Stop Calling Them Terrorists; Call Them Ordinary Criminals” — Nigerian Army Fires Back at Governor Makinde Over Oyo School Kidnap The Defence Headquarters has faulted Governor Seyi Makinde for calling the kidnappers of Oyo schoolchildren terrorists. According to the military, the attack was an isolated criminal act and not proof that terrorists have a strong base in the South-West. DHQ also said security forces had already cleared criminal hideouts around Old Oyo National Park and urged residents not to panic. However, the statement has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians arguing that anyone who attacks schools and kidnaps children should be treated as a terrorist, regardless of the name used. Do you agree with the Nigerian Army or Governor Makinde? Copied

An Open Letter to the Traditional Obas, Retired Generals, and Governors of Yorubaland A Sovereign Cry for the Soul of Yorubaland: The Siege on Our Only Industry To Their Imperial and Royal Majesties, The Traditional Obas of Yorubaland, To Our Respected Retired Generals of Yoruba Origin, To the Executive Governors of the Southwest States, Excelencies, Your Majesties, and Distinguished Leaders, I write this letter with a heavy heart, burdened by a dark cloud that is quickly gathering over our beloved homeland. We can no longer afford the luxury of diplomatic silence or politically correct statements. A catastrophic calamity is knocking on the doors of Yorubaland, and if we do not act immediately, the future of our people will be permanently compromised. The recent terrifying incident in Ogbomoso—where terrorists targeted and abducted children from a school—is not just another statistic in the national security crisis. It is a direct, deliberate declaration of war on the very foundation of who we are. The Threat to Our Ultimate Industry: Education Every region has its economic backbone. For some, it is oil; for others, agriculture or commerce. But for the Yoruba people, our greatest, most cherished industry has always been Education. Education is the legacy our ancestors gave us to compete on the global stage. It is our equalizer, our pride, and our currency. By bringing the blueprint of school abductions into Yorubaland, these terrorists are not just kidnapping individuals; they are assassinating our future. They want to induce fear: To make parents too terrified to send their children to school. They want to paralyze our communities: A society without education is a society destined for poverty, ignorance, and ultimate subjugation. They are targeting our softest underbelly: If our schools become hunting grounds, our unique economic and cultural edge is dead. A Call to Our Three Pillars of Leadership We cannot fold our arms and watch our homeland turn into a theater of bloodshed and despair. This crisis demands a unified, ferocious response from the three pillars of our leadership: 1. To Our Executive Governors: Total Coordination We appreciate the establishment of Amotekun, but the current threat has outgrown routine patrols. You must treat this Ogbomoso incident as a regional emergency. We need aggressive intelligence sharing, fortified school security protocols, and immediate tactical deployments around vulnerable border towns and educational institutions. Political differences must be completely set aside to defend the Western region. 2. To Our Retired Generals: Deploy Your Expertise Yorubaland boasts some of the finest, most experienced military minds this continent has ever produced. You have fought wars and managed complex security architectures globally. Do not sit back in retirement while your ancestral homes are overrun. We need you to form an emergency advisory council to guide our governors and local security apparatus with actionable, hard-hitting counter-terrorism strategies. 3. To Our Traditional Obas: Fortify the Domains Your Majesties, you are the custodians of our culture and our lands. The ears of the ancestors are yours. We implore you to activate local intelligence networks. No stranger enters a community without a footprint. Work closely with hunters, local vigilantes, and town unions to ensure that every forest, hamlet, and abandoned space in your domain is thoroughly policed. Conclusion: History Will Judge Us If we allow the virus of school abductions to fester in the Southwest, the calamity that will follow will spare no one—neither the rich in their mansions nor the poor in their boys' quarters. If our children cannot go to school in peace, then the Yoruba nation has no future. We have the resources, we have the military intellect, and we have the royal authority to stop this monster before it consumes us. Let Ogbomoso be the last time these terrorists ever dare to touch our children. Let us rise up, unite, and defend the pride of Odùduwà. Yours faithfully, Otunba Dare Adelekan A Concerned Citizen of Yorubaland Copied |
Pastor Adeboye and his double standards. Why didn't he did same during Jonathan? Instead he used his old age to do tribal protest. |

Listen up, men! Fred Amata got married to Agatha. As time went by, she wanted to run a Talk Show called Inside Out. Her husband used his leverage and clout as a popular Nollywood actor to birth the show. He was the director of the show. He also uses his goodwill to bring his celebrity friends to the show. It was a hit back in the days. Later on, Fred and Agatha got divorced. Two years ago, the veteran opened up about how his sacrifices to his ex-wife's Talk Show ended in vain. He spoke out of pains following their daughter's wedding without his knowledge. Emeka Ike was already an established actor when he got married to his first wife. She only brought her beauty and virginity to their marriage. The actor sponsored her education. Thanks to his benevolence, she is a graduate today. After a while, she filed for divorce, accusing the actor of DV. Emeka was granted sole custody of their four children. He released their kids to his ex-wife when he relocated to Germany. Today, he is estranged from his first son. All his sacrifice went to Ovia River. Frank Edoho got married to Sandra. He also sponsored her education. He set up interior design for her. In order to make her business to be successful, he acquired interior design and photography skills. Skills that he didn't need. After his wife's business became a hit, Sandra started surrendering her kuntus to Chike. The Rora crooner piped nonsense out of her kuntus. When the news of her infidelity came to light, she labelled the media personality as a broke man who lived off her throughout the duration of their marriage. Brothers, learn from the life experiences of Fred Amata, Emeka Ike, and Frank Edoho. Stop elevating your spouses. If you married her as a primary school leaver, maintain the status quo. Women are loyal to their feelings, not to a man's sacrifice. Copied

God thank you for giving us a second goal, but it is not kunya, Mbeumo, Amad nor Martinez that I want to score, it's my boy, Casemero that I'm praying for to score his final goal for us at old Trafford. We want a parting gift from our outgoing baby face. |
