naijababe: You are missing the point, prices are the same at any given time on all platforms however what differs is EOD as I said before. If their EOD are different, it's a no brainer that the 4h bars/candles will also be different because they will obviously close at different times.

Case in point - If you get a shooting star on a GMT platform at midnight GMT, there's a very excellent chance that you'll get a bearish engulfing pattern or a dark cloud cover on the eastern time platform at 7pm on the 4h TF (same point in time but different times due to times zones). Both will have given sell signals on the daily and 4H TF respectively.

I personally do not see why this should be such be such a big deal, I use a GMT broker and frankly if they weren't I won't be be bothered as I'd already be aware of the obvious drawback and take it into account. This is the singular reason why I stopped using daily pivots but swing highs and lows instead.

FOREXMART: Icmb broker is the one i use. I do my analysis on a gmt broker but place my trades on my regular broker mt4 which not a gmt broker.

@big sis naijababe if you disagree pull up two different broker mt4 with different timzone say Asian, usa or European broker. switch all the timeframe to 4hrs and see if you will get the same patterns on all the platforms. Or better still run patterns recognition indicator on all of them and see how surprised you will be. Or compare overbought and oversold conditions on these platforms with same indicator and parameters. I am not saying anyone has to open a new account.

Just go to Icmb(International capital markets brokers) download their platform and run a demo account. Do your analysis there but place your trade on your live trading platform. I chose Icmb cos they have everything from eurusd to crude, Google, dax, yahoo, sugar and even soybeans if will ever trade that. I dont have a live account with them cos they are based in the middle east and not regulated.

I have 2 brokers , i loaded some EA and INDICATORS on their platform both at d same time but 1 of the brokers platform will not display any of the EA & INDICATOR no matter what i do, i ve lost resonable amount of money with that paticular broker trading like a BLIND MAN. Pls house do tell if their are other ways to load the EA & INDICATORs or if it time to run for my DEAR LIFE ! Looking forward to your swift and lovely responses. Regards.

How many of us can hang on to our position in the midst of a choppy market like this? Trying to force the market to trend when it's not ready can be a traders nightmare because you will be trading with lots of emotions thereby making a lot of trading mistakes.

I have never been having problems with my entry and exit..i have always had a RANGING market as my greatest challenge i don't know if i am alone on this oooo

I usually chicken out of a good trade prematurely with a small loss only to seat and watch the market move and leave me behind....personally i rarely trade breakouts from a tight range coz you can be a victim of occasional false break rather i like taking my trades from the top or bottom..

Anyways am still testing a code that allows me hold on to my position even when the market goes into consolidation as witnessed since yesterday.

So i either take little profit or hold on with BE.... GREED is another issue here sha coz for me it's the 100's of pips i love to see..

But am trying to take it small small now sha like WINNINGWAYZ and ROZAY

When am done with the testing i will share with the family...

I believe this will really help some people here..

FOREXMART: @roaxy Your signals are at least 12 bars late, actually 17 bars in the first circle. If you check my pic you will see that the same SSL gann 4h indicator gave an alert for a possible down trend but on your chart that signal came 17 hours later. Now in the current circle price has not broken the yellow line on yours but it has broken on mine and am at phase 2 waiting for an upward break out to coincide with the analysis I posted to WINNINGWAYS earlier.

Just my two cents.

Note: I have not changed the parameters of any of the indicators.

Please which broker are you using? you made a point about the lateness of signals between different brokers due to time zone...

On several occasion Fxopen generate signals a day before Instaforex using same system...i usually take advantage of it to enter and exit early

mehn those spreads are cool bro ...i like that EURNZD pair but usually avoid it because of the spread with instaforex
