Assuming... Department of Agric have 100 ASPIRANTS. Out of which, 60 candidate scored 50% and above..
Probably if there cut off is 55...
45% of the 60 candidates (=27) will be admitted through merit list.
30% of the 60 candidates (=18)will be admitted through locality
And 25% of the 60 candidates(=15) will be admitted through ELDS
The total cumulative of each department will stand as average he's referring to.

You need not to be waiting for any news concerning results... its out and listing have followed immediately..
Ui are very strict when it comes to screening...they are always looking for way (you wouldn't get informed) so as to get ride.
I could remember vividly last year, they didnt make any advertisement for DE, we just keep checking and behold;it opened and was accessible for less than 10days.
Before you know it now, you'll just see the headline after 3-4days of Cutoff ,that They've released Admission List.

If anything is bothering you, I'd advice you to go there (admission office) and ask whatever you want to know
