Please, a very quick one........how do you address your initial refusal reason based on the purpose of visit. Did you choose another course or stick to the same course to address the reason. I will appreciate your response to this. This.

Please could someone advise if this PACE (Professional, Applied and Continuing Education) graduate diploma in financial management from University of Winnipeg is considered career progression for someone who has about 10 years cognate experience in accounting and finance. I will gurus prompt response. Thank you.

So sorry about this , if you were refused for only purpose of visit , no need for notes because it’s obvious already- it means your course doesn’t correlate with what you have been doing or what you studied in school .
It’s straight forward, just change your program to something related and write a good Sop .
Linking them together, they are not really similar for business administration deals financial planning while accounting is mainly book keeping.
That’s my 2 cents , but you can wait for the gurus to talk .

Thank you Nikky6 for your candid response. My accounting course I did both at hnd and bsc level isn't just only about book keeping. The certification I got in both are actually accounting & finance). And more so, the postgraduate diploma is a pathway to mba which I could perhaps explore on the future. @ Lekkiboboe, pls can I have insight on this too

Good morning to the gurus in the house. I got referred here. My study permit was refused today based on the purpose of study. I have requested for gcms though. I was told it will take like 30 days to arrive.

Just a quick one, could my permit be refused because of the course I chose? I have had hnd (accounting) and bsc accounting with 10 years of experience in accounting and finance designation. And I applied for a postgraduate diploma in business administration. Could this be an issue? I understand a postgraduate diploma is of a higher level than a bsc. I will appreciate gurus insight on this. Thank you.
