Wow!
The mere fact that this makes people this mad inspires me to start wearing shades indoors. Why do we tend to talk down on people that choose to do things differently. In addition, the notion that only naija celebs do this is absolute BS. A lot of fashion accessories are just what they are - accessories- and the uses of these things have gone beyond their original design intent.

Are these figures calculated from your gross annual earnings before deductions (health insurance, retirement & taxes) or net because I'm MEGA impressed by these 50 - 90% values i'm seeing here. You guys must be making bank. 90% sha?? That paycheck must be some really juicy one. Abeg do make me sef fit save 90 % oh!

Godogwu: Actually the best schools are in the US, I don't deny the facts. The thing is why settle for bronze if you can afford gold...my parents can afford to send me and my brother to school abroad so we can have a broader perspective on things (academics/morals etc) and with my grade *sigh* a pretty decent job in Nigeria is waiting in 2014

Bro, you might want to cool down a bit. I used to be this cocky 6 years back....I thought everyone else was doing things incorrectly. After a few years, i figured i wasn't that special kid i thought i was. I am by no means doing badly now but lets just say i didn't get anything worthwhile staying in Nigeria. With that said, i should point out that some folks got the 8 figure jobs but they were on top of their game all day everyday[i][/i].Besides business and entrepreneurship, getting a job that will adequately sustain you in nigeria requires that you are better than the millions out there that are pursuing those jobs, some with even higher qualifications than you have.I understand that we are quick to include that God'd favor is the ultimate but ill leave on this note "showeth me a man that is diligent in his work...."

iikkwwoo: please what is the average starting salary for immigrants like us?? is a 10 dollar per hour job a good start?

I have to say that the best thing for you to do is acquire some form of American Education as it is the easiest way out of the hustle I see many lottery people going through. Please understand that many US employers completely disregard foreign certificates out of sheer ignorance. In addition, that 10 dollars an hour might seem like its awesome now but if you get caught in the web of bills, you might find it difficult to do anything but work as opposed to taking time to get that competitive edge in America.
