ohenhen1:which is almost abandoned now. |
dollarlander:Guy, open your eyes. Ok? Did Lagos state build more roads than the federal government? Can u tell me how many new universities were founded by the Lagos state govt. Infact are u aware that the lagos state owned university is one of the only state universities of its age that does not have a single hostel on campus for its students? Open your eyes! |
ogbonoeba:He never said that, dude. Go and find out what he actually said. What he said was the right thing, better know it today. That many of the acts we classify as corruption in Nigeria should actually be classified as stealing. Go and find out the maximum prison sentence in Nigeria for stealing and compare it with d sentence for corruption. What GEJ was actually saying was that we should remove certain practices classified under the umbrella word, CORRUPTION, to equate stealing. What can be more noble and corruption deterring than that. When the average politician knows that if he embezzles public funds, he will not get a plea bargain or a slap on the wrist, but will be actually be prosecuted as a mere robber or thief. Do u know what the Nigerian law prescribes for STEALING a mere phone Go and find out and u will realize that president Jonathan was actually right. We the people have serious issues of comprehension in this country!!! |
shachris:U see your life So yorubas and ibos are the only tribes in Lagos. right? In fact have u ever been to lagos? Also are u by this saying that no yoruba person voted for pdp in lagos?Dude use your brain!! |
TheGoodJoe:Mister, U are missing the whole point. Was Amechi contesting for reelection in 2015? Is Dakuku Peterside the same as amechi? Rivers is a PDP state, pure and simple. Get that fact straight. If not that amechi defected to APC, that party would not have gotten up to 10% of what it got now. Mind U. all the developmental achievements of Amechi that u see were done under PDP. The moment he crossed over to APC, he became a failure in Rivers state. |
smsdigito:Now everyone listen up. Buhari is the leader of d APC party, as it were, and whatever his party says is his mind. OK? The problem with the kind of opposition APC has been is that it takes criticisms to the extreme. U give CONSTRUCTIVE criticisms on the wrong policies of the ruling party and commendation when they do right. Not the bring down at all cost kind of opposition we have all witnessed in the recent past. The only reason Tam David West can say this is because when the GEJ government reduced the pump price to N87, the APC still said it was not enough, and if they were in power, they wil make it less. Dont forget its not just what Buhari promised in his recent campaigns. NO. The APC as a party has been making statements for the past 2,3 years now and the new administration will be judged based on the endless criticisms of the APC in the past years. So dont say Buhari should not be held accountable for what West said, because his party, the APC has been making such pronouncements, This only shows that talk is cheap. Action is what counts. Dont criticize because u want to pull the other party down. It has come to your turn. DO IT. Simple!!! |
Brugo:mr brugo, what are u talkin abt? i see u as a sensible individual but i hate hypocrisy and double standards. u are askin for proof that he made those promises, right? All the accusations against jonathan, where is d proof? d $20 billion scam(or is it $40billion?) , d N30trillion scam. where are d proofs Was it proven that he stole d money? yet everyone believed and tagged him d most corrupt individual who ever ruled nigeria. do u know dat d pwc preliminary report absolved him of this allegation? honestly u cant hold Mr A to a different standard from Mr B. u did not wait for proof then before believin those lies. why are u lookin for proof now dat he said he ll bring back d girls? |
Brugo:@brugo, pls shut up. dnt say wat u dont knw. was it not GEJ who sent d petroleum industry bill to d house of assembly over 2 years ago? wat did the thieving bastards do wt it? NOTHING!!! They sat on it and refused to pass a bill dat would hav revolutionized d petroleum industry for d benefit of all nigerians. would u now blame jonathan for dat? d problem buhari wil hav wil be wt d house of assembly. mark my words. |
kennydee05:o boy shut up yr mouth. wen u watch apc rallies, dnt u see policemen there too? are d security agencies jst for pdp politicians? do u knw hw many nigerian security operatives follow tinubu around? when we criticize lets be reasonable. d order cuts across board. ok? and it is a welcome development |
kayboy4y:U, my friend, are very daft. Did u even bother to read d article? |
greatnow:U are very right. |
irunoobo:Oh shut up already. your hate filled comments re to say d least daft and intellectually hollow. just keep quiet and learn. pleaseee |
kings09:GBAM!!!! very well said. |
o boy u funny o. look at yr price. hw mch is d toks |
wats d mileage? wats yr last price? im very interested |
NaijaTalkTown:u pple really talk wtout reasonin. so d lokoja- abuja road dat gej completed is nt a project? d same road dat buhari abandoned wen he was ptf chairman. u have forgotten so soon wen u cldnt travel to abuja from kogi state on weekends jst because of d massive holdups on dat road. d federal university, lokoja is nt a project, rgt? d federal okene bypass which is stil ongoin is nt a projct?amongst several others. make una dey talk true for once |
pls wats d price of dis? a serious buyer here |
Barywhyte:mister...d prob i see is dat d fact dat we want it all good all at once, blinds us from d realities of d present strides we are making. u mentioned dat GEJ could not create evn 50,000 jobs. its either u dont live in nigeria or u re just plain ignorant. pple re gettin jobs now more dan eva in our history as a nation. for example, we all agree dat he built 12 new federal universities, 9 of which re in northern nigeria. Guy, who do u tink works in doz institutions if nt nigerians. if only 1000 pple re employed in each of doz schools, do u knw hw many formerly unemployed nigerians re employed nw?? hav u stopped to tink? i for one, am a beneficiary. i currently wrk in one of d institutions and i cant begin to count hw mny new pple re being taken evryday. a friend who jst had his PhD abroad jst got employed in one of d schools. my friends if dat is not progress, pray, wat is dont compare nigeria wt america or britain. compare todays nigeria wt d nigeria of 2009!!! |
[quote author=DaBullIT post=30173090]There is no second Niger bridge and most of the constructions of roads were awarded by states even if its GEJ that released the funds , which he wouldn't have if it wasn't for campaign [/quote hw can u honestly say such a tin? so d completely dualized abuja- lokoja road was awarded by states? do u hw many times dat road was awarded and reawarded by OBJ's govt? or is it d east west road? i can count a least 2 times wen Tony Anenih under OBJ awarded dat contract wtout a single trip of sand goin to site! at least dis man is workin naija in d past 25years hav neva had its federal roads so good. i travelled on d benin- sagamu road yesterday, and its clear nw dat we hav a government dat works. |
dis car is nt evn a 98 model yet u re callin it a 2000 model. dnt u knw wat u re selling sir? i was interestd until i saw d pix |
Go and find out and u will realize that president Jonathan was actually right.
