Nigeria debt profile is actually good.

The Federal government debt is about 45 billion dollars. Debt repayment is about $4.5 billion. Which is okay. We can take on an additional $55 billion debt.

The state government is 12 billion dollars. Lagos debt of $1 billion was used to finance the light rail project. Lagos state will earn the money back .

which is almost abandoned now.

The money were stolen in the name of borrowing. Where is the effect of the borrowed money on Nigerians. Except Lagos and few States that invested in infrastructure.

Guy, open your eyes. Ok? Did Lagos state build more roads than the federal government? Can u tell me how many new universities were founded by the Lagos state govt. Infact are u aware that the lagos state owned university is one of the only state universities of its age that does not have a single hostel on campus for its students?

That many of the acts we classify as corruption in Nigeria should actually be classified as stealing. Go and find out the maximum prison sentence in Nigeria for stealing and compare it with d sentence for corruption.

What GEJ was actually saying was that we should remove certain practices classified under the umbrella word, CORRUPTION, to equate stealing. What can be more noble and corruption deterring than that. When the average politician knows that if he embezzles public funds, he will not get a plea bargain or a slap on the wrist, but will be actually be prosecuted as a mere robber or thief.

Do u know what the Nigerian law prescribes for STEALING a mere phone Go and find out and u will realize that president Jonathan was actually right.

These hospitals I am talking about are super standard hospitals. I went to the Dental Hospital at Garrison and I marvelled that such structure was a government hospital. I even saw lots of Old women there for treatment. Because of the crowd, I left to a private Hospital but I sighed, GOD BLESS AMAECHI.

Mister, U are missing the whole point. Was Amechi contesting for reelection in 2015? Is Dakuku Peterside the same as amechi? Rivers is a PDP state, pure and simple. Get that fact straight. If not that amechi defected to APC, that party would not have gotten up to 10% of what it got now.

Mind U. all the developmental achievements of Amechi that u see were done under PDP. The moment he crossed over to APC, he became a failure in Rivers state.

The problem with the kind of opposition APC has been is that it takes criticisms to the extreme. U give CONSTRUCTIVE criticisms on the wrong policies of the ruling party and commendation when they do right. Not the bring down at all cost kind of opposition we have all witnessed in the recent past.

The only reason Tam David West can say this is because when the GEJ government reduced the pump price to N87, the APC still said it was not enough, and if they were in power, they wil make it less. Dont forget its not just what Buhari promised in his recent campaigns. NO. The APC as a party has been making statements for the past 2,3 years now and the new administration will be judged based on the endless criticisms of the APC in the past years.

So dont say Buhari should not be held accountable for what West said, because his party, the APC has been making such pronouncements, This only shows that talk is cheap. Action is what counts. Dont criticize because u want to pull the other party down. It has come to your turn. DO IT. Simple!!!
