I'm yet to believe this Biafra of a thing anyway cause I am surrounded by Igbo and none of them ever take this serious , half of my good friends that I can bank on are of Igbo tribe both locally and abroad.

Yoruba should try and stop making comments on anything Biafra threads whatsoever because their plans is to ignite war through hate words, they are not just saying it because its the way it's. They are saying it because they are looking for a bait and Alibi.

In addition. You must learn that must of the hate threads are created by non-Igbo's.

Let them see that their words can cut you and you’ll never be free of the mockery. If they want to give you a name take it make it your own. Then they can’t hurt you with it anymore.

Hello everyone.. I Have been a silent reader of this great forum... I had my interview on june 13 but was denied and I am planning to reapply again this August due to some circumstances... Here my transcript goes thus:

Me:I am going to Chicago by June 30 to visit my cousin ( mentioned his name) who is a public accountant just for 2 weeks only. He came to visit me last year and I promised to return back his visit

Me:I am a marketer of building materials.. Majorly cement., I have 3 sales men 2 driver, 2trucks and my office is located at bla bla bla
Vo:what brand of cement
Me:Dangote cement
Vo: Are you married?
Me: No I am single but engaged and I will be getting married by September(vo:oh congrats) and also I have a child out of wedlock.
VO:Have you traveled before
Me:Yes, I have be to pritioria, South Africa.. That was December last year and I went for vacation and also used the opportunity to see an old Time friend
VO:How much is your take home pay
Me:I pay my self an average of 358,000 per month

Then the next thing I heard was sorry, your visa cannot be approved now.. I smiled and I said thank you.

Now I wanna reapply cos I already promised my fiancee that I am gonna do a little shopping for our wedding(likes of my suit and her wedding gown) but after I was denied, I gave up but she's pestering me to reapply so I can do the shopping majorly all together and see my cousin too...

In the first place I didn't see the reason why I was denied and also.. Now that I wanna re apply, what are my chances of getting approved.. (I know no one can predict the chances but I just wanna hear from the house)... Thanks

I think you need to reconstruct how you answer VO questions and be sincere with your application next time. I can tell that your application is not straightforward and your job profile sound doggy.

Good Afternoon Everyone, I must commend you all for all the information. It's my first time here and I need advise and suggestions please.

I am about to apply for a UK Visitor visa 6 months with the intention to spend 6 days in the UK. I previously schooled in the UK for a masters program and came back in 2015 a month before my visa expiry date. I currently work and earn 150k a month and I have my 6 months recent payslips. I will be staying in a hotel in Coventry and will visit London and Birmingham just once for some tourist activities so I can manage my funds. My issue is that I do not have enough money to cover all my expenses. I will be covering my hotel, feeding and shopping allowance and intend to spend 300k. My dad wants to pay for my flight tickets but he wants to use his company account to support this claim as most of his money is saved in the company account. I am a director in his company, although i do not currently work there but my name is on the CAC documents. I have the following documents;

Bank statement (Salary/Spending account with about 100k and Savings account with about 500k)
Hotel reservation
Itineary
Cover letter
Dad's personal and company account
CAC documents
Letter from bank stating my dad as signatory to his company account
Dad's bio data page
Employment Letter
Letter from Company to embassy approving my leave.

I have tried to explain everything mentioned here in great details in my application and cover letter, I would like to know what my chances are in getting the visa.

My other alternative will be to use a male friend as a sponsor. He is a UK citizen and currently lives there and has a very good job with a bank. I am very skeptical about this because am worried I might be denied seeing that he is a male friend. I fear they might think I want to run away and stay with him.

Please kindly advise on the best way to go about this.

If I were you. I will have my dad move the fund into my account and back it up with source of the money and wait for another two weeks before applying.

No it must be 6 months unless the account is less than 6 months old. This you must explain in a cover note.
