There are 2 types. Upgrade and Tuning

Upgrade/facelift is modifying the exterior or interiors of a car to a more recent model. Here you can change headlights, bumpers, tail lights, upholstery, dashboard elements etc.

Tuning refers to upgraded you engine. You tune it up. Give it more power. More speed. Higher horsepower. Better performance. Better sound. You can go on youtube and search for "sleeper vs Lamborghini". You will see where a tuned up 1995 Volkswagen golf will dust the latest Lamborghini
