yemre:You took it out of my mouth. Exactly my thoughts. I can imagine frustrations from lazy stakeholders who are not ready to do their background checks. |
NaijaGoBetter2:You are a clown 🤡 Jaguda ko barawo ni. I love your sense of humour |
Lagos State identity will never be compromised. Peace and love, sometimes, can make you loose guard, but overbearing attitude of some beneficiaries will reawaken your consciousness. |
And we are so quick to condemn our leaders as if they are not a perfect reflection of what our society is. We all need attitudinal change for our country to be great. |
This is actually expected from our tiers of government. Subsidy removal has made more funds available for governance. We have to mount more pressure on our state governor's so they don't embark on White Elephant projects. |
This is a reflection of one good attribute of Jagaban. He is a bold leader who doesn't care about whose ox is gored. One would have expected him to chicken out because of Second Term ambition and allow some people with entitlement mentality dictate to him. A region once had all the three organs of government headed by it at the same time. Taking the back seat for just less than two years out of power now becomes a serious issue. Even if this decision to redistribute power would be at the expense of his second term, he is going to be remembered for his boldness to call some people's bluffs. |
POTUS Trump, a very controversial man. He has succeeded in confusing both his supporters and adversaries. Some of his endeavours favour those who opposed his emergence, some favour his supporters and some of his policies favour no one. USA is on a long thing. |
We are watching. Everything that has a beginning must surely have an end. Violation of Senate rules and sexual harassment are two separate cases that should be handled differently. |
Lagos for Show. Eko ko gba gbere rara o. |
No doubt, Nigeria shall be great. |
Just wish the death rumour isn't true. But Chief Ladoja, where are you? |
FTC If you are a pro or anti- ElRufai, you have to take your time. The political climate is very unpredictable for now. His "Power must return to Southern Nigeria after Buhari regime" stance made him venerable. But his uncontrolled outbursts these days should be seen beyond Ministerial Appointment failure. Is El-Rufai acting a well-scripted game plan? How did all his anointed political children from Kaduna State (Governor, Speaker House of Representatives, Senators and others) easily and suddenly become adversaries? When Tinubu was shoved aside at a point during Buhari era, he was not seen granting interviews here and there against the government he helped to enthrone. El-Rufai suddenly becoming Atiku's political strategist can shed some light on why he didn't cross the Ministerial Appointment hurdles. Politicians will tell you what they want you to know only. Fingers crossed. |
Lemme give them the benefit of doubt. Good news. |
May God deliver this nation. The country is populated with unpatriotic citizens who are only known for accusing their leaders for administrative ineptitude. |
ActiveFarms:Approximately 1,500 cobs |
Kingsmeal:No Sir. When we talk about the governors who are specialists in strangulating Local Government, Seyi Makinde is the first on the list. For the past five years, nothing is happening in Oyo State Local Governments. In fact, Seyi Makinde is the one paying the Local Governments staff salaries as all their funds from the Federal Government go to him. The only staff you will meet in the Local Governments Secretariats are gatekeepers and high ranking directors. Any capital projects executed in Oyo State were handled by the Governor's personal firms. Though, nobody can take away the glory of prompt payment of workers' salaries from him, one of the reasons he won overwhelmingly in the last general election. |
Yen yen yen! Edo no be Lagos right? What crime was committed by Oshiomole that has not been committed in manifolds by Obaseki? |
That was a hasty decision from Samuel Eto'o. Indomitable Lions didn't perform so badly. They were unfortunate to play against Nigeria in the Round of 16. Perhaps, they could have progressed beyond that stage if they played against our noisy neighbour Ghana. The Super Eagles we are proud of today have been underperforming for some years back. African football is evolving, so no country has the long term dominance again. If your team performs below par, go back to the drawing board and re-strategize. |
Nigerian politics! The more you look, the less you see. Kwankwaso and his Kano Governor, Abba Yusuf are doing a yeoman's job to destroy whatever hope PDP has in Kano State. This implies PDP will not be influential as opposition party and indirectly benefits the party at the centre. |
The Oracle has spoken. It's what it is. Those guys are never cultured. You can only notice their true identity when you have a different opinion from theirs. Many people who hitherto believed in one "Andrews Liver Salt" political movement have learnt their lessons. They can drag their grandparents on the ground for any minute different opinion. |
This is not bad. More robust palliatives should be provided. Jagaban should do better. |
The die is now cast. Oshiomole, just grab your chair, get enough pop corn, a chilled bottle of champagne and sidon dey look. One of your two boys who claimed they were fighting "godfatherism" will soon become a godfather while the other one will directly or indirectly want to associate with you. |

That is the wish of every patriotic Nigerian. However, it is not yet Uhuru. You guys must not rest on your oars as there are still pockets of attacks here and there. God bless Nigeria. |

To what extent? No be Nigerian politicians? The end will apparently justify the means. |
It's easier said than done. When he was given the football administrative role in Delta State, I doubt Jay Jay performed any wonder. It's easier to criticize Sha. |
Hahahaha! #EdoNoBeLagos indeed. Karma is an incorruptible judge. Life Lesson: Be patient, steadfast and sincere. Those who conspired against you shall be consumed by their conspiracy and run back to you when the centre can no longer hold. Governor Obaseki has shown the tax collectors at the helms of affairs of a certain political party his true colours. Didn't he pay them to get their party ticket from the loyal party members? Senator Oshiomole, kindly draw your boy, the embattled Deputy Governor Philip Shuaib, close, rub his head, ask him how market, tell him Karma is a bitch and console him that shit happens. |
When you overrate your political prowess, this is what you get. Some myopic cabal members of the last administration cajoled this man that he would be the annointed APC candidate and he gullibly fell for it. How could he have been able to subdue the political connections of the Nigerian Political Emperor in person of Jagaban? It's not all about running a 2KM distance to prove your fitness 🤣 And when the coast became clear, he didn't choose his fight wisely. After the presidential primaries, Asiwaju visited all the contestants to placate them, this move I praised him for. "If you cannot endure the agonies of defeat, you don't deserve to enjoy the soothing relief of victory". |
