Politics / Re: Why Lagos Blue Rail And Lagos Governors Should NEVER Be Celebrated (opinion) by Enice(m): 2:52pm On Sep 09, 2023 |
Vinnie2000:Oga, go and get your facts right. Before 1999, Lagos was one big slum! It's IGR was not even enough to dispose waste generated from the state talkless of paying workers. Initially, when the tax initiative started, it was resisted. People were complaining of double taxation and all that. Some where saying businesses will run away from Lagos but Tinubu insisted that the tax restructuring must go on. Today, they are reaping what they sowed. Now, someone like you will just come out to say Lagos IGR this and that not knowing where they are coming from. Even at a time, banks were shut down in Lagos for refusing to pay taxes, FG ministries etc. Tinubu insisted that everyone must pay tax. So don't think it's easy. Soludo is taking that step now in Anambra state but he is still not at Tinubu's level. His focus is just on transportation. 6 Likes |

Landowner101:Lost which trust? Obi was bound to fail from day one! How do you go to an election tribunal to say you won without stating how you won? That is the first issue. State the figures as per the result gotten from your field agents, that's the first thing. Not trying to win through technicalities |

OP, you should be specific, you should have used PDP and LP members not Nigerians. We are all Nigerians and some of us support the judgement. |

LikeAking:Let me quote your statement. You said " his intelligence has only brought success to him and not the society in general" I only countered that statement by listing some of his achievements that has impacted on society. On the issue of the challenges you mentioned, man will always have challenges even in heaven. |

ubest1:No matter how you construe your rubbish, believing it to be true, it can never be! We told you before. You cannot say you won an election in court without proof. You don't just dump materials on the court and tell them to conclude. You must use your evidence to prove you point. You say someone stole your vote, you did not say where, what was removed and what was added to the other person. Now you're blaming the constitution! Continue |

Ahigbo1:Maybe until it gets to the level of Zimbabwe years ago, that's when we should act! It's the citizens that builds a nation not the government. It's what we as citizens contribute that the government will use to make the nation great. If the country's debt is shared per head and you're asked to pay will you agree? I guess the answer is no! There are two ways to pay the debt. Through tax or through the removal of subsidy. Which is more preferably? For now, we have to bite the stone for the nation to move forward and for our children. If we don't pay, our children will pay. We should stop postponing the veil days and deal with it now we are alive. 2 Likes |

Abidele:It's like you're an illiterate, and that's why you're always talking about food, food, food. If Obi were the president, what would he do? Will he feed you and the others that are crying food, food, food with money from his pocket? Or do you think government is just there to feed people? Obi himself said he would remove the subsidy because we cannot continue that way so I don't know what you obi-idiots are talking about. The country is in a bad situation economically. Therefore we need to make difficult, hard and fast decision to move it forward, which everyone accepts must be made but you guys will be acting as if Obi would have used money from his pockets to feed you.
