Chief Ladoja was right. He had successfully clipped Baba Adedibu's wings and tamed his excesses. But Baba Adedibu got succour from the central government.
It's a simple analogy of: " A foe to my foe is my folk".
I could remember how people all over the country, across political and ethnic divides, condemned the illegal impeachment.
Those who impeached Ladoja didn't secure anything close to two-third (2/3) majority but were successful with the aid of NURTW thugs and police who were acting the written script from the central government.
Akala's government was very unpopular to the governed except the politicians who are ready to jump ship at every available opportunity.

Since the only operational airport is Owerri airport, let the government collaborate to fix with immediate effect all the roads from both abia, enough, anambra and ebonyi that leads to the airport.

The road leading to the Owerri Airport has to be fixed. That road and others like Aba Road and portions of Wetheral Road need attention. It should not be all about chasing wrongdoings of the former Gov. Rochas Okorocha.

I am not absolving Sen. Rochas Okorocha of any wrongdoing but this incumbent Gov. Ihedioha is a clown.

Azikwe formed a government with the north (Balewa) by betraying the south.

The Igbos murdered Akintola and other Yoruba leaders in 1966 coup, they betrayed the south.

Alex Ekwueme formed a government with the north (Shagari) by betraying the south.

The Igbos voted Yar’adua in 2007 by betraying their own (Orji Kalu) for the Fulani and Inturn betraying the south.

Awolowo remained in the opposition up to his death and the Igbos made sure they allied with the northerners at the expense of the south, did you ever see the Yorubas termed them betrayals?

If traditional rulers are still referred to as custodians of culture and tradition based on historical antecedents, an Alaafin remains the foremost Yoruba king, come rain come sun.
