A few important points to make: In the next few weeks I would be too busy to visit this page regularly. Lagos internship fair, which is the major remaining fair for the year, will be held about the 8th of December (Date hasn't been finalized yet). Survey would commence next week for 3 days or thereabout. FOR STIPENDS-RELATED issues: SURE-P plans to start sorting out payment related issues from next week. If at the end of this month, your stipend issues is not sorted out, send me a comprehensive email with the company information/Your personal information (Send detailed emails). For those that asked for one form of assistance or the other from me but couldn't get it, I want you to know that it isn't because of lack of Political will , not for lack of interest in assisting but time and a couple of other things. I have tried to be as helping as I can be, I believe my little effort here helped a person or two. Cheers all.

4 Play: It's hilarious that there were protests in respect of the petrol price increase when most of the Nigerian poor are rural poor whose petrol use is relatively minimal. Kerosene is more important to the poor but the long running dislocation of its market price from the official price hardly generates attention.

They should scrap the fuel subsidy and retain only a kerosene subsidy. Fuel subsidy is a retrogressive welfare measure as it rewards the wealthy more, they having a far higher petrol consumption than any segment of society.

u shld do ur analysis well, both d rich and d poor wil be affected by fuel subsidy cos increase in fuel price means increase in transportation fee then increase in goods and services.
