I think the best way to approach this setups is to place a sell limit at the 50% fibo retracement of the pin bars...

Who is seeing the valid bearish pin bars about to be formed on the 4hrs chart on both AU,NU and to support this setup is the rejection of upper prices by the 21EMA dynamic layer?

Its a simple breakout strategy....

TIME FRAME: 15min,30min,1hr

RULES

1. Draw a vertical line on 4:00hrs and 7:00hrs candles (GMT)

2.look for the high and low between that period and draw two horizontal lines across

3.place two pending orders (BUY STOP, SELL STOP) 10pips each above and below the two horizontal lines

4.target the previous days high/low for your take profit which sometimes can be up to 40-50 pips or use S/R

5.stop loss should be placed 10 pips below and above the high/low of the period (4:00hrs- 7:00hrs)

Note: Always adjust your trade to breakeven +2 once you are up +10 pips

The charts below shows example of the breakout of last week Friday...Divergence and other tools can help you know where the market is likely going to breakout

I hope this will add some pips to the pocket of some people here...

Just a simple way to catch the break up or down...no matter how small..

Nevertheless, i see Frencman euro sell suggestion as too leading but i will rather prefer to also wait for the bearish move confirmation by waiting for the closed 4hr bearish candle to get brached by another 4hr candle just like i wrote here last night



So in my opinion of using a confirmatory parameter to place a trade it is always advisable to wait for a confirmation of trend change before pulling the trigger especially when you are swing trading the trend.so if another bearish 4hr candle breaks the low of the first closed bearish candle by say 10/20pips then i see it safe to sell.

If the number of pips high/low prices between the 2am and 5am period is 15pips or less you can use 5pips above and below the horizontal lines as your pending orders.

If the numbers of pips is >40.... then NO TRAD for that day

If you miss the BUY TRADE i believe you will not miss the SELL

Please do your DUE DILIGENCE and demo trade this strategy for at least 1 or 2 weeks before going live with it...

naijababe: I am just seeing this post and I am completely floored as I have no idea what exactly would necessitate this kinda name calling. FYI, forex/trading is a lonely path, you have to learn to own your decisions when you pull the trigger and take responsibility for your actions all the time.

I am not interested in proving shyte to anybody and if thinking of me as a losing trader makes you sleep better at night, that's all good too. I am not looking for investors neither am I selling anything. Am I a successful trader? That's for me to know and you to wonder!
