The ''medical professionals'' (nurse of doctor) in these pictures need to be fired ASAP. No hand gloves, no face masks, and look how tattered the bed is, exposing the kids (and themselves) to potential infection. This can only happen in Nigeria and other developing countries.

PoliticsEye Witness: Igbos Collapse Parts Of Kano (for Massob's S @ H) by Environer(op):
''IGBOS COLLAPSE PARTS OF KANO

The ubiquitous tricycle, aka Keke, could be seen adorned with green leaves, apparently as a sign of solidarity with the Igbos.

Autoparts merchants' shops and other shop owners along Court road, Emir road, Yoruba road, Church road, Igbo road, Niger road, Enugu road, etc were under lock.
France road, one of the busiest, was a ghost of itself.
Yankura/Sabongari mkt was as if the Igbos 've travelled for Xmas.

The New Road Park, scene of the disastrous bomb blast that consumed men, women and children, was filled beyond capacity by Igbos who have gathered to pray for the repose of the souls of the dead, who have shown, by their alleged actions that they are not yet resting.

As the prayers went on, the atmosphere conveyed a sense of sorrow that pervaded the arena. Some women broke down and wept bitterly.
At other times, it was a deep silence that could make the clatter of a pin prominent; the silence ran deep, as if the spirits wanted to talk.
It was a sorrowful session''.

BARBARIC!! 25year old boy kills mother and two sister

the deceased with terrorist son

Residents of Gusau metropolis in Zamfara State were shocked recently after the swollen corpse of one of their neighbours and two of her daughters were found dumped inside a nearby dam in the area. More shocking was the suspicion that mother and daughters were killed by their on blood, 25-year-old Kamal Yusuf Aliyu. The suspect who is presently in police net has reportedly given reasons why he killed his mother and younger sisters.

Narrating the circumstances that led to the ugly incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in Zamfara State, DSP Lawal Abdullahi said that the command started by investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and culpable homicide initially reported by a good Samaritan as a case of sudden and unnatural death (SUD).

According to him, “The good Samaritan, on May 29, 2013 had reported to the Police that a female corpse was sighted floating in the water Board Dam in Gusau metropolis, Zamfara State. When the corpse was removed to Federal Medical Center, Gusau for postmortem examination, deep cuts and injuries were discovered all over the body of the corpse. A case of Culpable Homicide was being established.

In the afternoon of May 30 2013, relations of the deceased came to Gusau Central Police Station and reported a case of missing person. Their relation, Hajiya Hafsat, was not seen for the past 48 hours, and that her mobile phone was not going through. They were taken to the Public Mortuary where they identified the said corpse as their missing sister.

A Police team led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) went to the house of the deceased but met it under lock and key. It was forced open and on entry, blood stains were seen all over the room. Her clothes, money and valuables were ransacked by the perpetrators.

The deceased’s car was not seen in the house, but her son’s car was seen inside the compound with blood stains. The car booth was searched and pillow cases, bed sheets soaked with blood were recovered. The discovery reaffirmed Police’s suspicion on a case of culpable homicide coupled with the testimony of the deceased relations that her son who is now the prime suspect has been threatening to kill her if she fails to give him money.

The relations also reported to the Police that, two of the deceased little daughters aged between 11 and 9 years, living together in the same house, were equally not seen. The Police now suspected that the assailants may have killed the two girls and dumped their bodies in the water where the mother’s body was recovered. The Police then went to the river side where the first corpse was recovered. Fortunately, the two corpses were recovered, one with cuts all over her body while the other was slaughtered,”

Police also informed Crime Guard that the prime suspect, Kamal Yusuf Aliyu (25), who is the deceased biological son, has been out of school because of his bad habit and following Police investigation, the prime suspect was arrested in Kaduna with his mother’s (deceased) car.

Some valuables and cash belonging to the deceased were also recovered. It was learnt that Kamal has confessed to the Police and has mentioned the names of his accomplices as Armaya’u Yusuf, 24, and Caleb Humphrey, 25. Both are in police custody.

The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Akilu Usman Gwary has assured members of the public that no stone would be left unturned to fish out the remaining culprits that were at large soonest. “The suspect’s action is unfortunate and highly barbaric and definitely they will face the full wrath of the law,” the CP said.

Why Does Peter of P’Square Keep Impregnating Lola Omotayo?

Why Does Peter of PSquare Keep Impregnating Lola Omotayo?

This unjustifiable act has been troubling yours truly for some time now but Olufamous decided to wait till after Lola’s delivery before I raise my concerns. The attitude of some male musicians with regards to their ways with ladies is just not encouraging. These guys keep putting ladies in family way with impunity.

Our focus, however, is on Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo. Note that the lady is Yoruba, before some folks ‘cash in’ on this and call it another post against Igbo tribe.
Please, what is wrong with Peter Okoye that he has decided to keep impregnating Lola without taking her to the altar? Or is getting a woman pregnant at will his own definition of marriage?

After Lola gave birth to a baby boy for him in September 2008, out of wedlock, I thought it was a ‘mistake’ and that Peter Okoye would do the ‘right thing’ shortly after. But I was wrong; nothing happened. Rather, he impregnated her again and, on Tuesday, she gave birth to another child for him, this time a baby girl.
But my question is: As what? Is Lola just a ‘baby factory machine’ for Peter Okoye or what?
This was what Tuface Idibia did to several ladies and today he’s “struggling” to marry one of them.

PoliticsWhy Do SW People Hate Ojukwu more than SE People? by Environer(op):
Going by uncountable posts on NL, why do SW people hate Ojukwu?
He is accused by SW people of deceiving Igbos and leading them to a war they could not win. IGBOS were killed, yet Igbos love Ojukwu till death because they realized that their situation could have been far worse did Ojukwu and his advisers not do what they had to do back then. Yorubas were not directly affected by Ojukwu's action but they still hated Ojukwu till death and even after. They actually wished him dead when he was sick and hospitalized in the UK. Why is that so?

Other than NL back and forth, I do not know of any SE person who cares about Tinubu in real life
But SW hatred for SE people go beyond cyberspace; it is real. If in doubt ask them why they shortchanged Zik, why Awolowo committed genocide against Igbos, and why they hate Ojukwu (even in death) and supported Hausa to stop Biafra and kill 3 million Igbos. Ask them why they hate Achebe even though he made a true point against a Yoruba (one Yoruba) and not against the Yoruba as a race. Ask them why their Obas are raping Igbo female corpers, and why their kidnappers specifically kidnap Igbo traders.

There are indications that a clash of interests is beginning to manifest within ranks of members of the opposition coalition as the leaders of the merging parties thursday failed to resolve a disagreement over the modalities for establishing an interim leadership for the new platform, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Another fallout from the ongoing merger process is the brewing crisis of confidence which has apparently pitted the merger committees of the parties against their party leadership.

THISDAY gathered that top leadership of the parties made up of presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Senator Bola Tinubu and national chairmen of the three parties met behind closed doors on Wednesday night at Lagos House in Abuja.

A source told THISDAY that the meeting, which was meant to push a proposed leadership structure that will have the ACN produce the APC interim chairman while the CPC and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) fill the national secretary and deputy national chairmanship slots respectively, became contentious with the ANPP protesting the arrangement.
Just as the discussion began on the composition of APC structure, ANPP delegation raised objection on the draft proposal for sharing of interim offices.

Leading the ANPP's opposition was the Chairman of the ANPP Board of Trustees, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, who argued that with the status of the party with three states under its control, it would be improper to allocate to it an inconsequential position.
He argued that ANPP should be allowed to produce the interim national chairman of APC until elections are conducted. Although the meeting agreed in principle to consider the ANPP's complaint, the leaders could not reach any agreement on option to adopt.
"What they did yesterday was full of intrigues. They invited Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu as the only representative of ANPP to met with others, including Buhari and Tinubu so that they can convince him to accept the plan to cede the interim leadership of APC to ACN and CPC, " the source said.

Another issue that arose during the meeting is the issue of the choice of the national secretariat for APC.
There were divergent views over the offer to use the present office of one the parties as a temporary secretariat but in the end majority supported the search for a neutral place.

After the stalemated meeting Wednesday night, the leaders of the merging parting reconvened for another talks yesterday afternoon at the same venue in Abuja. However, the meeting again failed to reach any final agreement on the composition of interim party structure.
But it agreed to step the issue down for the meantime and urged all chairmen and secretaries of the three parties to ensure that they sign all the documents that will be submitted to INEC in furtherance of the application for registration of APC.
