Former Tottenham and Chelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho has agreed a Three-year contract deal to Join AS Roma as Head Coach ahead of the 2021/2022 Season.

Jose Mourinho, Who recently signed a contract deal with talkSPORT and SunSport last week; was sacked by Tottenham despite qualifying the for the EFL Cup Final this season, which Tottenham lose 0-1 Manchester City.

The 58-year old Portuguese is expected to replace Paulo Fonseca at the end of this season in Italy.

Jose Mourinho, who once coached Serie A 2019/2020 title winner, Inter Milan between 2008 and 2010, leads the Nerrazzuri to two Scudetto titles and a UEFA Champion league title.

On his speech after signing the new deal with AS Roma, Jose Mourinho says ” I am very happy and I appreciate the Friedkin Family for accepting me to lead this wonderful club and to be part of their vision”. He further wishes Paulo Fonseca all the best and hope the media will appreciate he will only speak further in due course.

A statement from AS Roma President, Dan Friedkin and Vice President Ryan Friedkin says ” We are delighted and happy to welcome Jose Mourinho into the Roma Family. A great Champion who have won every Trophies at every level, Jose will provide tremendous leadership and experience to our ambitious project.

“His appointment is a huge step in building a long term and consistent winning culture throughout the club, He said.

Jose Mourinho has Coached Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Porto, Tottenham and now AS Roma.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is back on top again reclaiming the title of the world’s richest person. The eccentric billionaire’s wealth shot up to $199.9 billion after SpaceX concluded another funding round.

This vaulted him atop the Bloomberg Billionaires Index for the second time this year. Musk surpassed Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, who briefly dethroned him as the world’s richest person after Tesla shares fell, dragging Musk’s net worth. Bezos’s net wealth is valued at $194.2 billion.

Musk’s space startup, SpaceX raised $850 million in fresh funding this month from a group of investors led by Sequoia Capital. The rocket company is valued at $74 billion after the round, which is a 60% jump from August.

This has helped push up Musk’s net worth by around $11 billion, according to the index. Besides, the billionaire also invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to a chat on Clubhouse, the audio-chat-based social media app.

A spokesperson for the Kremlin said that although Putin isn’t active on social media, Musk’s invitation was “undoubtedly very interesting.”

Bezos, who had held the title of the world’s richest person for over three years until last month, had regained his number one position with a net worth of $191.2 billion for a brief period of time this week, knocking off the Tesla chief from the top spot.

Musk has been at the front and center of some of the biggest market events so far this year. The eccentric billionaire fanned the flames of GameStop Corp share rally and sent the stocks of Shopify Inc., Signal Advance Inc., Etsy Inc., and CD Projekt SA rolling with his booster shot tweets.

He also stirred up the price of Bitcoin and even Dogecoin, a little-known cryptocurrency that surged after his tweet earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin raced past $50,000 days after Tesla disclosed that it had bought $1.5 billion worth of the cryptocurrency.

Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos is back as the world’s richest person after Tesla shares fell, resulting in a slight erosion in Elon Musk’ wealth.

Tesla shares were down 2.4 per cent on Tuesday and Musk lost $4.6 billion, slipping to the second position on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a ranking of the world’s 500 wealthiest people.

Bezos returned as the world’s richest man with a net worth of $191.2 billion.

Last month, Musk became the world’s richest person, as his net worth crossed $185 billion after Tesla’s share price increased.

He took the top spot from Bezos, who had held it since 2017.

Tesla has surged in value this year, and hit a market value of $700 billion last month, making the electric car maker worth more than Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, GM and Ford combined.

Musk’s net worth increased by more than $150 billion and Tesla’s share price surged a massive 743 per cent last year.

Tesla last week announced it has invested $1.5 billion in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

The announcement led to a surge in the price of one Bitcoin, that has even surpassed $50,000 per coin.

Tesla said it will also “begin accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for our products in the near future.” After vouching for Bitcoin, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has now said that if major Dogecoin cryptocurrency holders sell their coins, he will give them his full support.

Facebook says it is temporarily banning ads that promote weapon accessories and protective equipment in the United States ahead of Inauguration Day and at least through Jan. 22.

The company said in a blog post, Saturday about Inauguration Day preparations that the move was being made “out of an abundance of caution".

“We already prohibit ads for weapons, ammunition and weapon enhancements like silencers. But we will now also prohibit ads for accessories such as gun safes, vests and gun holsters in the US,” Facebook said.

Facebook previously announced it is cracking down on the “Stop the Steal” rallying cry in an emergency move to head off potential violence before President Donald Trump leaves office and President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in to take his place.

Facebook said Friday that it’s “monitoring for signals of violence or other threats” both in Washington, D.C., and across all states and “have implemented a series of additional measures to continue preventing attempts to use our services for violence,” which include its ongoing pause of all political advertising.

Tech Giant Google Says it has completed its $2.1 billion acquisition of fitness-gadget maker Fitbit, a deal that could help the internet company grow even stronger while U.S. government regulators pursue an antitrust case aimed at undermining its power. Thursday’s completion of the acquisition comes 14 months after Google announced a deal that immediately raised alarms.

Google makes most of its money by selling ads based on the information it collects about its billions of users’ interests and whereabouts. Privacy watchdogs feared it might exploit Fitbit to peer even deeper into people’s lives.

But Google wound up entering a series of commitments in Europe and other parts of the world pledging it won’t use the health and fitness data from Fitbit’s 29 million users to sell more ads. It insists it is more interested in adding Fitbit to its expanding arsenal of internet-connected products, which include smartphones, laptops, speakers, cameras and thermostats. “This deal has always been about devices, not data, and we’ve been clear since the beginning that we will protect Fitbit users’ privacy,” Rick Osterloh, Google’s senior vice president of devices and services, wrote in a Thursday blog post.

Vehicles discontinued in 2020 posted sales of nearly 559,000 units in 2019, representing fewer than 1 in 20 models sold in the U.S., according to car-research site Edmunds. That was down from 1.02 million in 2013.

Here are some of the major vehicles discontinued in 2020:

1. Chevrolet Sonic
When it came out nearly a decade ago, the Chevy Sonic was billed as an example of Detroit’s ability to make small and youthful cars. GM featured the subcompact car in a 2012 Super Bowl commercial in a skydiving stunt to the tune of the band Fun’s song “We Are Young.”

2. Toyota Yaris
Both the hatchback and sedan versions of the Toyota Yaris are going away after the 2020 model year. Toyota remains committed to more-popular passenger cars like the midsize Camry and compact Corolla. But Toyota has been paring down its lineup of small cars for several years. The company discontinued its Scion brand in 2016 and recently discontinued the Prius C, a smaller version of the main Prius hybrid.

3. Honda Fit
Talk about fading away in the night. The Honda Fit was often hailed as symbolic of Honda’s ability to appeal to younger buyers. But the car was discontinued quietly in 2020, placing it in the same boat as the Yaris and Sonic. They are simply the latest in a series of subcompact cars that have been eliminated in recent years, including the Ford Fiesta and Fiat 500.

Australia has welcomed 2021 with a stunning Sydney firework display hailed as a 'beacon of hope' for the New Year.

Crowds have been banned from gathering at the harbour - which usually sees around a million people pack in to watch the show.

Last year the fireworks were also almost cancelled due to the deadly spread of wildfires across thousands of miles.

Ahead of the main show, a message reading 'stay covid safe' was projected onto a pylon.

Earlier New Zealand entered the New Year with a firework display in Auckland.

Crowds gathered at the waterfront to watch the show as the country entered 2021 11 hours before the UK, according to GMT.
