THE USE OF A GOOD SUCKERS

The type of sucker you.make use of can make or mar your plantain farming business.
I have seen a lot of suckers being use by plantain farmers,reason why most of them do not have result to show for it.

If you are actually serious about making good profit,then you need to source for good suckers.


From my experience,what i have seen 90% of farmers use is the suckers in the first picture.

The disadvantages of the suckers in the first picture is that it takes longer time for it to start bringing leaves meaning that time of harvest will.be between 12 to 14 months before harvesting.
The farm is also susceptible to disease infestation and the suckers from the next generation can not be use to set-up other farms.If you try to use them on other farms,you will be transfering diseases which might destroy the other farm.
I have seen plantain farms worth millions of naira being destroy by disease because of wrong suckers used.

Also there is always not uniformity in the growth of the plantain.
The suckers i used for the plantain farm i showed you above was treated with fungicides and if you notice very well from the picture above,you see that the growth of the plantain were not all that uniform.

The suckers in the second picture is the best and if you want to have a successful and profitable plantain farm,my advise is to use this type.

I used the second type of suckers in the pictures of the 20acres of plantain farm i show you previously on this thread.

I am even very happy for this man because 100% bumper harvest and profit or even more is guaranteed.

I will show you later on this thread how you can produce this type of suckers for your farm
