DrMuzungu:bro, you don't have to rely on the gen. As I said, you could get a 1kw solar setup to charge your car for you. Or if you drive to the office and there is light, you can work out a way with management, or security guys to be charging your car while at work when you park. Solar panels will only get cheaper trust me! It's just that our currency is so messed up, that reduced costs sometimes don't reflect here due to inflation. Still though, panels will get cheaper an cheaper. You can get 1kw panels for about 200k now. AS FOR LONG TRIPS THOUGH, yes, you are right, you might get stuck sadly I don't foresee charging stations in Nigeria, unless the demand rises and smart entrepreneurs see the new trend and fill the need. Till then, you may not be able to take your electric car from Lagos to Abuja and back again, unless you plan to lodge in some hotel overnight and charge it there.Still though, if you just drive to work and back home and other side trips here and there, there is PLEEEEENTY of range in and Electric Vehicle to put your current I.C.E to shame, even in this Naija. Dude 480km on a single charge is no joke men. |
I remember when "NEPA" used to do shakara for us, before we installed Solar Panels on our roof. Now whether or not they bring the light, is their own business. I was caught up in the middle of the whole "scarcity" thing last night, around 12a.m. Finally found one station that had petrol, but refused to sell. You should have seen the fuel attendants gesticulating, prancing around like spoiled little princesses, just because we were begging them to sell. Had to pay 1k, just to get to buy. it's funny how their shakara always starts when there is fuel scarcity, that is when you will know the true nature of a petrol attendant. ... Enter the Electric Vehicle. https://images.pond5.com/superman-symbol-chest-clark-kent-footage-025042034_iconl.jpeg Just like Solar Panels, Electric vehicles are becoming cheaper and cheaper with increased range and charging times. It won't be long before the model 3 comes out, priced at just about $35,000. https://www.newequipment.com/sites/newequipment.com/files/tesla-model-3-stats-bloomberg.jpg We already have great competitors in the E.V industry like the Chevy Bolt, capable of giving you 250 miles on a single charge. That is 482Km on a single charge which is very impressive. The more impressive part is that the Bolt starts under $30,000. https://i2.cdn.turner.com/money/dam/assets/160912171347-chevrolet-bolt-780x439.jpg Like the I.C.E industry, the E.V industry will soon be filled up with used affordable cars for sale, which would bring prices of used versions of the Model S and the bolt further down to below $25,000 and $20,000 respectively. At these prices, in a year or two, there would be no need for Nigerians to keep buying I.C.Es unless of course charging would be a problem for that. Now people might ask, How do you Charge E.Vs in Nigeria Where is the Light![]() Well, most people in Nigeria already have Gen sets in their houses, so to charge you simply would turn on your Gen like you normally do and plug in your car to the wall, like you would plug in your phone. That is obviously for times when mains power is unavailable. I do not foresee Electric charge stations being abundant in Nigeria any time soon, like how we have a prevalence of petrol stations right now though, so getting a quick charge for your electric vehicle might be a tad difficult. Still, as long as you can get power at home, then you can simply plug in your car to charge. If you want to do away with petrol and deisel entirely, then you could purchase a 1kw solar setup to keep your car batteries charged. This is equivalent to taking all the money you use to buy petrol each month for a year and investing it in a solar setup that could potentially charge your vehicle for 20 years. The Future in now guys, lets be free from all these guys doing shakara with their stinky petrol ![]() https://static.electronicsweekly.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/13102309/HomeCharge-web.jpg |
dfrost:yes, i have. the first image is from the video |
dfrost:https://i.pinimg.com/736x/0f/fd/27/0ffd27b099749bb56d8c26a21978b27f--joker-why-so-serious-why-so-serious-tattoo.jpg |
Michellla:Thank you my darling. An independent thinker like you is very rare, as you can see that you are literally one in about a 100 here. Look at the arm sizes from the video and the nude pic my dear, i'm sure you see the difference.
|
dfrost:whatchu talking bout bro ![]() |
men i guess rumors have a life of their own once they get started. People can clearly watch the vid and know that the pic is a fake, yet they persist in breathing life into this ugly rumor. |
cc seun, lalasticlala, fynestboi, missyb3 |
you guys just want to play dumb and keep pretending like you don't realize its photoshop |
Compare the arm sizes of both pics and tell me you don't see a huge difference. What i am trying to wrap my head around though, is who did the photoshop and what they stand to gain
|
dfrost:compare the arms from the two pictures please. Haba guy, are you blind don't you know what a human arm looks like![]() Abi she your arm is the size of a broomstick. The guy didn't even do the photoshop well, but trust that it is so easy to deceive Nigerians, look how they are already buzzing around like flies on smelly shhhit, mtcheew
|
StrawberryGloss:She wasn't even topless at that. Check out the bad photoshop work done on the rumor photo. The guy took half the width of her arm off, making it look like her arm was just a string of spaghetti, or like an alien. I have placed arrows on the picture still from the video and the photoshoped image. you can see from the video that she has ridges on her arms as well, similar to that of a sweater, but on the rumor pic, her arm doesn't even look human.
|
Compare the video still, to the photoshoped image going around. Look at the arrows I put on the video still, can you see those ridges ![]() Those are ridges for clothes, like a denim skirt, or a leather skirt. How can human skin have those ridges and sharp contours similar to clothing. I can't believe a simple rumor like this has taken off
|
![]() |
so a little photoshop can trend like this? wow! |
Why is everyone just believing the picture? Watch the video for yourselves, my goodness. |
I expect them to come out later in the day to debunk this ugly rumor |

I don't foresee charging stations in Nigeria, unless the demand rises and smart entrepreneurs see the new trend and fill the need. Till then, you may not be able to take your electric car from Lagos to Abuja and back again, unless you plan to lodge in some hotel overnight and charge it there.
