Just got a mail that my application has been updated but when I logged into mycic there was nothin there. I have done medicals and it was updated passed on Dec 4th.
Please what is happening??

Gud pm all d boss here! After my sourjon in the canada thread, I am here for a fresh start. I know I should have to read back but for a quick kick start, I want help in the following

I need a recommendation on schools for masters in Electrical Engineering for June/July start based on the following criteria

1. Lower tuition

2. Ability/Ease to secure student job in the
location.

3. Ability/Ease to secure PR after studies.

I have a CGPA of 3.71/5 in Elect/Elect Engr (B.Eng) in a Nigerian University. I will be writting my IELTS by January.

I graduated in 2011, served 2012. My sponsor is my mother. Like how much is good enough for this application?

1) sponsor soa abt 3m
2) 3 sponsor's land docs with survey
3) declaration of age
4) letter of support
5) sponsors company's certificate
6) my offer letter ( as im working with in my mothers company
7) sop
no travel history
9) no personal soa, no personal asset
10) letter of sponsors employment verification
11) acceptance letter
12) pp data page

Applied to university of ottawa for masters in mechanical engineering which was my undergrad course.

I will like to re apply. Pls give me an advise on how to go about it.

Try signing in via MYCIC account..I think you can get into your app account but the problem is with new applicants who can't apply online..

What's happening to we October applicants now.. Applied October 19th and done medical already no response yet and this is the 6th week

PLEASE I NEED AN URGENT REPLY TO THIS. I applied via online route and got the passport request mail yesterday.
However, my passport expires in 2017, and my programme extends beyond 2017. It is categorically stated in the passport request letter that they cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date of my passport. On the other hand, I cannot renew my passport in Nigeria because it's valid for more than 6 months. PLS, HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS.
YOUR PROMPT ATTENTION AND KIND REPLY WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

Medical call 25 Nov
Medical done 27 Nov
Approval mail 2 December

My application is a very very simple and straight forward one with a soa of 4.3mil from my sponsor (elder brother). Thanks for all your support and explanatory analysis from the gurus of the house.

Am new on this thread , and please I want to know if I can use more than one sponsor......One is my dad and the other sponsor is my uncle based in canada ...and also would love to know how much like estimate should be In my sensors account for application for study visa..Thanks ....good job u guys re doing here .....

Just an act of faith. Wrote this down yesterday, Just hoping and praying things turn out well, and so it came to be.

Dunno, though I played my lil role, but here is the break down. Thanks to you all in the house.

06 October - Online Application (M.SC, UofR)
06 October - Biometric Request
08 October - Biometrics Done
13 November - Medical Request
17 November - Medical Done
19 November - Medical Passed
01 December - Passport Request

1) Yes

2) VFS in Lagos

3) Pay for a return delivery and use your address so it'll be sent back to you after stamping your TRV on your passport.

4) VFS and CIC work with UPS, so it'll be most convenient to use the same company. Other courier companies will still do a good job.

5) Yes sir.

Ofcourse you can use courier services but if I were you I will take it to them myself. Just an advice
