Looking for serious reliable individual to join forces with me in setting up ecommerce business in Nigeria. With the increase of smartphones in Nigeria, more and more people are using their phones to conduct their online shopping. Online shopping is a huge market in Nigeria which is still relatively untapped. I currently have a website in the UK selling beauty products. kindly take a look - www.sweetfacecosmetics.com and let me know your thoughts. The site is still not mobile friendly yet but my developers are currently working on this I would now like to bring this website to Nigeria. Whoever comes on board do not have to be concerned with us putting together a new website as we can use my existing website. I also have knowledge of suppliers for all products we plan on selling on the website. It is important the person that comes on board is driven, passionate, creative and committed to seeing the success of this project which they can also call their own in Nigeria. Do get in touch so we can discuss further. The plan is to begin operations in Lagos first and then branch out to other parts of Nigeria followed by other African Countries e.g. Ghana and Angola Thanks

Hi All Can any one please tell me which is most profitable to get into. I have about 70 acres cassava farm and would like to maximise my profit so will need to know if going into cassava flour is more profitable than garri. Are you also able to tell me how many tonnes of cassava is required for 1 tonne of cassava flour and also how many tonnes of cassava is needed for a tonne of garri Please kindly tell me also what the going rate is for both by products Thanks |

Hi All I have 100 acres of cassava I will be harvesting in October and plan on converting this over to garri and using the by products for animal feed and starch. I am aware there is alot of potential in Cassava farming but how big is this potential really. This is the first time I have ever done cassava farming so those of you who have any knowledge around cassava farming and garri, your comments will be extremely welcomed. I will appreciate it if you can please tell me how lucrative this market is. Is there a high demand for garri during any particular time of the year What is the going rate for a basin of garri When I harvest cassava around October and convert this to Garri, what will the price be for a basin of garri in October, November and December period. How long can Garri be stored for as I can keep it in storage and then sell when the price peak. I look forward to receiving all your comments. Many thanks |

Hi all Thinking of starting transportation business. Can anyone tell me the number of people that travel from benin to lagos on a daily basis. Also how many mile is it. I have been informed it 210 miles. Is this correct. Any help would be great. Thanks |
Hi Guy What do you think of the idea of sausage and burger production. With the numbers of hotel and fast food chain springing up daily this is definitely a market that has not yet been saturated. These sausages and burgers can even been sold to the mass market at affordable price. What do you think, will this be readily accepted? of course don't mention I am well aware the north of the country are muslim and do not eat pork but there is still a huge market in the south. Love to hear your thoughts, Nairalanders. |
What would you guys say to fruit juice business in Naija. Do you see a potential in this industry and whether there is a market place for this. Just think of how we are bombarded with fizzy drinks. is fruit juice not a healthier alternative. All comments are welcomed. |
To think of it since satchet water is commonly drank in naija, this could be a good starting point to begin. Think of the enormous market you will be selling to 150 million people, if you can sell to 1 to 2 percent of the population, you can then imagine the profits you will be raking in. But I am adamant it will be more than the percentage stated, this is just a guesstimate. Like I said earlier in my previous post though water is essential for the body, a little flavour makes the taste more interesting. We all know how it gets in that drenching heat on a sunny afternoon, now visualise drinking orange or mango flavour water to quench that thirst. Also note the flavours I will be selling will be all natural fruit flavours with no presevatives. All opinions welcomed @ VIPERMAN Thanks for your opinion, but when you say alot of capital what is the amount you are referring to? @ Delaroy Thanks for showing kin interest, what can you bring to the table, at present I am currently doing some research on flavoured water. email: eoronsaye@gmail.com |
Hi Remember o that people deY like try out different things. Secondly water taste bland and boring, flavor water can be another alternative |
Hi my people Would like to know if there is a market in Naija for flavoured mineral water? strawberry flavour, banana flavour or orange & mango flavour that type of thing. What do you think? All comments welcomed Ese |
Hi People I would like to know why fish farmers in nigeria have not gone into breeding Mackerel. I mention Mackerel because this is without doubt one of or the most popular fish eaten in Nigeria. Yet virtually all Mackerel consumed is being imported from abroad. I am aware that fish farmers are rearing predominantly catfish and tilapia, yet no one seems to focus on Mackerel. Can anyone enlighten me on why this is so or have I just discovered a massive gap in the market for home grown Mackerel. Cheers Ese |
