More response pleaseee.My favour lie between three of the depts.

Hello Nairalanders,I believe and hope this forum will provide the necessary answers am seeking due to the fact that we have members with wealth of experience.I recently rounded up my first year in the university,precisely faculty of agriculture.We were asked to make use of the break to decide which department we will like to settle for.They include Animal science,Agric economics & extension,Agronomy,Soil science and Crop protection.Due to the fact that in year one we did pure science courses only,so information on the aforementioned departments are lacking.For those who have graduated from this great faculty which department will you advice please? You can as well provide more informations to back your preferred department.Thanks

There is nothing like underrated course.IN MY LECTURER'S VOICE "ITS BETTER YOU GRADUATE WITH A FIRST CLASS IN AGRICULTURAL SCI. THAN GRADUATE WITH A PASS IN OTHER DISCIPLINES TERMED AS HOT CAKES"

flexten: Try and make use of your school library. Borrow all the text books u can borrow on organic chemistry and start from nomenclatures of aliphatic organic compounds(alkanes,alkenes& alkynes)...I think that's the easiest part of organic chemistry u can start with. Then go to thier physical and chemical properties, Industrial and laboratory preparation e.t.c... Just be consistent for one week.Before u knw watsup u ar already a veteran in organic chemistry.

ikeola6: Are u a funaabite? If No,then no probs m jst asking because its exam time in Funaab. Just read ur lecture notes,get good textbooks like organic chemistry by L.G Wade or organic chemistry by Solomon and Fryhle.. Lamlard chemistry and Essential chemistry are good for understanding the basics

If everyone has the opportunity to choose his present status,I guess and doubt if there is someone who will like to be poor(money wise)Though I stand to be corrected.Dreams are cut short,happy moments turn sour just because of money factor.I believe your present condition should not be used to judge your future achievements.We learnt that our parents never got married because of money and they lived happily.But we have parents nowadays that feels you have to posses a fat purse in order to even appreciate your good intentions toward thier daughter even though themselves the parent are not rich.At first these girls fight for your love but at the long run they are brainwashed in most cases by their mothers' to make you look less of a man.Most of this girls falls for this.Now my question to the parent,how will you feel if same treatment is meted to your son in the future? And to the girls how will you feel the guy you broke-up with because he was broke now holds a chain of businesses all over the globe?

You can attempt Bayero University,Kano.But if you are going for medicine,godfather is needed if not you are on a long thing

Bayero University,Kano to resume academic activities on 1st January 2014 and exam commences 2 weeks later.

prince CEE: u should ve asked the person whether the overall mark was 100 or 400.
If it's 100, then it means that he scored 43/100 which is equivalent to 172/400.

my friend wrote last year and was admited he score 43.ours d point is different thats why am asking

Please I need more clarification.I wrote putme at Bayero University,Kano.And these are the information from d sms they sent:
Putme score 268 out of 400.weighted average(with utme)is 241 out of 400.Can somebody please analyze this for me.my score for utme was 213

If there is anybody that choose Bayero University,Kano here there is strong rumour that putme will be held on Monday 23.They want to suprise people to cut the number of candidates

If you happened to be a teacher,how can you explain to children that humanbeings are also animals?I personally argued with some children.I said humans are higher animals with well developed brains.They did not agree.So i asked if they are plants they say no.I told them livingthings can either be plants or animals.

But sometimes,we have to take our destiny into our own hands.after like 3-4year,he didn't see anything bad with her.His parent were aware from the beginning but did not stop him.Now wasting such years in vain with him is so painful.

Really this topic got me thinking.I personally drink water during meal but my sister never takes water until she sign-out i.e finish eating.So which is best.during or after eating?
