned that Governor Peter Obi in his effort to see that his Fidelity bank did not fall has personally constituted a committee within the APGA party chaired by himself to plot ways to rig the election in favor of APGA. We said that the Information we received discloses that some of the rigging plans is already being carried out with the connivance and the help of some important INEC staff that were bought over with huge sums of money that runs into millions of Naira.

The PDP and APGA agreement is said to be holding tight. We thought that the agreement is broken due to Peter Obi's refusal to allow Nwoye to take the first shot at Anambra seat of government. Honestly, we did not know that the agreement was still on and that the president would allow APGA to take the first short while PDP take the second shot in next four years. It was a cleaver hidden Joker the APGA used to their advantage. Our source revealed that the president later succumbed to Peter Obi's proposal resulting to the use of PDP to rig out APC in many local government area of State. The rigging was so much that there was no way APC could have controlled it. It was coming from every angle that at a time the monitoring teams from across the nation and Europe got tired of the whole exercise.

The most frightening is the hotel arrest El-Rufai and the utterances of our governor on El-Rufai. It is very bad that Peter Obi would because of Fidelity Bank growth at the expense of Anambra money endanger the lives of ndigbo in southwest and north. We are still struggling with Bako Haram mayhem on ndigbo and Obi wants to add another problem by asking El-Rufai to go back to his state Katsina. I do not think that such an utterance is different from deportation of ndigbo from Lagos. El- Rufai is the Protem National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress and with that office in APC party, he is free to move around the state to monitor how the election is going on in the state because his party is involed.

Therefore, for a governor of a state to ask El-Rufai to go back to his state and also put him under house arrest is uncalled for and a danger to ndigbo in southwest and north of the country. It is unfortunate that the same Obi who has never for one day condemned the killing of ndigbo in the northern part of the country is now trying to create another problem for ndigbo in those places. Therefore, Paffcomm wants to use this opportunity to warn ndigbo in southwest and north to be wary of how they move around in those states as Peter Obi has created another animosity with his actions and utterances against APC and their Protem National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress. Peter Obi has finally made the Anambra election a tribal election. However, we are asking our Yoruba and Hausa brothers and sisters to please disregard Obi's unintended utterances and actions against El-Rufai and APC party in Anambra State.

We also want to use this opportunity to advise Anambra people to accept whoever is brought out by INEC as the winner of the gubernatorial race. It will not be good for us to start fighting against ourselves because of governorship of Anambra state even though we know that as soon as they get there they will forget whatever promises they made to us and start filling their pockets. Please let us eschew bickering and violence and support the new governor. Politics has no lasting enemy. The only thing we can do is to pray for whoever will be the governor for God's guidance and wisdom to govern the state with fear of God. We also want to advise ndigbo to mind the way we use words against other tribes and to also remember our people who are in those region doing businesses as our utterances and actions could lead to a breakdown of law against our people in those regions

Paffcomm promise to closely follow the new governor and investigate and expose social anomalies and ensure that you will know what is going on in Anambra State government.

PoliticsPaffcomm Final Opinion Poll On The Anambra Guber Race by emrall(op): 9:30am On Nov 15, 2013
A new Paffcommn telephone survey from Nov 10 to Nov 14, 2013 shows that 22% of Likely Voters would vote for the APC or PDP for Anambra governorship race if a free and fair election were held today, while 21% would choose the APGA and 20% for LP. Undecided voters 15%.

The reemergence of Tony Nwoye after wining for second time in the court and the presence of PDP killer squad campaign team from the federal government and including the president's campaign and presence in the state did not only create a big surge in PDP opinion poll from 13% to 22% but also usurped supporters from the front runners in the Guber race. APC went down by 3 points to be at par with PDP Tony Nwoye. APGA also went down by 2 points but maintain the second position. The LP went down by 5 points to 3rd position due to reduction in campaign momentum.

Presently it is difficult for one to say for sure who will emerge winner between APC and PDP as the race is very tight to predict. However, it is likely that APC may emerge the winner if a free and fair election is held in Anambra state. APGA is another serious contender and would have been the people's choice had the party presented a good candidate. Over reliance of Willie Obiano on Peter Obi is creating an impediment on his political campaign as many electorates see him as inexperience and a prop. Surprisingly Ifeanyi Uba at the tail end of his campaign drastically reduced the momentum at which he was going at the start of the campaign which has adversely affected his opinion poll. However, anything can happen in the race.

PoliticsANAMBRA ELECTION: Me I Still Deh Laugh! by emrall(op): 7:25am On Nov 14, 2013
BY BENISON NONSO EBUBEDIKE

To quote Obasanjo ”I dey laugh” Hahahahahahah! I got the news this morning that Anglican Bishops in Anambra rose from a meeting last night with a resolution to vote Tony Nwoye of the PDP who is an Anglican. Division between Zones and churches is one of Gov Obi’s legacies. Only days ago Obi urged Catholics in the State to ensure a Catholic Governor. Such primordial politics is not to be found in 21 Century where leaders are fighting to bring sides together but here is Peter Obi balkanizing Anambra because he wants to cover up his corruption and because he wants to plant his stooge, claiming that APGA is Igbo Party.

These murderers in Anambra started by using Ojukwu’s name for cheap propaganda and that a failing. A party that have been in power for eight years and have nothing to show for those years should bow their heads in shame. They should be pointing at their achievement in the last eight years and not shouting Ojukwu, catholic or zoning for their selfish need. Obi claims APGA is the hope of Ndi Igbo and a vehicle to realize the Igbo presidency ambition and therefore must be supported to win the upcoming Anambra governorship election. Yet he thinks he is making sense.

As much as I know that Obi is desperate to install his clueless stooge, I don’t expect him to be so dumb as not to know that Ngige is wiser than being a foolish NEXT Mall owner who is seeking a third term through a bingo. Obi claims APC is a foreign party and that he is a follower of Ojukwu, yet he is not aware of Ojukwu’s history.

Just to help him and his followers understand, Ojukwu when he came back from Ivory Coast, he joined NPN a party then referred to as Hausa party and not Zik’s NPP, because that for him was the only way to bring Ndi Igbo into national politics. Ojukwu when he died was honoured by Lagos state government, such a huge honour that makes you think Ojukwu was an Awori and founder of Lagos. Ojukwu in-spite of the war was a detribalized Nigerian and a friend of so many diverse Nigerians from every part of Nigeria. Ojukwu fought not to fester myopic ambition but to defend his people as it is expected of any leader to do. But after the war, he not only reconciled himself with the larger
Nigerian society, he also reconciled and reintegrated Ndi Igbo into the main polity.

In this case, if one praising Ojukwu today, it is also appropriate to applaud Ngige and Rochas, for their foresight in joining a national party that will help Ndi Igbo achieve their vision. APGA is Agulu People’s Party Association, run and owned by two Agulu indigenes. A party that claims to be an Igbo party that couldn’t accommodate an Abia man who was the founder, only because Obi was the governor of Anambra State and was funding the party, therefore anybody from any other state was not good enough to lead the party, not even if the person was the founder of the party.

Again Obi claims it is in the interest of Ndi igbo, but Peter Obi himself that is in APGA is GEJ’s errand boy, while Bianca is an Ambassador under a PDP government. And I ask! Is it just a platform to realize personal ambition in the name of Igbo people or is it truly an Igbo party? If APGA is an Igbo party, why is Chief Alex Ekwueme not there, why is Dr Orji Uzor Kalu not there Why is Senator Ken Nnamani not there and why are many other notable Igbo leaders not there?
Why is Obi and APGA not able to allow Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Dr Ifeany Ubah, Hon Ekwunife and many others the opportunity to contest under a free and fair atmosphere since they all Igbos? Why did Peter Obi insist on Willie Obiano his personal account officer and staff of his bank Fidelity Bank, a bank through which Peter Obi siphons monies belonging to Anambra people?

I have heard their stupid argument about Willie Obiano being so qualified having being a banker and Peter Obi’s Account Officer. And I ask! Is he more qualified than Professor Chukuma Soludo, who was not just a former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria; he was also a consultant to so many international agencies including the World Bank. Soludo went to Harvard and also lectures in Harvard; he has initiated so many great ideas across the world and was once awarded the honour of being the best Governor among all the central bank governors in the world. So, how much of qualification does Obiano has to compare with Soludo and what experience in governance does he possess that makes him the best Igbo man to rule Anambra if not that he helps Peter Obi to steal monies belong to Ndi Anambra as his account officer?

If APGA is in the interest of Igbos why did they not rise up to defend those Igbo young men who were murdered in cold blood and dumped at Ezu River? If APGA is for Ndi Igbo why will her governor Mr. Peter Obi order the Nigerian Police to shoot MASSOBIANs at sight? Why will a party that claims it will develop Igboland not able to do any tangible thing for Anambra in the last eight years except to build a brewery that will make Ndi Anambra look like a community of drunks. Why will APGA watch Peter Obi steal Anambra dry to go and build the biggest shopping mall in Africa in Abuja in his personal name while Onitsha is begging for such development, even with it being the second most viable commercial states in Nigeria, with enough traders to occupy three of such complexes? Why do APGA claim to be an Igbo party when Obi deceived his Igbo brother and owner of Manny Bank to come and partner with him and he ended up betraying him and the man died of heart attack while Obi becomes the owner of Fidelity Bank? Why Fidelity bank is sponsoring independent power projects outside Igboland including Lagos, to help them develop, they have not even done so in Anambra? Yet they say it is an Igbo party.

How foolish to advance such a myopic idea. Cheap sentiment and desperation on the part of Peter Obi and his co looters of Anambra state coffers makes APGA result to claims of being an Igbo party and representing Igbo interest. But we know it is out of desperation to have a stooge that will cover Obi’s criminal acts in government. Ngige remains the best candidate and APC governors are the best performing governors in Nigeria, tell me why we should support a non performing party and money launderers, who does not even have the slightest wisdom to invest what they looted from Anambra in Anambra?

PoliticsInec Insincerity In Anambra Poll May Lead To Massive Rigging And Loss Of Lives by emrall(op): 12:03pm On Nov 13, 2013
Our sources revealed that APGA members have infiltrated into other front runner's parties as card carrying members to cause confusion during voting in APC, PDP, LP strongholds and constituencies which will lead to the cancelation of polls in those areas and thereby give APGA a sufficient number of votes in their strongholds to win the election. Other plans are as follows late or non-delivery of voting materials to opposition strongholds. The use of the police and some MASSOB members loyal to APGA to intimidate voters. Sloppy accreditation process. Massive thumb-printing of ballot papers in secret locations.

Since the agreement of APGA and PDP on whom to produce the governor of Anambra state failed Peter Obi has been hatching every plan to see that Willie Obiano is elected the governor of Anambra state. Obi's back out from the agreement also led to the president's absent from Tony Nwoye's campaign. Our source revealed that the president is angry with Obi, but could do nothing as Obi was one the people that funded his campaign and also supported him in his problem with Governor Amechi. It is still uncertain if the president will enventually come to campaign for Tony Nwoye.

Obi refusal to abide with agreement is not unconnected with the Fidelity bank dealings with Anambra state which Obi feared that Tony Nwoye may expose the dealings and starve Fidelity bank of funds from Anambra state. It is also revealed that Governor Peter Obi is more concerned to protect the free funds from Anambra state to Fidelity bank than the development of the state itself. It is worthy to note that Anambra state funds have always been the lifeline of Fidelity bank. Presently, Fidelity bank uncertainty of making Obiano the governor of Anambra state is already hurting the bank as many customers of the bank are unsure of the future of bank if APGA fails to clinch the highest seat in Anambra state which also serves as the lifeline of the bank.

Governor Peter Obi in his effort to see that his bank did not fall has personally constituted a committee within the APGA party chaired by himself to plot ways to rig the election in favor of APGA. Information reaching us discloses that some of the rigging plan is already being carried out with the connivance and help of some important INEC staff that were bought over with huge sums of money. Paffcomm warns that the massive rigging may lead to bloodshed in the state and advise INEC to take this warning serous and do the right thing to avoid rigging and loss of lives in the state. We also advise the general public to go home immediately as soon as they cast their vote to avoid being caught up in the looming bloodshed in the state.

PoliticsIs Apga An Igbo Party Or Anambra State Party? by emrall(op): 1:01pm On Nov 12, 2013
Paffcomm observation indicated that APGA Igboness disappeared from the day the party won only two states out of Five states of Igboland. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Ojukwu died. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Bianka Ojukwu left the party to pick an ambassadorial job in PDP led government. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Okorocha left the party to join APC. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day the party lost all three of the senatorial seats and house of Rep seats in Anambra state. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Ojukwu children left the party to campaign for Ngige. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day it became Peter Obi private property. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Peter Obi disregarded Ojukwu's agreement after his death to implement his own personal agenda. APGA Igboness disappeared from the day Peter Obi started to embezzle Anambra state funds. Therefore, APGA is Anambra and Peter Obi's property and not ndigbo. Anambra can't produce a president of Nigeria with APGA party. We cannot satisfy Obi personal ambition to displease ourselves.

BY NNAMDI WIGWE

Recent political developments in the country, particularly the recent emergence of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the deepening rife in the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, have spurred lot of marginal issues, among which is the self-defeating proclivity of some vocal Igbo intellectuals and public affairs analysts to attach ethnic labels to political parties. Usually without any cogent or empirical reason, a party like PDP is freely donated to the Hausa-Fulani group or at times, to the entire Northern Nigeria. The newly formed APC, in the brilliant assessment of our Igbo political pundits is a Yoruba-Hausa party because the larger partners in the merger, the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and CPC, Congress for Progressive Change, derive their major support, respectively, from the West and one or two States in the North and APGA is proudly showcased as an Igbo party, obviously because of the involvement of the late great Igbo hero, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

Now, the question is whether, indeed, APGA is an Igbo party because an Igbo man, Chekwas Okorie, promoted it and got Emeka Ojukwu to be one of its prominent members? If yes, why is PDP not appropriated by Nd’Igbo? After all, can the history of PDP ever be written without mention of the yeoman’s role played by Dr. Alex Ekwueme, another great Igbo son and the first Vice-President of Nigeria? Or do our Igbo armchair political analysts assign nationality to political parties based on their electoral gains from across the country? If so, why then should APGA be referred to as an Igbo party when it could win only two states in the Igbo nation comprising five and two half-states, namely Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, as well as Rivers and Delta, with substantial Igbo native populations to make political impact if they can get their acts together.

Indeed, Lagos and Kano states have Igbo populations that can seriously send a frightful number of legislators into their respective Houses of Assembly. How effective is APGA in those states that have Igbo residents that rank second to the indigenes? In core Igbo land, otherwise known as the South-East geo-political zone, what impact does APGA have to be appropriated as an Igbo party? Except for sheer sentiments, it is actually unwise to box oneself into a corner and at the same time, aspire to the leadership of the whole country. If the two giant parties today, PDP and APC are voluntarily given away by Nd’Igbo to the North and the West, and apparently with the South-South also surrendered to them to share, why then should the Igbo man or woman ever hope to be a Nigerian President from his enclave of not just the South-East, but in fact, only Anambra State?

Imo State is gone since its APGA Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has joined APC, along with a sizeable faction of former APGA members. Anambra is going to the polls on Zik’s birthday, November 16, to elect a new Governor to replace Peter Obi, who is the “last man standing” among APGA greats. If the party returns a Governor to power, one can then safely describe APGA more as an Anambra party than an Igbo party. The party that we now call Igbo party has to justify that claim by winning at least four of the five core Igbo states in the next election, both Presidential, gubernatorial and legislative houses’ polls. And to those who say APGA is an Igbo party, does it ever occur to them that the party would not have been recognized by INEC as a sectional party?

PoliticsRevenue Received By Governor Peter Obi Of Anambra State. by emrall(op): 2:56pm On Nov 11, 2013
WE ARE SORRY THAT SOME OF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY OUR CRITICISM OF PETER OBI GOVERNANCE, BUT PAFFCOMM JUST CAN'T KEEP QUITE AND ALLOW CORRUPTION TO GO ON IN ANAMBRA STATE WITH IMPUNITY WITHOUT EXPOSING IT. PAFFCOMM LOVE APGA AS MUCH AS YOU DO, BUT THE CORRUPTION IN THE GOVERNANCE IS JUST TOO MUCH FOR US TO KEEP SILENCE AND WATCH THE LOVELY STATE DESTROYED BY GREED AND DECEIT. WE KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE CORRUPTION IN THE STATE GOVERNANCE, BUT WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO WRITE ALL WE KNOW IN ORDER NOT TO PUT CONFUSION IN THE STATE. WE WILL ONLY EXPOSE THE FEW WE ARE ALLOWED TO EXPOSE AND YOU MAKE THE JUDGMENT. PAFFCOMM THIRD ANAMBRA GUBER POLL WILL BE PUBLISHED SOON.

During Ngige 3 years as governor of Anambra state he raised Anambra’s IGR from N50 million monthly to N450 monthly within 33 months. In 8 years of Obi in the government he raised the IGR to N600 million monthly, but unfortunately Obi’s monthly and outrageous security vote of N500 million gulped the whole IGR leaving the state with only N100 million naira for expenditure. Another question is why did Obi IGR remained static at N600 million even though more business and companies were established and more taxes were introduced by Obi. It is expected that the IGR is suppose to increase by 400-500% during eight years of Obi's tenure. Our sources revealed that Anambra make about 2.5 billion Naira Internal generated revenue monthly.

The followings are budgetary allocations received by the Obi government in the last eight years:

2006 - 35.87 billion naira; 2007- 54.25 billion naira; 2008- 60.58 billion naira; 2009 - 75.53 billion naira; 2010 - 67 billion naira; 2011- 66.9 billion naira; 2012- 103.2 billion naira; 2013- 110.89 billion naira, totalling 603.42 billion naira after tax.

Add the money allocated to the state for conducting local govt election which Obi never conducted.
Add grants, loans, aid, ecology funds special funds of different kinds.
Where are all these monies? Where is it located in Anambra state soil because I can see none?

Available records show that Fidelity Bank was not able to post a profitable year until Governor Peter Obi’s accession to the seat of Governor in Anambra State. Nearly one year after Governor Peter Obi became governor, Fidelity Bank posted an increase of 219 per cent profit after tax for the third quarter ended March 31, 2007. Fidelity Bank’s growth remained astronomical in the following years. In 2013, Fidelity Bank announced a profit before tax of N11.2 billion for the half year ended 30th June, 2013, representing 13.3 percent growth over N9.88 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2012. In 2012, Fidelity Bank announced a growth of 608 percent in its profit after tax for the financial year ended December 31, 2012. Fidelity bank now occupies the sixth position in the Nigeria banking industry.

Obi before becoming the governor of Anambra state was rated between 3 to 4 billion Naira rich. Within 8 years of Obi in power as Anambra State governor, he is rated between 4-5 billion dollars richer. He was able to convince some of the gullible Igbos that Fidelity Bank is Igbo Bank. Therefore, Anambra money should be deposited in Igbo Bank. He sited an example with the WEMA bank as Yoruba Bank where the Yorubas State government deposits their state funds. However, last time I checked, Odua Investment Company Limited has 10% share of WEMA BANK. Odua Investment Company Limited is owned by five Yoruba state government comprising of Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti States while South east state has 0% in Fidelity bank

PoliticsPeter Obi Is Persecuting Anglicans And Pentecostals Churches --hon Odedo by emrall(op):
From GeoffreyAnyanwu, Awka
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/anambra-needs-change-rep-odedo/

Member, representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Charles C. Odedo, today continues his catalogue of reasons Anambra must have a change in governance and why his party, APC, willdefeat APGA on November 16.

You were highlighting the things the incumbent government is doing that according to you have necessitated change; do you still have more?

Yes, the issue of non-conduct of local government election is one that even members of APGA have joined hands with others to condemn their own government, because there is a point at which a man would say no to injustice even if it means losing his life. In the beginning, the APGA members thought it was politics but when after deceiving them twice and making them spend all their money, with some of them selling off their houses and even lands to pay Obi and his party APGA for the ticket of the party and he refused to conduct the election, they joined others to say that local government election must be conducted.

Remember also that the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh said it severally in the national dallies and at public functions he asked Obi to conduct the local government election so that the party will have honour as one that can deliver on its promises. Umeh said that was why Obi and those mismanaging the local government fund with him wanted him dead. Peter Obi's Government has refused to conduct local government election in almost eight years it has been in office. It is a government of deceit. They have fixed date for local Government election more than five times. Each time, they have failed to perform. There is now a new date of December, 2013. Is deceit
what they want to continue? Lets us watch and see.

Peter Obi runs his Government by donating money to institutions and even to private companies and buying them vehicles. We need a change so that Anambra state funds can be saved to give our people the much needed free education and bursary awards and also a reduction in the school fees, especially in higher institutions. Accountability demands that Government should be the one executing Government projects but now Peter Obi is just donating money and relying on beneficiaries to think, plan and execute or run the government for him. Mind you, this is against the law of public procurement and fiscal responsibility.

Two things stand clear in what Peter Obi and the APGA government is doing with the funds and destiny of Ndi Anambra. One, it is clear that the APGA government led by Obi has no agenda or has run short of ideas, hence the resort to sharing the state funds to groups and institutions to initiate projects and execute for government, whatever that project may be. Two, lack of vision and knowledge of good governance. But again in its "smartness", the APGA/Obi government failed to realize that the over 90 per cent of us, Anambrarians, are out here waiting and today they are talking of continuity of no account of local government funds for eight years. We say no to that. In fact, the tempo of the donations/money sharing has increased tremendously now that the election is around the corner.

Another great tragedy of Peter Obi's government is the religious tension that he has created in the state. He is practically persecuting Anglicans and pentecostals church memebers and this must change. here is what he said through his commisioner. Please click and read: http://www.punchng.com/news/anambra-obi-campaigns-for-catholic-governor/ Our people need to be dealt with not according to their religious belief but with fairness, and merit. The once religious harmony of the state is threatened by Peter Obi's administration which introduced religious politics in the state.

Why are you so confident that your party will win the November16, governorship election?

The coming election will be a landslide victory for our candidate, Senator (Dr.) Chris Nwabueze Ngige (Onwa) OON. I have gone round the state, everywhere you go, and it is the same story, "We need this man back, to come and salvage the state." Ngige's performance when he was Governor before is our greatest asset. This is a man who stood firm and made great sacrifices for the people of the state. He endangered his life and that of his family to salvage

Anambra state and liberated it from the clutches of those who held it at ransom. Our candidate, Ngige, is a man that has zero tolerance for low or no quality and corruption. He is an experienced administrator and an astute politician, who gave Anambra state hope and saved them from nightmares, hence he has earned their love and support which no one, no matter the level of campaign of calumny will take away from him. You earn the people's respect, love and sincere support; you neither buy nor force it, not even with donations.

Don't you think the Anambra North people's agitation and the governor's support will reduce your party's chances?

No, not at all, Anambra people want the best. Peter Obi's Government has not performed and therefore cannot influence who succeeds it. There is insecurity in the land, there is massive youth unemployment, and the education system is not working. This is the only state where workers do not receive minimum wage. An endorsement from a bad government will amount to nothing. It will be a landslide victory for Senator Ngige of APC. His experience and performance as former governor is our greatest strength. Our people want him. He is the best.

PoliticsAnambra Demand An Unreserved Apology From Obi And Obiano For The Uke Incident by emrall(op): 7:28am On Nov 10, 2013
Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, the chairman South-East chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria squarely lays the blame on Governor Obi and his entourage as the course of the mayhem in Uke crusade that led to the death of more than 30 innocent people that went to the crusade to commune with their God. According to Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma who also banned political campaigns in churches across the zone after the incident said, “It is my own duty as CAN chairman, South-East zone, to ban all politicians from attending our churches with their political teams for campaigns" he also said, “So it’s wrong to come into the church and begin to talk about manifestos and begin to campaign. It is not going to be acceptable anymore because it causes commotion and disrespect to one another.” The South-East CAN also asked the Federal Government to set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the remote causes of the incident. The organization said it was wrong for Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State to set up such panel, “as the governor cannot be a judge in his own case.”

An eye witness by By Comrade Aloysius Attah confirmed that Obi made a pledge of N5million as part of his bazaar support to the center coming up the next Thursday and for the rehabilitation of facilities at the adoration ground and also promised to asphalt roads leading to the adoration ground with drainage and erosion control facilities. He said he would have loved to attend the bazaar if not that he was traveling outside the country with President Jonathan within the same period. He also told Fr. Obimma to send a list of 20 indigent worshippers at the adoration ground to him to be sponsored on a pilgrimage at the holy land in the next two weeks.

Fr. Obimma also declared that God has shown him who will be the next governor of the state. Fr. Obimma said that he was shocked when he received the revelation on the anointed governor now in waiting after Obi and reminded the people on the need to pray for a violence free and successful election. He thereafter called out the President General of Uke community who extolled Obi’s virtues and later presented an award to the governor. Fr. Obimma later told Obi to kneel down and asked all the priests in attendance to raise their hands and pray for the governor.

Governor Peter went to the crusade with the APGA candidate Mr. Willie Obiano and Mr. Umeh the party chairman and many stalwarts of APGA in his entourage; all adorn in APGA campaign and party uniform. With this caliber of people one can easily understand that Obi did not go there to commune with his God but to canvass for votes. I hope you were not expecting the Bishop to call Obi out before you know he is directing his anger and blame towards Obi and his entourage and Uke Bishop for turning the crusade into a political arena and fund-raising and campaign venue for Obi and APGA party. No wonder the Bishop warned that CAN would sanction whatsoever church that violated the ban on political campaigns. Obi went on stage to read his party manifesto, which triggered the booing and shouting down the governor received from the congregation. Obi also made a donation of 5 million Naira and promised to sponsor 20 people from the crusade on pilgrimage to Israel and repair the road to the church which has been bad since Obi got into office. According to Obi, he said that he had attended the crusade for many years, which makes one to wonder why he has not seen the bad state of the road to repair it until just two weeks to the governorship election.

The most painful and annoying of it all is Obi denial of not having a hand in the waste of the lives of more than 30 innocent people. In a civilized world, Obi will be facing many court cases from the bereaved families demanding an answer to the untimely death of their beloved ones. An honest gentleman who values life will own up to his mistake and apologize to the people. There has been argument that APC members came with brooms and placards to the crusade probably to cause trouble for Obi. The question is. How did they know that Obi will attend the crusade? According to Obi himself, he said he received short notice from the parishioner who invited him. It was also said that Obi came into a crusade unannounced. Everyone in the crusade was surprised to see him. Therefore, how could the APC supporters have brought the brooms and placards when they did not know that Obi was going to attend the crusade?

Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, said “so it's wrong to come into the church and begin to talk about manifestos and begin to campaign. It is not going to be acceptable anymore because it causes a commotion and disrespect to one another.” Of course yes, if I go to church to commune with my God and somebody came to the pulpit to campaign, I too will be mad at the person that came to read a party manifesto to me in the church because I did not go to church to listen to campaign and fake promises of politicians but to listen to the preaching of the word of God. Obi went to the crusade just to campaign which resulted in being shouted down by the congregation and the booing may have flared Obi security agents who mixed up with the crowd, and they decided to man handle the congregation which led to the mayhem. Obi cannot go to such a place with such a large crowd in the middle of the night without. First of all, sending his security agent to join with the crowd and gather intelligence report for his own security. Therefore, Obi must apologize to the whole nation and Anambra state, in particular, for causing the death of innocent people.

The truth is that the Rev Fr knowing full well that his congregation belong to different political party should not have invited Obi to a crusade at this time of political campaign which Obi is openly campaigning for his party and flag bearer Obiano. More so, he should not have told the congregation about the god revelation to him in respect of the winner of the gubernatorial race when Obi is on the stage with him making donations and promises to the church. The Rev should also not have conferred Obi with honor in a crusade and in the middle of the night. Another is that Obi should have made the donations and the promises to the church in secret as his open donation might be seen as soliciting for votes to his party and candidate. Therefore, the Rev Fr and Governor Obi should apologize to the nation and Anambra people and the Uke people, in particular, for the costly mistake. Let us try not to mix politics with religion to make our state a safe place for everybody.

PoliticsGovernor Peter Obi And His Godson Willie Obiano Part 2 by emrall(op): 8:54am On Nov 09, 2013
For a political party to think of winning an election is to have a reliable voting block. In United State of America, the Democrats have African Americans. Hispanics, Asian Americans, and large number of the white youths as their voting block while the Republicans have the elderly whites and a small percentage of white youth, hence the reason the Republicans are losing the presidential seat. In the present Anambra state election, it seems to me that Obi has lost all his voting blocks hence the difficulties in selling his candidate Willie Obiano to the people of the state. Every effort to bring people to like Willie is hitting the brick wall. Anambra State has presently four main voting block, which is comprised of 1. Market men and women and village farmers. 2. The unemployed. 3. The state civil service workers. 4. The students. These blocks make the majority of Anambra state electorate. There are no doubts that the eight years of Obi as the governor of Anambra state have been a disappointment to the people and to the four voting block. The Catholic base which happened to vote for Obi in the last election due to Ojukwu's plea to the people seems now to have been lost too. Obi seems to have not been aware that the people have no more confidence in him, or perhaps he is carried away by APGA Internet campaign warriors whom most of them are not residing in Anambra state or in Nigeria.

The fall of APGA started when Obi refused to create jobs for the people instead he placed an embargo on the recruitment of workers into Anambra state civil service, which happened to be the only available place the unemployed can find a job. The embargo remained in place until last month when he lifted it for recruitment of workers as a way to canvass for votes. The odds against APGA are so many. Again, it is most certain that Anambra state civil service workers will not vote for APGA because of non of payment of their salaries as at when do. Sometimes, they are owed up to 5 months. To be honest, Anambra workers have suffered a lot in the hand of Obi. Sometimes, the workers have to go borrowing to put food on the table or to pay school fees for their wards or to take their sick loved ones to the hospital all because Obi refused to pay them their salaries.

Another voting block is the market men and women. This block will find it a hard task to cast their vote for Peter Obi because of the incessant taxation of many kinds the traders are subjected to pay and refusal to pay the tax, their wares will be confisticated, and sometime their shops are locked. The most annoying and pitiful of all these are the poor women selling ordinary tomatoes, crayfish and vegetables in the market that are also subjected to incessant taxation. The last tax introduced a few weeks ago was the Sanitation tax which forced the traders to match on protest to the government house Awka. The same market women and men are the ones taken the brunch of unemployment. When their children cannot get a job after education, the responsibility of their children care once again fall on the parents instead of the children caring for their parents. Another is the students. It is most likely that APGA will miss their vote in the sense that while tertiary institution fees of other states like Imo state, Abia state, etc. are coming down to 58 to 70 thousand Naira Anambra state tertiary institution fee is increasing to 120 thousand Naira and continue to increase.

Anambra unemployed graduates, which is the highest in Nigeria and in West Africa sub-region will not vote for APGA because while other states are trying to create employment for their University graduates obi is placing embargoes on employment into Anambra state civil service even though he did not create a single job for them to get employed to earn salaries and give a helping hand to their parents who sacrificed everything and sometime went borrowing to give them University education. According to an insider in the Anambra state government house, he said that during one of the meetings in the Anambra state house, a director in the ministry of education confronted Obi with the risen tertiary institution fee in the state Obi looked at him smiled and said, if the students cannot pay let them go and look for a job. It is not a must that everyone must attend university, and that it will also help to reduce graduate unemployment in the state. It was there that he told them that he was considering handing over the schools back to missionary to reduce the weight of teacher's salary payment on the state government. Six months later Obi handed some schools over to the missionaries.

Who among the Anambra unemployed graduates can come out and say he received a soft loan from the Anambra government to start up a business or a small-scale industry? None, because there is no such program in Anambra state. Which of our farmers has received a soft loan? None, because the program is only on the pages of newspapers. Who can point to one person employed in the Anambra civil service since Obi took office? None, because Obi placed an embargo in Anambra state civil-service employment.

Anambra state lacks security. Our children are afraid to come home because of kidnap and arm-robbery. In the past eight-year pipe born, water has not run in Awka the capital of the state. A newly constructed road is supposed to last 20 years, but roads constructed by Obi cannot stand two rainy season without being repaired and sometime remain unrepaired until it starts taking lives of motorists. The only visible thing he did in Awka the state capital for the eight years of his administration is the Teaching Hospital, which is not even well equipped. In the office as the governor of Anambra state Obi built a private Shopping Mall in Abuja and employed more than 5000 workers, which most of the workers are northerners. He also established a private brewery company in Onitsha and gave Anambra state less than 4% share. While he was building all these personal investment Anambra workers were owed five months salary. Not long ago Anambra workers took him to court over non-payment of salaries. Below is the court order to freeze Anambra account in Fidelity bank over non-payment of worker's Salaries by Gov Obi of Anambra State. (If you are a government worker under Obi government, you will know how much non-payment of salaries hurts) while the workers are suffering Fidelity Bank was doing business with their wages and making profit.

http://sunnewsonline.com/new/national/court-freezes-anambra-account-in-fidelity-bank/

Peter Obi said that paying elected local government official is a waste of money hence he refused to conduct an election that would have helped reduce the number of unemployed in Anambra state. It is like the old saying that when one crosses a bridge, he asks that the bridge be broken so that others do not cross. Is that not inhumanity to man and selfishness? Imagine the number of people the council election would have given employment, Imagine how many people would have afforded to put food on the table, for their children. Imagine how many children would have been able to go school had Obi conducted the election since eight years ago. Governor Obi which his duty is to provide jobs for the people denied the citizen's local government job on the ground that paying their salaries will be a waste of money. The same excuse he gave to deny the Anambrarians employment into Anambra state civil service.

The followings are budgetary allocations received by the Obi government in the last eight years:

2006 - 35.87 billion naira; 2007- 54.25 billion naira; 2008- 60.58 billion naira; 2009 - 75.53 billion naira; 2010 - 67 billion naira; 2011- 66.9 billion naira; 2012- 103.2 billion naira; 2013- 110.89 billion naira, totalling 603.42 billion naira after tax.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/01/fg-states-lgas-squander-n80-trn-in-9-years/.

He also recieved local government allocation, but due to our inability to find the current local govt allocation we dicided use the 2004 allocation of 1,169,882,344.37 billion naira to the state as an example.

Multiply 1,169,882,344.37 billion naira by 8 years of Obi in office. It will be equal to 9,359,068,654.96 billion Naira. Then. add to 603.42 billion naira state allocation of 8 years of Obi in office.

1,169,882,344.37 by 8 years= 9,359,068,654.96 billion Naira.
9,359,068,654.96 billion Naira + 603.42 billion naira after tax.=

Add internally generated revenue which is two times more than the federal allocation to the state
Add 2.8 billion Naira monthly OIL derivations to Anambra state
Add the money allocated to the state for conducting local govt election which Obi never conducted.

Odua Investment Company Limited is owned by five Yoruba state government comprising of Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti States while South east state has 0% in Fidelity bank.

Now that the Catholics Bishops and the priests have lost confidence in Obi due to his desperation that coursed the death of so many people in the Uke town crusade. It is obvious that he has lost his political base, which is the Catholic Church. For those who are protecting Obi as the course of the Uke town incidend, you may require to read this too http://www.punchng.com/news/anambra-obi-campaigns-for-catholic-governor/ Obi despiration to win the election to protect Anambra state dealing with Fidelity bank has no boundry. Obi sent his commisioner to go and campaign in the church just after few day his campaign in Uke church sent more than 30 people to grave. Even at warning of the President of Catholic church that politician should stay away from compaigning in the church Obi went ahead to canpaign in the church again. It was such desperation that caused the stampede and deaths at Uke Adoration Ground. Does Obi really have conscience?

He disobeyed Ojukwu's orders and agreement with him and also trying to force Obiano down our throats. Imagine Ojukwu children campaigning for Ngige against their father's party. This will tell you how much Obi bit the finger that fed him. Obi overrated himself, to the extent that he started believing that he is Ojukwu himself and that he has the same influence on the Igbos as Ojukwu that he went and brought his staff from the fidelity bank to come and govern Anambra state. He forgot that Anambra people did not vote for him, but rather they voted for Ojukwu. Peter Obi surrender to PDP will be his only option because APGA has no voting block and will never win the election. If he backs out from the agreement he will have himself to blame. Not only that APGA will lose Anambra state but Peter will lose political relevance in the state and in the country in general.

PoliticsBreaking News (update On Peter Obi May Surrender APGA To PDP). by emrall(op):
The Paffcomm publication that Peter Obi may surrender APGA to PDP has raised an alarm in APGA party and the governor is very furious that the information leaked to a social media network on the Internet. The governor received more than a thousand phone calls from party members demanding clarification on the information released by Paffcomm on the Internet, which the governor played down. He told party members who are unaware that such deal is going on in the Party that the information is false and that it is the handwork of Ngige and APC party. Gov Obi told the party members not to take the story serious.

Our insider told us that Obi was furious with the leakage of the agreement and has threatened to back out from the arrangement if his new proposal to cover up his selfish ambition is not accepted. Our source revealed that Obi has asked that the arrangement be changed, where APGA will take this four years while PDP takes the second four years with Arthur producing the candidate, as against the previous arrangement which stipulates that top APGA member will decamp to PDP and APGA will minimize their campaign trail and support Tony Nwoye to win the election and for Obi to produce the next candidate under PDP in the next election.

According to an insider, he said that, Governor Peter Obi had notified the president about the leakage of the plan and his new proposed arrangement. However, the problem is, would Arthur Eze agree to the new proposal? It is also said that Obi in the first place is not comfortable with the initial arrangement that gives Arthur Eze the first shot at the government house on the ground that Arthur Eze might in the end of their tenure refused to step down for Obi to produce the new governor under PDP. Information reaching us also said that governor Obi planned trip with his APGA stalwarts and the president outside the country may also be canceled. However, the president is said to have told Governor Obi to calm down until his arrival in Anambra state.

PoliticsBreaking News (Peter Obi May Finally Surrender APGA To PDP). by emrall(op):
Paffcomm is following some story that Peter Obi has finally soften to surrender APGA to PDP. Our source following the story for quite some time now revealed that Tony Nwoye refused billions of Naira offered to him to step down for Ukachukwu, who happens to be the favorite of Governor Peter Obi. The refusal of Tony Nwoye is not unconnected with his godfather Author Eze, who is also in the good book of President Jonathan. The refusal of Tony Nwoye to take the billions of Naira offered to him was the reason for the prolonged court cases. Some days ago the president intervened and brokered a peace between Author Eze and Governor Obi which according to our source, the deal allowed Tony Nwoye to remain the flag bearer of PDP and to govern Anambra state for just one term of 4 years while Obi candidate will take the second tenure which will give him the more opportunity to contest for the presidential seat of the country under PDP.

President Jonathan will on Saturday move Aso Rock from Abuja to Anambra State for a heavy campaign trail that Anambra state has never witnessed before. The president will also try to checkmate Ngige and APC party which for now seems unstoppable. During the campaign, a large amount of money will as well move around and many eminent personalities will cross carpet to PDP. It is also espected that some party Guber candidates may step down for Tony Nwoye of PDP. In a few days' time, Governor Peter Obi will fly out of the country with some party stalwarts to facilitate the complete surrender of APGA to PDP.Paffcomm maintains that the Guber race in Anambra state will be a two-horse race between PDP and APC. We will continue to update you more on this new story whenever more information is available.

PoliticsAnambra State Guber Election Only God Or Massive Rigging Can Stop Ngige by emrall(op): 9:46am On Nov 05, 2013
On the second of February I posted an article titled "The looming battle for Anambra state" in which I predicted that the PDP would never unite under their formidable structure to win the governorship of Anambra state. As I now write this article, less than two weeks to the election, the PDP is still divided and still in court and in my opinion, in spite of the hundreds of millions now spent by Arthur Eze to back Tony Nwoye, the PDP is effectively out of this race. Back in February, Victor Umeh was still milking and romancing Ifeanyi Ubah, Ngige was still conducting the repulsive charade of consultation with the people even as he prepares to represent the ACN in the future governorship election. Soludo was equally scheming in the background for a way in, knowing that there was no partway for him in the PDP as the Ubas were certain to frustrate his attempts this time around. Peter Obi had managed to buy a bogus judgment from an Enugu based renegade judge against Victor Umeh, and was secretly parading Oseloka Obaze as his chosen successor even though he did not mean a single word about it.

Fast forward nine months since that article, I have written a few more on this subject since, but I have remained very consistent in my observation on what will be the outcome. But before we go any further, perhaps let us recount the significant things that have happened. Ifeanyi Ubah continued to pay his monthly ransom to Victor Umeh and Uzu Awka as well as Umeh's court fees, and then the man was broke, completely broke that he simply could no longer afford the ransom or the ongoing inflated judicial bribery money and so he wisely bolted to the Labour party. Expectedly Umeh became victorious at the Appeals Court and Peter Obi was forced to come back on his knees, no, I'll take that back; he wasn't on his knees, he has Anambra state checkbook with him. Before Peter swallowed his pride and called Umeh, Soludo moved in fast and paid a very hefty ransom to Umeh with the promise or rather guarantee of the governorship ticket. I've heard numbers of around two hundred and fifty million naira.

When all hopes were completely lost, Peter obi sought the reunion with Victor Umeh to once again give him the control of the legitimate APGA. The Anglican bishop of Awka mediated this marriage of convenience between Obi and Umeh. From the onset it was clear that Umeh wanted a once-in-a-lifetime payday and demanded two billion naira, but, of course, Obi is never the sort of man that throws money around. In the end, it still cost more than four hundred million naira to settle Umeh on one condition; that Umeh should forget the idea of Soludo (Obi's good friend) as the candidate. In the same vein, Umeh gave his condition; that Obi should forget the idea of Obaze as the candidate. Surely they devised a means, and sent both Soludo and Obaze to Abuja for screening in a pre-arranged plot to disqualify both and clear the way for Peter's real chosen candidate. On the Obaze issue, Umeh was only a convenient excuse. I had known of the plot to bring in Obiano months earlier, and had warned those in Obaze camp that such was coming, but they did not take my warning seriously.

As the other gladiators were fighting to emerge from their various parties, the ACN and the CPC joined hands along with ANPP to form a mega opposition party under the new umbrella of APC. They went to Abuja, forced Annie Okonkwo to step down, and declared Ngige the sole candidate for Anambra. They had miscalculated; a man by the name Ezeemo had the control of majority of the new party delegates at Awka, and when he insisted on a primary, they simply opened up a free-for-all voting primary to the public at large across the state to take advantage of Ngige's popularity. As expected, Ngige won hands down and is now the APC candidate. So after all these maneuverings, where are we now? Well, the race remains between Ngige (APC), Obiano (APGA), Nwoye? (PDP), and Ubah (Labour) There are still another twenty or so candidates from various parties, a couple of them are my personal friends, but I have limited my commentary to those with a fighting chance.

I had watched the debates, observed the campaigns, and read as much as I could all the propagandas and innuendos including how many virgins have been buried at Okija, Olumba Olumba, Mountain of Fire, Ojawo ememe ministries, Edi Nnogu's former shrine, Ogboni, Amork, Eckanka, Freemason, Illuminati, Marine shrine, Agulu lake, Oguta lake, River Niger, and all the human heads stored at various hotels in Onitsha in preparation for this upcoming governorship election. Some told me that they have already won this election in the spirit, only waiting for its manifestation in real life. Akuko! The bottom line is that as at today, Ngige remains the overwhelming favorite to win this election. None of my good friends believe that this is possible. Perhaps there is something they know that I don't know. I have been told from the highest levels that President Jonathan would not allow APC to get a foothold anywhere in the Southeast. I think it is a valid argument and I have written about it in an earlier article. But I wonder what sort of magic they intend to pull now that it is becoming increasingly clear that Ngige is cruising to a massive victory in less than two weeks.

I drove across Anambra on Friday and saw firsthand how virtually all billboards of Willie Obiano has been defaced by ordinary Anambra citizens in every community I visited. Our governor, campaigning with Obiano, have been repeatedly pelted with pure water at Onitsha market and elsewhere. Several traders associations are openly declaring for Ngige despite threats from their leaders. Just a couple of days ago, Obi attended a Catholic prayer vigil at Uke attended by thousands, and when he attempting to appeal for a vote for APGA was shouted down, instead they shouted Ngige! Onwaaaa! In the end, rather than listen to the security men with the governor, they went into frenzy where more than thirty people lost their lives. The handwriting, it seems, is on the wall, and it now appears that only God would stop this ongoing Ngige madness in Anambra state. But it seems that even God does not wish to weigh in on this fight. Recently there was a false rumor that Ngige slapped a Rev. Father, apparently an attempt to draw the wrath of the very powerful Catholic Church against him, but the Catholic bishop said they have no problem with Ngige, that the allegation was false.

I have maintained from the beginning that I am not a friend of Ngige, I have never even met the man. If anything, most of his opponents are my friends, and quite frankly, I am too big to write any article for any individual or party for money. But I do keep it straight and honest even if my friends are offended as is often the case. When Ngige was still with CAN, many argued that Anambra people would never allow a Yoruba party to rule Anambra. When he became the candidate of APC, many said it is a party of Muslims and Anambra people will never allow Muslims to rule Anambra. The ugly truth is that the average man in the streets of Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, and so forth does not see it this way. They had tasted Ngige before and were charmed by him and they wanted him back regardless of which party he represents. As I wrote in an earlier article, I never liked the man once I read about his Okija escapade with Chris Uba. But it seems that the man learnt his lessons, especially after his kidnapping ordeal, and has won the people's heart, and in my opinion, that is true politics and he deserves to win.

Frankly, as an Igbo man, I would have loved to see some remnants of what Ojukwu built. But indications are that if APGA fails to win this Anambra governorship election, it would effectively be the very end of APGA as a viable political party. Without Okorocha or Obi to see them through, the handful of APGA members in the National Assembly would most likely be flushed out by 2015 election. I had argued repeatedly that by failing to hold local government elections, APGA was failing in the necessary task and opportunity to build a formidable structure required to win statewide elections. So far that lack of structure has cost them all 6 senatorial elections they contested since they came into power in 2006. Politics is not rocket science, these things are very elementary. Apparently Governor Peter Obi wanted to eat his cake and have it, but it does not work like that. Even the party chairman, Victor Umeh, has lamented publicly that by failing to conduct elections, that "Peter Obi has murdered APGA" That is a serious indictment coming from the chairman of the party. If they already know this, is APGA trying to pull a miracle out of this election? It would be a miracle indeed, but not if the common Anambra voters have something to do with it. Based on what I have seen and encountered in Anambra lately, this is not an exaggeration.

A new Paffcommn Telephone Survey from October 31st to Nov 3, 2013 shows that 24% of Likely Voters would vote for the APC or LP for Anambra governorship race if the election were held today, while 22% would choose the APGA and 13% for PDP. Undecided voters 17%.

APC and LP lead over APGA by 2% and over PDP by 17%. Ifeanyi Uba who presently is having the best campaign team among the top political parties has also usurped some of the youths followers of Ngige and Tony Nwoye. The Oil magnet and youthful Ifeanyi Uba is also enjoying a surge of support from the Elders of Anambra Central and South and a little fraction of elders in the Anambra North Senatorial zone.

ANALYSIS

With days to election, many things are changing and changing very fast in the Anambra state opinion polls. PDP who weeks ago surged in the poll due to Court of Appeal declaration that Tony Nwoye won the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State has once again witnessed a big slide in the opinion poll as a result of another court ruling that barred him from all political campaigns pending the outcome of a case filed by Ukachukwu in the court, which the hearing will commence Nov 4. 2013. The order from the court is a big setback to the PDP party who has been trying to catch up with other political parties on the campaign trail. You may recall that PDP has been off and on in the court due to the disagreement concerning whom to select as the party flag bearer in the Anambra state gubernatorial election.

Willie Obiano of APGA is facing a tremendous mountain of problems from the poor debate outing to cheating in the debate. Others include: Agulu town chiefs the home of Peter Obi revelation of Ojukwu plans and his agreement with Peter Obi which Obi did not keep, which led to the support of Ifeanyi Uba instead of their son's candidate, Willie Obiano by Agulu town people. Another is the division and bickering in the Anambra North Central Zone over whom the zone will support due to the many candidates from the zone. Another trouble for the party is the division between the traditional rulers in Anambra State over whom the traditional rulers will support. Anambra south and central senatorial zone traditional rulers are against the zoning system while the traditional rulers in the Anambra north senatorial zone are in favor of the zoning system. Again, is the Onitsha main market debacle where Willie received an unpalatable reception from some traders who were against the closure of the market for APGA campaign which resulted in throwing of pure water sachet on the Obiano campaign team by some of the traders.

The most recent and very destructive to APGA is the loss of life in Uke crusade which Obi and Willie Obiano and APGA chairman Victor Ume attended with many others in their entourage. Anambrarians blame Obi squally for the loss of life at the praying ground. They argued that Obi should not have attended the crusade on APGA campaign uniform or make open donations and promises to the church. They said. Had Obi made the donations and promises secretly to the church that the crises would have been avoided, claiming that crusade is not for fund-raising or political campaign rather a place of worship. All this put together is definitely harming the party and Willie Obiano in the opinion poll and may result to APGA losing the election if positive step is not taken to remedy the situation.

More so, Willie should try to meet an open press instead of selected press as many people, including the press see Obiano as being propped and restricted by Obi from meeting an open press. Nobody wants to see a would-be governor avoid the press like Sarah Pallin, whom the Republican party hid from the press for so long that when she finally met the press, she made many mistakes. Willie Obiano interview in the twitter is a welcomed development and should also conduct the same interview in Facebook as Nigerians use Facebook more than twitter. I also advise the other party candidates to emulate Willie's twitter interview. Willie Obiano needs a serious image maker to rebuild his image after the disgraceful performance in the last debate, including the loss of life at Uke crusade. Again, Willie Obiano should campaign more on job creation instead of his present campaign talking point, which is based on continuation of Obi good work in the Anambra State.

Ngige last week rumors of slapping a Rev Priest affected his poll. Thought, the priest in question has cleared Ngige of such act, but the effect on Ngige poll is still to subside. Ngige campaign team late arrival to debunk the allegations took a toll on Ngige's support. In political campaigns even a flat lie or false allegation against a candidate or party can have a damaging effect on a candidate or party if the party did not immediately issue a report denying the allegation. It happened to Obama when it was alleged that Obama was a Muslim and not born in United State. The allegation took a toll Oboma opinion poll for months before it was debunked by fact checking. Even though the allegation was debunked the Republicans party still uses it as a campaign tool against Obama today.

The APC team did a good job on the Ngige image repair. He was hurt severely by his support for the deportation of Igbo indigene from Lagos to Onitsha and joining APC, which was deemed as Hausa party a move that earned him, the phrase "Yoruba godson" or the stooge of the Yoruba and Hausa. Astonishingly, he was able to turn the God-fatherism slogan used against him by APGA on Willie Obiano as the godson of Obi. He also changed the talking point that APGA is an Igbo party while APC is Yoruba and Hausa party a tribal insinuation used by APGA. Presently, the talking point is focused on candidate's personality and experiences and what the party can do for the people. However, the greatest enemy of Ngige is arrogance and over-confidence. In as much as the opinion poll is still in his favor, he should be reminded that opinion polls are not steady. More so, he should try as much as possible not to allow the Uke crusade death blame fall on him.

The most surprising is the surge in supports for Ifeanyi Uba of LP. Ifeanyi Uba is presently on par with Ngige of APC party at the top table with 24 points apiece. APC dropped again by 1 point while Ifeanyi Uba, who was at 8% as at Paffcomm, first poll gained 16% point. His rise in the poll is not unconnected with his performance during recent debates and revelation of agreement between the late Ojukwu and Peter Obi by the Agulu chiefs, including his aggressive campaign and political manifesto which is more on job creation. More so, Ifeanyi Uba seems to have a good image maker who was able to rebuild his image in Anambra state after the Ngige kidnap episode, which almost tarnished his political career and image in the state. Presently, he is leading in the social media campaign followed by APC. Two many set backs have forced APGA from their first position in the social media campaign a few weeks ago to third position. APGA needs to be more serious about social media campaign or employ more hands to do the job. However, his handcap is fluency in english language though, it may not pose a big problem in this race.

PoliticsPOLITICS AND POLITRICKS OF ZONING IN ANAMBRA STATE (ANAMBRA STATE IN DANGER) by emrall(op): 8:46am On Nov 02, 2013
POLITICS AND POLITRICKS OF ZONING IN ANAMBRA STATE (UNITY IN ANAMBRA STATE IS ENDANGERED BY ZONING SYSTEN)

In Anambra, politics is a sublime art. It is a jigsaw puzzle set on a nebulous terrain. It is dance whose steps are often taught by the spirits. It a game, not for the dull witted and the gullible but for the enigmatic and the calculative.

In Anambra, appearance is different from reality; and reality itself is flux. Sense is different from sentence; and language is different from communication. It is a truism that two plus two is four but in Anambra politics, two plus two could be two or fourteen.

It is a delicate game of brain and pocket. In the game, every move counts for the difference between failure and success could just be one ill-timed or well-timed move. As November 16 approaches, there have been several moves by several gladiators on the political chessboard known as Anambra State. One of such moves has been the arbitrary zoning of the gubernatorial seat to Anambra North Senatorial District by His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, suddenly at the twilight of his administration.

On the face value, it is a move based on a nebulous argument of neglect and marginalization. The governor is of the opinion that other contestants step down their ambitions for any candidate, whomsoever from Anambra North Senatorial District. The underlying axiom is that the gubernatorial position ought to move serially round the three senatorial zones in the state.

Since the last three civilian governors of Anambra had come from the south and central districts, it amounted to ‘neglect’ and ‘marginalization’ of Anambra North. But that is the face value which is marginal value in Anambra politics. But for the sake of argument, let’s look into the issues raised in that opinion.

First, Anambra North cannot be said to be politically marginalized nor economically neglected. The colossus of Africa, the Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the first president of the country was a son of Anambra North. The quintessential Oyi of Oyi, the late Rt Hon. Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, a celebrated President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was a worthy son of Anambra North. The late Ukpabi Asika, former governor of the whole of Eastern Nigeria known then as East Central State was from Anambra North. How could a politically marginalized people produce these political giants: a president, a senate president and a governor of the whole East to mention but a few?

In economic terms, Anambra North has the highest investment of the entire Anambra State, nay – Igboland. There is virtually no family in Anambra State that does not have a representative in Onitsha. Onitsha has been home to not just to the entire Anambra State but entire Ndigbo as the foremost commercial city in Igboland. Onitsha gulps greater part of Anambra State budget on infrastructural development on a yearly basis.

Gov. Peter Obi devoted greater part of his seven years rule building Onitsha. Not even Awka, the state capital could get even half as much emphasis placed on the infrastructural development placed on Onitsha. Onitsha is not alone in the economic concentration in Anambra North. The entire people of Anambra State are massively developing Ogbaru, Nkwelle and Ogbunike – all in Anambra North. More than 50% of Anambra citizens residing in the state live in Anambra North and visit their zones only occasionally. Whence lays the marginalization?

The idea of zoning itself is antithetical to the ethos and modus vivendi of Ndi Anambra. The average Anambra man is enterprise personified. The principle of merit is the overriding value in our culture. The Anambra man is a universal man. The world is his home. Wherever there is opportunity for merit and enterprise, there you see the Anambra man: from Lagos to Tokyo, Washington to Sidney, Vancouver to Taipei; the Anambra man is there pursuing his enterprise. All he asks of the system is fairness. The ideas of quota and institutional patronage are foreign to him. ‘’Effort” is his credo. That is the quintessential Anambra man. These are the values at stake in the gubernatorial Trojan gift of zoning.

The metaphysical identity of the Anambra man is at stake. His essence; that which makes him an Anambra man, and neither an Imo man nor a Sokoto man is at stake. But truly, Anambra is home for all. It is a state where merit towers above discrimination. In Anambra, you see citizens of other states in the House of Assembly. To institutionalize zoning in Anambra State is to institutionalize discrimination, mediocrity and the consequent corruption.

The unspoken value behind the idea of quota or compensation leadership is the concepts of ‘come and chop” . It is a sickly creation of the ‘national cake’ mentality. The individual is invited to ‘chop’ on behalf of his clan. The basic criterion that brings him to power is simply his coming from a particular zone. His overriding mission in governance is chopping on behalf of his zone.

That cannot be our wish for Anambra State. Anambra is the home of the giants. What we want for her is the very best among the best. Where he or she comes from is inconsequential. We want a leader who can turn Anambra into the pride of the country in terms of infrastructural development.

So after eight years in power, what the current administration relies on to sell its favoured candidate is not performance but clannishness and parochial bigotry? During the last gubernatorial election in Anambra, it was religious politics – Catholics against Protestants. Now that even the Catholics seem to be disappointed, it is the bigotry of zoning.

Should we descend to politics of division? Are Ndi Anambra no longer one people with one destiny? Should we allow people to use religion and clan to divide us and deceive us? Should we allow the notorious swindle of divide and rule to triumph in our land once more in the 21st century? Ndi Anambra, should we murder excellence in favour of mediocrity?

PoliticsGovernor Peter Obi And His Godson Willie Obiano Part I by emrall(op): 6:00am On Oct 29, 2013
Every government success are commonly evaluated in terms of how many jobs the govt created. Economics all over the world agrees that the creation of jobs is the creation and spread of wealth and development in a nation. Tax preferences and loopholes are commonly justified as ways of increasing employment in the favored activity. A good government point with pride in the number of jobs created within the economy during their administrations. Supposedly, the more jobs created the more successful the administration. Every good administration spending or program will be towards job creation especially in a country like Nigeria where unemployment is very high. Working in jobs is an important way the people create wealth. So the emphasis on job creation is as should be first choice program for any good government in Anambra state. For a state to create wealth to the people, the state must first create a job.

In this article, we will examine Peter Obi Administration in terms of job creation, understanding that Anambra state has the highest number of unemployed in Nigeria. Furthermore, we also want to compare his job creation with the former governor of old Anambra state Jim Nwobodo. Peter Obi as you may know claimed to have done a great job for Anambra people in his eight years of administering the affair of Anambra state, prompting him to personally hand-picked his successor by the name of Willie Obiano to replace him on the excuse of continuation of his good work for the state. However, before we continue we would like to brief you on annual revenue of Jim Nwobodo and Peter Obi as it is well known that capital is the engine with which jobs are created.

It is on record that during 70s and early 80s, a barrel of crude Oil was 19 dollars a barrel hence the low budget allocation during those days. Jim Nwobodo received a total of 213.9 million in four years as governor of the old Anambra state comprising the present Anambra State. Enugu State and major part of Ebonyi State. Notwithstanding, the small amount he received as budget allocation, he still was able to create numerous jobs for the people by establishment of industries and educational institutions for the state and registered in the name of the state.

Nwobodo created numerous jobs with the establishment of these industries and educational institutions among which are Nike Lake Hotel. Anambra State Television. Anambra State University of Science and Technology (ASUTECH) now Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU)), the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. Eha Amufu College of Education. College of Education. Nsigbe and the Nkalagu Cement Industry. Others include: The Greater Enugu Water Project. The Abakaliki Water Scheme. The Nike Lake Resort. The Ikenga Hotels. Awka and Nsukka. The flour Mill at Emene. The Aluminium Products Factory at Ogbede in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area. The Building Materials Factory at Ezillo in Ishielu Local Government Area. Rural Electrification Scheme that touched every local government and towns in Anambra state, The Greater Onitsha Water Scheme. The Metallurgical Factory at Ozubulu. The Specialist Hospital at Abakaliki.

Jim Nwobodo built Health Center in all Local Govt of the Old Anambra State and hundreds of primary and secondary schools all over the state. He equipped all secondary school laboratories, constructed and rehabilitate roads. Jim also equipped the then, Anambra Premier Brewery and rehabilitated it. Jim increased Anambra workers minimum Wage, for the first time since the end of the civil war after Udoji. To write down Jim's achievement in four years of his tenure will fill this page. Jim also created more local govt to bring development closer to the people and create more jobs for the people. However, the benefit of the local govt was short-lived when Buhari staged a coup and cancelled the new local govt created by jim.

Apart from government ministry jobs, Nwobodo created millions of jobs through the establishment of industries and schools. He created the jobs to facilitate better living conditions for the returned Biafrans who had lost virtually all that they had. During Nwobodo administration, there was a surplus of job that some Anambrerians who traveled to the West and North to look for job had to come back home to fill the vacancies. The surplus vacancies in the tertiary institutions and schools forced Nwobodo to personally traveled to the United States and Europe to converse for Igbo lecturers and teachers in the Diaspora to come back home and fill the vacancies in the schools. In fact, Jim Nwobodo knelt upon his knees to plead with Professor Kenneth Dike the first Vice Chancellor of Unizik to come home to head Unizik Awka. In the course of Jim Nwobodo administration. Anambra State's Gross National Product (GNP) increased by 50%. Jim Nwobodo established all these with just 213.9 million naira federal allocation in four years of his administration. Upon the meager allocation in his four years as governor of Anambra State, he did not owe the state workers rather he increased their salaries and reduced school fees.

Governor Peter Obi has waxed eloquence in his ability to have developed all sectors of the state. Unfortunately, however, the reverse seems to be the case as the state remains virtually unchanged from what obtained before his administration.

The Obi government also received federal budgetary allocations to local government areas which if added together will run into a trillion Naira. It received millions of dollars as international donations and Aids and Grants to the state. It also received special funds from the federal government, like the ecological and disaster funds. In 2012 and 2013, the regime received oil derivation funds. Most importantly, the administration has received internally generated revenue, which is estimated as two times more than the federal allocations through taxes and levies. Since we could not find a recent Local government allocation to Anambra State, we decided to give an example with 2004 Local govt allocation to Anambra State even though the Local government allocation has increased tremendously since 2004. Below is 2004 Local Government Allocation of Anambra State.

Amount allocated per Local govt. Area as follows: (1) Aguata 80,123,737.73 18 (2)Anambra East 50,369,511.39 3. Anambra West - 49,605,226.96 (4) Anaocha - 61,382,425.51 (5) Awka North - 43,176,392.07 (6) Awka South - 55,920,822.69 (7) Ayamelum - 48,563,596.63 (cool Dunukofia - 45,165,754.51 (9)Ekwusigo - 49,378,077.54 (10) Idemili North - 77,655,329.81 (11) Idemili South - 52,336,194.87 (12) Ihiala - 67,689,669.79 (13) Njikoka - 53,789,659.39 (14) Nnewi North - 54,599,356.31 (15) Nnewi South - 58,239,887.78 (16) Ogbaru - 61,872,046.02 (17) Onitsha North - 53,145,554.82(18) Onitsha South - 54,775,133.58 (19) Orumba North - 55,159,486.32 (20) Orumba South - 49,602,548.51 (21) Oyi - 47,331,932.13 16. Total -1,169,882,344.37.

Assuming that there is no increment in the Local govt allocation since 2004 and that the amount remained 1,169,882,344.37 billion naira annually allocated to Anambra state.

Please do the Maths yourself my calculator cannot carry the figure. Now compare 1,169,882,344.37 billion Naira Local govt allocation for just 2004 alone with Jim Nwobodo total allocation of 213.9 million in four years as governor of the old Anambra state comprising the present Anambra State. Enugu State and Ebonyi State. Still, Jim was able to create jobs for the people.

Local government election would have reduced the unemployment figure of Anambra state. Yet, Obi refused to conduct Local Government election on the excuse that paying elected local government official will be a waste of money. Imagine what a governor can open the four walls of his mouth and say to the people that voted him into power to create jobs for them. Obi forgot that Local govt is a democratic institution created to bring govt closer to the people and that paying the Local elected official is spread of wealth, which will trickle down to the people and the poor and even create more jobs to the people. Imagine how many people that would have been employed had Obi held an election since the past eight years, but he denied the people their chance to put food on the table and yet he proudly asked Anambrarian to vote for his God-son Obiano.

Ironically, while Obi did not establish even Pure Water factory for Anambra people to be employed, he continued closing Anambra liaison offices in many state of the federation and reducing staff in ministries. It is unfortunate to say the state has hardly witnessed any appreciable improvement in the course of the last eight years compared to huge internal generated revenue and Federal budgetary allocation Derivation and so on. While Anambra State is whiling away in darkness due to lack of tangible development and massive unemployment. Governor Obi as an individual has continued to experience exponential achievements in his personal dealings. Governor Peter Obi has successfully built a private shopping mall worth billions of Naira in Abuja. It is the believe that Peter Obi's shopping Mall in Abuja has more than 5000 staff of which many are northerners. He has also succeeded in setting up a private brewery company, but he was kind enough to allocate to Anambra State less than 4% Share. Surprisingly, Peter Obi's magnanimity in allocating some of the company shares to the state is being lauded by many, and seen as an effort at improving the economy of the state even though it is against the law for a governor to invest in private business. All these private establishments of Obi were funded by Obi's private Bank, Fidelity Bank which also serves as Anambra state treasury. Yet, nobody found any fault with it. As Obi was funding these private investments, Anambra workers were owed about four months monthly wages.

All these notwithstanding, development and job creation still far eludes the state. More alarming is the fact that Obi has hand-picked his private bank staff Willie Obiano to replace him in the governorship seat. According to him, he said, "I want my good work in the state to continue." I wonder what good work Obi is talking about. Is it the good work of massive unemployment in the state? Or the good work of investing in private property with state funds? Or the good work of investing in private property while in office which attract 20 years imprisonment by Nigeria constitution? Or the good work of not paying workers' salaries? Or the good work of establishing a Mall outside your state which if it had been established in Anambra would have created employment for our people? Or the good work for increasing school fees while other state are reducing tertiary institution Anambra is increasing? Or the good work for misappropriating the state funds? Tell me the good work?

Perhaps. his good work is the road construction and rehabilitation, but is that enough? Does that reduce the massive unemployment in the state? Anambrarians have become so petty that road construction has become the barometer with which good governance are measured. I have searched for the good work, but found nothing. Is the so-called Peter Obi achievement commensurate with the amount he receives in terms of revenue and allocations to the state? Granted he has achieved a lot in the area of fighting for his right in court without resorting to thuggery, but that was not what the people voted him in to do. They put him there to spread the dividends of democracy to every citizen of the State and after seven years, he is still to do that. Obi is a silent killer and very corrupt. The state had, had a governor in Jim Nwobodo, who had, in spite of the rather meager allocations available at the time, recorded tremendous achievements for the people.

GOVERNOR PETER OBI AND HIS GOD-SON WILLIE OBIANO PART 2 TO PUBLISHED SOON.
PoliticsInterview With Paffcomm Anambra Gubernatorial Poll Analyst by emrall(op): 6:10pm On Oct 22, 2013
PAFFCOMM: Sir, it has been said by some people that your Poll is FALSE, what can you say about that?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: Well we do not expect everybody to accept our polls due to party affiliations and passions by party members to see their party be in the front and win the governorship race. However, we don't care what people say. The poll is for every party and candidate to see their standing and make more effort to win the heart of the electorates who will decide the winner. Politics is a game. However, I noticed some typographical errors in the poll published by Paffcomm press. The correct Poll's results are as follows:

Senator Ngige, the APC nominee, is ahead with 28%. Willie Obiano of APGA 23%. Nicholas Ukachukwu of PDP 19%. Ifeanyi Ubah of LP 8% among likely voters in the Anambra State, with 22% unsure. The Paffcomm Polls suggests a huge gender gap, with Senator Ngige, leading by a double digit figure of 11 points among women voters especially market women, but holding a much smaller two-point margin among men. Ngige has a five point lead over Willie Obiano and nine point lead over Nicholas Ukachukwu.

PAFFCOMM: Yes we noticed the errors after it was published though, we corrected the one published in the Paffcomm Facebook page, but was unable to correct the others published in the groups pages. We are terribly sorry for the mistake.

PAFFCOMM: Sir, can you analyze the governorship race in Anambra State?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: The race may be a two horse race between APC and PDP

PAFFCOMM: Sir, please sorry for interrupting you. How is APGA, which is an Igbo party behind APC?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: What you should know is that Igbos don't vote on party affiliation, but what a party promise to do for them. Igbo party as you may know died in 1983 when NPP was run over by NPN. Let me give you a brief history. NPP was established by Zik as Igbo party, they won five states during the 1979 election, the state includes: Old Anambra State, Old Imo State Old. Kaduna State, Old Plateau State and Old River State until 1982 when Ojukwu came back. It was believed that Ojukwu will join the Igbo party, which was NPP, but to the surprise of every Igbo Ojukwu, joined NPN. Ojukwu helped NPN to destroy NPP in the 1983 election. You may recall that the NPP did not win a single state in the 1983 election. Since then there has never been another Igbo party.

When Ojukwu joined NPN the respect for Zik died due to the insults Zik received from Ojukwu. It was an Ojukwu's insult on Zik that prompted other Igbos to start insulting Zik and cross carpeting of Igbo eminent personalities from NPP to NPN due to the money NPN was sharing during the campaign. An example of the insult Zik received from Ojukwu was the Mkpor shoot out between Jim Nwobodo the then governor of Anambra State and Ojukwu during the 1983 campaign that received condemnation across the nation against Ojukwu who later apologized to Zik and as well told Zik to warn his boy Jim Nwobodo. During the saga Zik only reminded Ojukwu that he was the first person that carried him upon his arm from his maternity bed the day he was born. However, there is no doubt that Ojukwu was a great hero and loved by the Igbos, A man who sacrificed his comfort to save his people, but many Igbos have not forgotten that history of insults on the great Zik of Africa which may play a role in deciding who leads Anambra State especially now that Ojukwu is no more.

As for Ngige, he laid a solid foundation among the traders who are the majority voting block in Anambra State electorate. Obi did not lay a solid foundation for APGA. He was carried away by the little opening to become vice-president under PDP and in so doing did not strategize APGA in the State for governorship election, but instead was destroying the party which led to many APGA members like Okoracha cross carpeting to APC. When the vice presidency did not materialize he scampered to repair what he destroyed during the vice presidential moves. Again, another dangerous gamble Obi played was the unknown candidate he forced on his party and his background with Obiano. Not many Anamberian accept that moves. According to some Anamberian they said, Obi is turning Anambra state to his own dynasty.

PAFFCOMM: Waooh! What a history. There are many things we do not know. However, how can Jonathan's campaign for Nicholas Ukachukwu, affect the polls?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: It is simply. The president have to borrow the words of Alhaji Shehu Shagari when he campaigned for CC Onoh of NPN and throw money around like Ibrahim Tahir who was spraying money from helicopters to the Anambra electorate during the campaign for the CC Onoh gubernatorial race. Bear in mind that Ojukwu joining the NPN did not play much role in the winning of NPN in Anambra state, but only help to destabilize NPP. The real thing that changed Anambra people were the promises of Shagari to Anambra people, of which one the promise was that their son Alex Ekwueme will be the president of Nigeria after he Shagari's tenure and for that dream to be realized Anambra will have to elect an NPN candidate as governor of the state. It was after President Shagari's campaign for CC Onoh that eminent ndigbo in NPP started to cross carpet to NPN which led to the success of NPN in the Old Anambra and Imo State in 1983.

PAFFCOMM: Paffcomm is said to be supporting Ngige how true is that statement?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: That is a complete nonsense. Paffcomm bashed Ngige more than any other candidate in this election. For any doubts please I advise you to go to www.paffcomm.com to see for yourself. Paffcomm does not support any candidate and we did not say that Ngige has already won the election, but that Ngige is presently leading other candidates, which is not permanent, but subject to change any time Ngige missteps like when he supported Fashola for deporting ndigbo from Lagos. Presently, Ngige seems to have been forgiven by some Anambra electorates which resulted in his high poll result.

PAFFCOMM: What advice would you give to Anambra electorates?

POLITICAL AND POLL ANALYST: My advice to Anambra electorates is to vote wisely

PAFFCOMM: Thank you sir for your time. It is a pleasure talking to you.

PoliticsSenator Ngige Of Apc Party, Will Win Anambra State If Election Is Held Today. by emrall(op): 6:18pm On Oct 21, 2013
Senator Ngige of APC party holds a single-digit lead over APGA candidate Willi Obiano for the governorship race in Anambra State. A Paffcomm survey released this morning indicates Senator Ngige, the APC nominee, is ahead with 28%. Willi Obiano of APGA 23%. Nicholas Ukachukwu of PDP 19%. Ifeanyi Ubah of LP 8% among likely voters in the Anambra State, with 23% unsure or may vote for other candidates. The Paffcomm poll suggests a huge gender gap, with Senator Ngige, leading by a double digit figure 11 points among women voters especially market women, but holding a much smaller two-point margin among men.

According to Paffcomm political analyst he said, Senator Ngige's five point lead over Willi Obiano and nine point lead over Nicholas Ukachukwu may be short-lived if President Jonathan finally comes down to Anambra State to campaign and spur support for Nicholas Ukachukwu of PDP. It is also believed that the president will settle the problems in Anambra State PDP party which will not only spur support for Ukachukwu within the party, but also help him build a formidable campaign team and raise enough funds for his campaign. The Paffcomm analyst said that the Anambra governorship race may be a two horse race between Senator Ngige of APC party and Nicholas Ukachukwu of PDP if APGA's division is not brought together as soon as possible.

PoliticsThe Imaginary God Of Poverty by emrall(op): 8:14am On Oct 20, 2013
THE IMAGINARY GOD OF POVERTY

Some countries in Europe demonstrated against Austerity imposed just yesterday on them, but here in Nigeria, we are just about cerebrating our 33rd birthday on Austerity measure, imposed on Nigerians by the then president of Nigeria Alhaji Shehu Shagari. Austerity measures was introduced in Nigeria in the year 1979 during Alhaji Shehu Shagar's administration as one of the condition for taking IMF LOAN. Until date Nigerians are still wallowing under the merciless monster due to corruption. In Nigeria, any evil that comes into the country does not go out anymore because our people are ready to house the evil and supply it with comfort and love. Since the Introduction of Austerity in the country. Nigerians have gone from fire to frying pan.

Austerity gave birth to hardship and military coups, through which Mr. Poverty and Mr. Bribery and Corruption came into being, while Mr. Poverty leaves countless bodies on its part Mr. Bribery and Corruption got elected into Nigeria political offices where they created Poor governance, Public fund embezzlers, Arm robbers, 419ners, Miracle Churches, Kidnappers, Human Sacrifices. Presently, our greatest problem and concern are not only that they control the nation, but they also control us and created fear in us that we Nigerians are afraid to fight back to claim our country back from the grip of these monsters.

Nigerians are ambivalent about corruption, Nigerians prefer to talk more about its evils than putting worth enough will to end it. As annoying as corrupt acts are, when push turns into shove, most Nigerians develop a lackadaisical attitude toward corruption. Much of the reason that Nigeria has not broken away with poverty, unemployment and inequality are that the people appear to accept the poor governance and corruption handed to them by politicians and state bureaucrats. The irony is that everybody is afraid. The people of Nigeria are afraid to fight back. The members of civil societies are afraid. The media does not care. The politicians? Well! They love it most when everybody is a coward. After-all, an unstable society is a great benefit to corrupt leaders.

Nigerians like to murmur and suffer in silence. They do not protest when the government and state institutions do not perform their duties. They do not mobilise themselves to demand that government, state institutions and people acting in Nigeria's name delivers first class services to them, and when such protest happens, there is always bad ending where some leaders of the protest receive a kick back from authority and end the protest without achieving the aim of the protest. Nigerians will rather shift the responsibility of fighting corruption to God, by constantly invoking their religious beliefs on how God will one day deal with all corrupt individuals and save the country from corruption. I wonder where or in the country that had happened. Perhaps Nigerians will wait until the end of days when Christ will come to take his people.

In Nigeria, the few that were able to secure a job are contented with the peanut wages they receive every month as monthly pay. Once a Nigerian can afford to buy a Tokumbo car, he feels on top of the world and less concern with the corrupt state of the nation. The Electricity Company of Nigeria frequently cut off power supply to households and businesses for days, weeks, months and years, yet, all that the people can do is to sit in their homes and murmur. This culture of suffering in silence is the reason for Nigeria's socio-economic quagmire where more than 50 years after independence not a single of the country's many problems have been solved. Nigerians will rather blame Satan, or the imaginary god of poverty for their suffering instead of standing up for their right. They will move from one church to the other, Pastor to Pastor, Mosque to Mosgue and Imam to Imam looking for miracles and breakthroughs. Many Nigerians have turned Pastors and Imams overnight because that is the present money making machine as it is found to be more lucrative than any other business. Churches and mosques are in every nook and cranny of our streets. No wonder Governor Fashola of Lagos state recently asked them to start paying tax.

We all believe in God, but God helps those who help themselves. Recently, it was announced that Nigerians spent over $60 billion to buy private, not to mention the expensive private yachts in our harbors, of which most of them are owned by our so-called leaders and the miracle Pastors while ordinary Nigerians are suffering. Our problem is that we have refused to take action and fight for our right to alleviate ourself from the grip of poverty and corrupt politicians. Fear and tribalism are the root cause of our problem. Are you not angry with the state of the country? How long must we endure this ill-conceived, hash and austere economic and social policies. We have been watching silently and have seen our politicians and their cronies enjoy while Nigerian masses continue to suffer. We have no job, no income, no savings and have no place to lay our heads while our politicians and the selected few live in mansions at the expense of our poor Nigerians.

Nigerians have been reduced to beggar-like condition. Are we not appalled by our poor living condition? Are we not appalled to see our children and other people's children selling on the street instead of being in the classroom? Are we not appalled to see children sleeping rough on the streets of our capital cities and scavenging for food while our politicians and their cronies frequent between five star hotels. Do we not care about our dignity as citizens of Nigeria? For years we have sacrificed and even today we are still sacrificing, but any time we look at our politicians and their circle of friends we see that they are in a different suit, in a different Four Wheel drive, in a different hotel, surrounded by bodyguards. How many more years should we continue to sacrifice and tighten our belts while our politicians and their cronies enjoy from our sweat? Is it not time for us to say enough is enough, that we Nigerians can no longer continue on this path of slavery?

Please Nigerians, if I may ask, are we not tired of all these corrupt politicians who call themselves our leaders? Are we not tired of the dictatorships, media censorship and bribery, torture, force imprisonment, kidnapping, arm-robbery, political instabilities, corruption, unemployment, etc.? Are we not tired of being slaves and beggars in our own country? Are we not tired of seeing our children and loved ones die of common preventable diseases? Are we not tired of sharing water from the same source with animals? Water infested with bacteria and viruses. Are we not tired of lack of access to education, health, energy, food, medicines, shelter and clothing? Are we not tired of having to endure poverty, starvation, diseases, humiliation, torture, oppression, in the hands of those we elected? Are we not tired of embezzlement of public funds by our politicians and our so-called leaders? Above all, are we not tired of their excesses?

Tell me, are we not tired of their corrupt practises and the looting of the treasuries? Their foreign bank accounts are swollen with hundreds of millions of our stolen dollars, pounds and Euros while hundreds of millions of us live on one dollar a day. Are we not tired of seeing them use our money to procure arms for their own protections while we are at the mercy of kidnappers and arm robberies. Our children go to school barefooted and on an empty stomach. Our hospitals are without essential medicines and equipments, factories are folding up for lack of electricity, harvested crops remain in the farm for the lack of good roads. Are we not tired of all their inaction? The wait and see and do nothing approaches to our problems. There are many of them that we have not chosen or asked to lead us, yet, they are carrying themselves around as our leaders because they rigged our vote. Such people we must demand to step down and allow elections to take place.

We must demand an end to the official corruption and graft in Nigeria, we must demand an end to the eroding of democratic values in Nigeria, we must demand an end to the injection of tribalism in our politics and religious conflicts in the country. We must demand better public services now. We must demand better education, health, transport and telecommunication infrastructures now. We must demand affordable housing now. We must demand irrigation facilities, tractors, Farming equipment and improved seeds for our farmers now. We must tell them that we are no longer going to tight our belts while theres are loosened. We must tell them that we are starving to death while they are developing protruding bellies, having lavish birthday parties while cholera cancer, typhoid fever, and starvation is threatening us and our loved ones. We must tell them that their greed and insensitivity to our problems are forcing the best of our people to seek greener pastures abroad where they are treated like animals, criminals and people without a country. For your information and to be on the safe side abroad, do not tell anyone that you are a Nigerian, else, you will be inviting the country's law enforcement eyes on you.

Nigerians should demand a share in the revenue from the sale of oil, gas, gold and other natural resources. We should demand a say in the way our governments are run, a say in the way our ministers are selected. We should demand a say in the way our country's money is spent and a say in the way contracts are awarded. We must tell them that it is not going to be business as usual anymore. We should demand change probity and accountability now. We should demand political action to solve the numerous problems facing us the people of Nigeria.

Nigerians, please look at the world around you. Do you not see or hear what is going in Asia, Latin America, Middle East Europe and North America? Can you not see that we are being left behind? Are you not ashamed that after 50 years of our independence we still use farming hoes and cutlasses for farming, tools our forefathers used before they were colonised? Are you not ashamed that after all these years of independence we cannot feed ourselves and our family; many of us cannot read or write and all we want to do is to leave Nigeria and travel abroad. Aren't you ashamed that after all the labour and hard-earned money spent on us in the school we are unable to find a job?

Point of correction there is nothing like god of poverty. Why we are poor today is because we are afraid to fight for our rights, to mobilise and demand for our right and test a free world just like the people in Europe and America. Please let us try to have a feel freedom and progress in our lifetime before we pass away. Do not be a fool forever or believe that a miracle will fall from heaven. The Europeans and Americans and Asians fought for it and got it. Middle Easts are presently on part to freedom while some have got it some are fighting to get it. My question is what is holding Nigeria and Nigerians from fighting for their rights?
