No state in Southeast is like that, Enugu is no exceptions, averagely Enugu people can afford to eat 3square meals a day, go to school because it's almost free.

Coal camp was where Enugu TOWNSHIP development started. You cannot mention Enugu TOWNSHIP without mentioning coal camp. Check the meaning of city centre , it doesn't mean the centre of a city.

Look for poor people elsewhere, not Enugu, the people in Enugu live above poverty rate by far.

Enugu is filled with poor people. Those civil servants are poor. 70% of them are paid 20k per month, except for minimum wage that brought it to 30k. That's poverty which is not the fault of the masses but government actions and inactions.

Before you respond again, check the poverty index by NBS and tell us the poverty ranking of Enugu state.

There's nothing like discipline. Enugu is a poor town filled with poor people and I think that is why no one migrates there except poor civil servants that are mainly indigenes of the state. I have been to Enugu several times. The population of Enugu is about the lowest in SE and Nigeria at large, so why won't the buses be the ones pursuing the low population in the town

When Enugu state is mentioned, naturally a comparison with Ibadan will spring up and bring about ethnic bragging. Enugu is smaller than Ibadan and with a lesser population. I see no basis for comparison. A city with few people and small land mass is easier to maintain and beautify compared to a larger one with population surge. which is why Lagos has mainland and island. Besides, that the op took a beautiful picture of one road in Independence Layout does not mean the whole city is like that. You have stated the truth. The areas you mentioned even constitute over 80% of Enugu TOWNSHIP, but they used propaganda to show us areas around government house which is not up to .01% of the town

They don't jump out of vehicles no matter what, you must park well o, they don't wait for vehicle anywhere else unless at designated bustops.
They obey traffic light like mahhd Enugu people are disciplined.
