phintohlar:No need to insult me if i don't know d meaning of idk ![]() Not everyone uses this new generation way of talking with their lols and lemao |
Don't know why people always want to reinvent the wheel, sigh Just use old and trusted lines like: You are the egg in my eggroll, without u, I'm just a bunz |
madridguy:What does it stand for ![]() |
madridguy:How come no one ever knows, what the fvck ![]() |
Please does someone know the meaning of "idk" ![]() Every time I ask someone, they tell me I don't know ![]() |
honmusa:Lol, yes oo, up Toyota!!!! |
honmusa:Its a 2010 avensis |
emeijeh:Depends on the persons budget. 512mb is more than enough memory to check emails, browse the web, watch videos... You just have to not get greedy by filling the phone with apps. Use basic apps, don't multitask and 512mb should be efficient enough to keep you going on the internet. |
honmusa:Hmmm, I actually can't find a Nissan manual that allows the use of 20w 50. Maybe Nissans really can't use that oil, guess it pays to check your manual. My Toyota manual actually includes 20w 50 as an option, as shown in the image above |
Toyota oil recommendation. I'll look up Nissan to see the difference.
|
honmusa:No, you misunderstood. I'm not saying Toyota says to change oil every 20,000km, I'm saying that some people don't even change their oil after driving that many kms and their engine still runs fine. Toyota recommends changing oil every 5000km. Your customer changed oil even more frequently than that, which was every 3000km. I know it's a Nissan, not Toyota, but I think the recommended oil change intervals should be similar. |
honmusa:Lol, na wa oh but as someone said though, I don't think using 20w 50 oil is a bad thing. My Toyota manual says to use oil with lower viscosity as standard, but it also permits the use of more viscous oil in high temperature environments and at high speed. You are making me scared cause if that customer is telling the truth about his maintenance history, I don't see how using 20w 50, every 3k km would be a bad thing. Some people don't even change their oil after 20,000km, but this guy was diligent enough to change his oil even more regularly than the manual suggests and his reward for that is to buy a new engine, chai!! I'm scared yo ![]() |
Hey autologic, what about the throttle body fuse and relay and the throttle sensor ![]() Not a car tech, but I just watched YouTube, lol. Have you ruled those out ![]() |
iaanput:You have too much patience my dear friend. If the car is okay as you say, then it's a fantastic deal. I wonder why people would still try to offer you way less on this ![]() are people not seeing other people sell cars as high as 52 million. Why can't they go and buy that one. Trust me, someone will still buy that car worth 52 million, trussss me!! Abeg hold ur price firm and only reduce it if you know there is a major issue with the ride, cause this is a very good deal. good day |
You go to nissan usa website, you see prices for all their fleet. sentra starting from $11,000, maxima starting from so and so You go to volkswagen uk, you see Polo/Golf starting at 11,000 pounds and so on. You visit Toyota Nigeria, Kia Nigeria... You will spend the whole day looking for where they hid the prices until you realize that there are no prices. You have to call them if you want to get a prices. Why That is so infuriating ![]() Some of these stupid sites even let you build a model as if, at the end they will show you a price, but nooo, they will simply say to call them. Why is the art of Window shopping lost on these Nigerian companies ![]() Reminds me of the times i went to youdala to buy a new phone. As soon as I got there, one guy started following me around nonstop. Kept asking me if I am ready to buy. I'm like, no you murrafvcker, I am just window shopping. won't i window shop to see what you guys have And what kind of employee asks a customer in a phone shop if they are ready to buy So freaking crass. So i guess one can't plan a car budget without having to speak to someone about every possible price for every possible car option available and of course, they will be pestering your ears with stupid questions, like, are you ready to buy ![]() sigh ![]() |
Isn't it funny, that for the past decade, these politicians have signed MOUs for different sized power plants, yet, we are still generating below 4000mw ![]() News like, Lagos to generate so and so Nigeria to generate so an so Nigeria partners with GE to build 10000mw Shell to build 1000mw ... Useless country |
Are they not worried about all the human excrement in that water? |
olaboy1:Ola, why can't we do them simultaneously OK, forget about deep drainages for a sec. Let's focus on just the covers for gutters. Can't we have all the gutters covered Walk around your neighbourhood and see just how many gutters are uncovered. Remember that just one street with an uncovered drain could potentially cause mayhem for a whole community, as that would be the street were garbage would freely enter the drain channels, causing blockage even at locations with covered gutters. Can't we also modify the covers to include filter meshes How much is it really to mould a block of cement, that the government can't do this consistently everywhere Mould covers that include filter meshes that filter out objects larger than 2cm in width. Then place these covers everywhere and I mean everywhere,on every freakinggg gutter, shikena I don't think that solution is that difficult or expensive. Obviously, the government should still enforce littering laws, but my argument here is that, when you design, your design has to account for flaws and overcome them. |
Collins10:Sorry Bro, but if u throw a bottle in your bath tub, will that bottle make its way to your bathroom drainage Same difference here. You can't construct roads with open tiny gutters and expect all of the population to act in unison to avoid littering. That's like saying you can tell everyone in the world to accept world peace and all the wars just totally come to an end. There is almost nowhere in this world that people don't litter. I was in the UK once and I spotted some guy in a car look left and right, then proceed to flinging his mcdonalds food bag on the road, along with his empty soda drink. Difference is, that trash will never get a chance to enter the drainage there since its covered. So worst case scenario is that you have a dirty environment for a while before street sweepers come in to clean the garbage. Bottom line is, build closed drainage systems since you already know that you can never stop people from littering. This doesn't mean you won't still enforce littering laws. |
Black man is really stupid, as evident on this thread. Instead of you guys to advocate for covered drainage like they have in advanced countries, so that dirt can never enter, you are here asking people not to throw dirt in an OPEN gutter ![]() Nigerians must be one of the daftest creatures on the face of the earth. How can u prevent people from throwing stuff in an open gutter Heck, even road and animal debris, might naturally find it's way into an OPEN gutter. Why not, for once in your daft lives, advocate for a closed drainage system I guess though Nigerians are born to suffer, mtcheew |
These guys are sooo annoying. Nigeria is never ripe for anything Not ripe for state police Not ripe for resource control Not ripe for real electricity restructuring Not ripe for development ... Left to Politicians, Nigeria should remain the shithole it currently is forever. It's so sad and annoying at the same time. Why can't we copy the American system were there is state police but, the Federal police has overriding power Sit tight politicians, mtcheew, they just sit tight in one spot and watch the country go from bad to rotten, to full compost, mtcheew |
frank317:I don't understand ![]() |
bantudra:Truth!! You see all those threads with some governor somewhere, commissioning a road and when you look on the sides of the road, all you will see are tiny gutters dug on both sides, lol If they don't want to spend the money, the least they can do is update the covers to the already existing gutters after they have been cleared. The covers should be long and thick, so they can't be easily lifted and carted away. The covers should also have filters, so that, no matter how much people litter, that litter never makes its way into the gutter. Every streets gutter must be covered with this special covers, every single street, unless it's a canal or something... ...but as you know, we are in naija ![]() |
Bifwoli:Open gutter in Yankee Bro, you'd have to back up that claim with evidence. |
bantudra:Yep, it definitely will cost more, but it would be worth it. Also, there'd be less cleaning to do, if any. Lastly, they wouldn't need to crawl, as if the designs were solid, there would be manholes for easy entry. You are thinking of small gutters we typically have in naija, but what I'm referring to are deep deep gutters, at least 3 meters deep. |
bantudra:With closed gutters, there'd be no waste to clean bro. Imagine your water pipe at home, what do you think the possibility is of finding waste in it Probably a zero chance, cause the pipeline is a closed system. We need closed system gutters with filters and manholes for the once in a blue moon inspection. |
People on this thread keep acting like they can wave a magic wand and stop people from littering. When you draw up designs, you take these things into consideration. Have you ever seen an open gutter anywhere in the U. S Why won't people throw stuff in an open gutter ![]() |
NairalandSARS:How can I help u bro ![]() |
Iphone7SPlus:Bro, you can not blame the people at all. All blame falls squarely on the government for constructing open gutters. Let me ask u a question. If you throw empty bottles in your bath tub, will the bottle go into the drain Definitely not right, cause ur bathroom tub has a drain filter. If we want to develop, we should develop well abeg. Even in Europe, people still throw empty bottles on the ground, but these bottles never make their way to the drainage because all the drains are closed and have drain filters. You can not stop humans from littering |
LightandDarkness:Yes, I believe it was, cause I remember being on my knees praying specifically for a solution to the issue of my keys. Funny thing is, as a more mature adult, I probably wouldn't pray if I lost my keys today. I'd simply just handle it financially, but back then, I felt I had to pray. Shows me that there is power in prayer, even over the little things that bug us. I also was very prayerful then, singing praises to God in the darkness. I must confess though, that at no other moment in my life had I ever felt a connection to God that was so strong. I sought him daily and praising him then didn't seem like a chore, but gave me a sense of comfort. |
CatfishBilly:That friend had no idea who my professor was. Remember I said I called the tow company and if they had trucks available at the time, I wouldn't even have found the need to go to the computer lab. It's not very often in Dallas, that you call a tow truck company for assistance and they tell you that they don't have trucks. Lastly, imagine a key in the middle of the street. Not in a closed classroom or a closed toilet, but a street were thousands of students/ordinary folks use. Then of all the people walking on that street, it's my professor who happened to pick it up. Same professor I wouldn't have called, if not for my friend. Same friend I wouldn't have met, if the tow company actually sent a truck as usual when I called. Remember, the friend suggested I call the professor cause he thought I may have left it in class, which may be common. Meanwhile, the professor found the key on the street. |
