Letters have started rolling in, I know of a friend who has collected. FIRS ain’t calling you or sending an email, kindly get intouch without your godfather or whoever submitted your name. Firs is actually giving your letter of appointment to whomever submitted your name.

I just got in touch with God this morning cos he submitted my name. No one else did. I know he is the biggest God-Father.
What bothers me now is how to collect my APL from him. I might need to go to heaven to meet him, oh I forgot, he works in mysterious ways..

But my own tension mostly come from the fact that not up to 500 will be recruited from a pool of more than 3000 suitably qualified and interviewed individuals.

Are we also to expect any updates from the portal as email begin to roll in? I'm asking because DPR in times past have made use of email, text and PORTAL to reach out to candidates.

Secondly, when the APLs are to be collected, will DPR also need a form of verification from candidates which may come in the form of a print out from the portal?

Daily Nigerian Newspaper, November 2017 reads..

The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has conducted a screening for alleged secret recruitment into the service in Kano and Lagos and Rivers States.

DAILY NIGERIAN reliably gathered that 769 “specially chosen” candidates were secretly invited for the interview via a text message on Monday.

In November last year, the FIRS chairman, Babatunde Fowler, had stated that over 700,000 Nigerians applied for the job.

The agency in June last year secretly hired 349 staff without recourse to public service rules nor federal character principles. Mr Fowler had previously been accused of indifference to service rules on employment by secretly hiring 250 new staff.

sister i never said i ws told that. but frankly a number of people were given positive remark tht if d penalists were charged with selection they hv scaled through. For me i hv always trusted GOD i cant change nw.

Atleast I got 'congratulations' from one of the panelists. I wouldn't flatter myself by concluding that I've gotten the Job. Only appointment letters will tell the truth..Let us pray and wait.

Folks, quoted below is the response of FIRS I stumbled on yesterday, to a question on their twitter page when someone asked them when 'The list of successful candidates in their last recruitment exercise/interview would be published'.

"We are not aware of a 'much anticipated list'. All successful applicants for the advertised vacancies have been contacted. We wish you Godspeed and Good luck"

I have moved on since I haven't been contacted.
