CHAPTER FIVE
This past few days has been so fun for me,I have never felt this way before in my entire life. I don't know how to describe the way I feel, I feel like am on a roller coaster, my heart beats faster than usual, it seems preoccupied with the thought of only one person.True love they say is hard to find but I know beyond a shadow of doubt that I have found one. What other explanation do you give to a situation where it seems like your entire happiness depends on someone,where seeing that person alone is enough to make your heart beat faster and when the person smiles all your worries fade away and you become the happiest person in the world.Yes !that is exactly the way I feel ,my days are often incomplete without his smile. Am I fine?Is this even normal? I wish I had answers to my own questions. I tried explaining the way I feel to Fola but she could not understand but how could she?when I feel like am blabbing myself.

The truth be told I don't even know my mom anymore, she wasn't like this before but ever since she lost her job she has become a totally transformed person. She gets angry for know reason, always looking for who to transfer her aggression on and i am always the lucky victim. like caused all this mess.

"See,he needs to mingle with people his class, not some low class nonentities" she said ,the thought of having her son sit in a class full of nobodies alone disgusts her"

"Wemimo I am disappointed in you ,where is the nice homely woman I married, this boy is entitled to make his own decisions and if he decides to stay at Maryland ,he has my full support and by the way this is the end of this discussion"he said as he stands up and leaves the room

"Niyi come back o ,come back " she said screaming after him

"My answer still remains No" I said hoping my frown would intimidate him

He was really taking this serious so I knew I had to be mindful of what I say

"I don't want you to think I am after your money" I said praying he would not get vexed

He moved closer, so our face were almost touching, took my hands,took a deep breath and started

"Babe you don't know how much I love you ,how much you mean to me. You came into my life and turned it around, you gave me a reason to live ,someone to think about aside myself and your happiness is mine .so what is wrong with taking care of someone you love and cherish?what is wrong with being there for her?And besides this is not for you alone it is also for me. I don't I can go through another weekend without hearing the voice of my Queen ,so would you let me?

I was speechless ,I didn't have a single argument in my head ,so I just said the only thing that came to mind" Yes"

He kissed me and whispered into my ears"I love you Damilola and I would prove it to you even if takes me a lifetime.

"Mayomikun!mayomikun! Mayomikun!" wemimo screamed at him,she had been standing there for about thirty minutes now but the boy had not even noticed her
"Yes ma" he replied
"Are you okay?i have been standing here for over an hour now and you did not even notice " wemimo replied,she was obviously worried,this was so unlike him.
"Mum am fine ,I was just thinking about someone,wait no I was thinking about something"
"Oko mi" she said as she moved closer to him and took his hand "is there something I should know ?"
"Not at all mummy,am fine it is just school work"
"Okay o ,but if you need anything remember am here for you anytime ,any day"she said as she left the room and closed the door.
Wow!that was close he thought, he was so close to getting caught .The truth is that he could not could no longer control his feelings for Dammy ,she had captured his heart totally and completely, all he could think about was her.
He smiled as he remembered what had transpired between them the other day.
She had been sitting all alone in class clearly lost in her own world.
"A penny for your thought my lady" he asked tapping her shoulders
"Hey mayomikun what's up?when did you even get here that I did not notice " she said ,smiling cheekily at him
"How would you notice me,when you were busy thinking about that boy"he replied,carefully searching her eyes, looking for clues as to whether he was right or not
"Which boy is that ?"Dammy had already turned around by now so the two of them were facing each other
"I don't know maybe you should tell me" this time he was really serious .He needed to know wif she was feeling the way he was
"Jealous boy ,there is no boy in my life that is worth thinking about "

Common you are my friend "she said, already her heart was beating too fast and she was trying to avoid his eyes .
He took her hands ,positioned her well so he could see her eyes and said to her" Damilola Ayanfejesu I want you to look straight into my eyes and tell me you don't feel something more for me,that all you see me as is your friend and that is all you ever want me to be"
Ermm.........hmmmm"was all she could she say ,by this time the two of them were already staring into each other's eyes and the atmosphere between them was beginning to get more charged.
He leaned in and slowly took her lips in his ,it took her a while before she could respond but when she finally did,the birds in the air ,the fishes in the river and even the animals in the bush could testify that ,It was the beginning of a love sealed in heaven.

This past few days have been so fun,I have never felt like this before my heart always beats fast anytime I see him.we have become the talk of the whole school ,everyone one is talking about us.Ever since we started hanging out together my life in school as changed,the bullying and yabbing has stopped and everyone now seem to respect me more .
We have become very close ,he tells me everything and I do the same .I know all about his mom and how she wants him to stop but he has promised not to stop because he has never had a wonderful friend like me.
Mayomikun sighted her from afar and smiled. This girl blows his mind,he has never met any girl who was as beautiful and unassuming as she was.she doesn't need makeup, she is so different from the kind of girls in his world.He could have a normal conversation with her ,without having to talk about how he was going to take over his dad's company or how much he has in his account.
They both caught each other staring .their eyes met for a minute and every other thing in sight faded away. It was just the two of them in their own world.
