whatlyf: I believe that PDP has no business occupying Aso Rock from May 29, 2015. APC is in the best position to dislodge the imcumbent party. This is how APC will defeat PDP:
1. Transparent Primaries at the Presidential and States level or Majority agreed concensus. Machineries should be put in place to tackle post primaries bickering.

2. The NE and NW are our stronghold. The APC need a sellable running mate from the South.

3. SS/SE is the traditional stronghold of Jonathan, the good news is that APC have potential to get a chunk of votes from Rivers, Edo and Imo states.

4. The APC should pick seasoned Administrators like Rochas Okorocha, Pat Utomi, Babatunde Fashola, Fola Adeola or any sellable Administrator as the VP to Presidential Candidate.

5. SW will be the decider. The APC should capitalise on the relative unpopularily of the PDP in SW. Fashola's goodwill and Tinubu brilliance will do this job.
Should Aregbesola win Osun state again, that will be a bigger plust for APC. Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos are very vital. Anything can happen in Ondo and Ekiti states.

6. The APC should campaign vigorously in SS and SE regions as well as other parts of the country.

7. APC manifesto will do the magic. It must be explained and touch the hearts of even the fiercest critic.

Abagworo: Obasanjo did better with less funds if you must bring him in. Even Abacha did better with much less funds.

Go back to my last contribution and understand the issue on ground. Igbos are being used as a fishing bait for 2015 elections by fellow Igbos because of money. They are trying to create an Igbo vs other Nigerians crisis with Jonathan as the fish while Igbos are the bait. Ijaws are neutral, Yorubas are neutral, Hausa/Fulanis are neutral, Ogbiya(Jonathan's ethnic goup) are neutral. Any Igbo man that attempts to be neutral is called saboteur and attacked by Jonathan's employees but Jonathan himself is neutral.

On a side note, I've never claimed Jonathan has not done anything for Igbos or other Nigerians. Go back to my past contributions. Jonathan has tried his best but he lacks the clout to solve the things drawing us backwards because he wasn't born a leader but found himself leading. The major reason I seem not to romance with him at the moment is the character and body language of tribalism, religious intolerance, corruption and nepotism being exhibited by his closest supporters and spokesmen especially Olisa Metuh and Asari. This is because they are staking the life of my brothers(People of Igbo ethnic origin) spread across the country and doing their legitimate business for the ambition of Jonathan to stay in power beyond 2015. The idea is to cause massive killing of Igbos through the actions or inactions of his associates to draw sympathy by pitching gullible Igbos against their host communities. They are doing it everywhere including here on Nairaland backed by some paid Igbos.

Abagworo: In a nutshell you've accepted the fact that only Onitsha-Owerri road is complete. The OP will soon show us evidence supporting my claims too. The Owerri-PH road is also under construction and in fact Umuagwo to Owerri is complete but the area between Umuagwo and Omerelu is nothing to write home about.

The only road that runs through the Southeast that is dualized and in 100% good state is the Onitsha/Owerri road. The rest are death traps claimed to be under construction but not completed. Prove me wrong you coward.

The Onitsha/Owerri road was 99% complete when Yar'Adua died. What was remaining was a 2km stone-based portion inside Ihiala LGA.

Abagworo: Don't worry about Abakaliki roads because they are not the focus of the thread. I've not been to Abakaliki for the past 2 years and I've not gone to Lagos or Abuja by road. My comments are based on citizen reports and Ore-Benin is good just like Onitsha to Owerri 99% completed by Yar'Adua government. What I expect is pictures of bad road taken between Onitsha and Abakaliki on the federal highways while I expect a beautiful picture of smooth marked highway between Ore and Benin and between Niger bridge and Ziks roundabout Onitsha. The rest will be bad sight to behold.

Let us patiently wait for what Ngene has in stock before criticising. My analysis is that Ore-Benin is likely good and even all the way to Asaba but Onitsha-Awka-Enugu-Ebonyi will be in disarray and as usual some Igbos that collected money will not see anything wrong with that. I've written earlier that all the federal roads in the Southeast are bad. Owerri/Port Harcourt, Enugu/Onitsha, Enugu/Port Harcourt, Aba/Ikot-Ekpene, Umuahia-Ikot-Ekpene, Nnewi/Arondizuogu/Okigwe etc. The Onitsha/Owerri road was 99% complete when Yar'Adua died and Jonathan came in to complete 2km distance from Ihiala junction to Okija which was at stone-base level. Today that's the only completed highway in the Southeast.
