AllBlack:Hmmm The OP has corrected his or her error, so there isn't any need for the insult. Also, the OP is not wrong on why some words that start with "H", can use "an" instead of "a". You seem to be very bitter, it must be difficult being you. |
heysquare:Please can you explain how working there would affect your religion? I'm just curious 🤔 |
AllBlack:Why shouldn't they be taught? Are they not part of computer science? You have to understand that university is not a boot camp but a research institute, where every thing that concerns a particular topic has to be taught, regardless of economic value or what you think is important. |
Iseoluwani:Peak ignorance!!! You even mentioned biochemistry, microbiology, zoology, botany, etc?! CORE SCIENCES!! You definitely need to be re-educated. Just because you think an area of study is useless, does not make it useless. Seek knowledge. |
BodePolScience:If no one is studying these courses in the university, who will eventually do the research in these institutes? A lot of people don't even practice what they studied in the university, so what's the need of scraping any course?? Let whoever wants to study any course in the university, study it. He/She would eventually find his/her path in life. |
franchasng:The amount of ignorance oozing out of this post is just sooo nauseating 🤮🤮 |
Kudos to the man, he did well. It's time to start treating ladies like adults. As a man, if I have any issues with a another man, I wouldn't make the first physical assault on that man. I would only fight if I need to defend myself, my loved ones or my honour. Everyone should be able to know which boundaries to cross and which shouldn't be crossed. |
I don't really think that there is any need to worried about the erasure of any local language. Have you noticed that a lot of english words are being incorporated into our local languages? These words are mostly used to describe present day things and situations which didn't exist locally in the ancient times. That is evolution. Just the same way english has evolved through out centuries, that is the same way our local languages are evolving in modern times. Nowadays, a lot of people still speak our local languages but with a lot of english sounding words and I think that's okay because our local dialects cannot just accurately describe some things in modern times. If our local languages do get erased, the generation in which it's erased wouldn't even lose much because it would mean that the culture and way of life would have evolved in a way that the language can no longer catch up. But that's just the brutal reality of evolution and there really nothing you can do to change it. |
datola:Schools like FUTA or FUTO are for only science students, so they won't rank very high in that list because only a fraction of students are allowed to apply for such schools. But I still think your point is valid. |
One of the reasons powerful countries don't just invade one another is because they know that each one has what it takes to end the other (e.g nuclear weapons) if violence starts, so they usually choose dialogue and economic wars. If you check very well, invasion of countries usually happens when a stronger country sees that another country is weak. To have peace, you must prepare for war. To maintain your respect, you have to show that there are consequences for disrespecting you. The thing is that you didn't have to be angry to deal with the guy, in fact you shouldn't be angry at such moment. After the dialogue, which was the right thing to do, you should have given judgement and made sure the person that injured your brother faced the consequence of his/her action (if he/she deserved it) the way a wise parent would discipline a child for wrong doing. If you want to be bold, think about what would happen in the future if you are not bold today. If being bold today might cost you your life ( e.g an armed robber pointing a gun at you, asking you to give him some money) it best that you back down in most cases of this scenario and live to fight another day. If being bold at a moment wouldn't cause you to loose something you cannot regain (e.g. your life) then it's best to be bold because not being bold would have future consequences like loosing your respect. |
"Nigerian-American superstar" 😏 Elon musk should also be called a South African-Canadian-American billionaire even though he is mostly american 😁 By the way, I think he would still cheat if he went back to the past, knowing that everything would be settled. I even think that he would still cheat if he knows that he would never be caught or exposed. |
I think there's a way to check the genotype of the foetus (or baby) in the womb. The friend can carry out the test and if the test shows that the baby has the SS gene, he should be pragmatic and do the needful. If a sickle cell baby is born, it would cause suffering to the parents and the offspring. That is not a good life to live. |

If you are into research in engineering and science, you might find it useful. A lot Nigerians only care about making money hence they might feel that this is useless, forgetting that the technology they use daily are based on things like this equation. |
MightyHand:This is not affordable for the average students. The average students don't spend that amount on money on shayo, those that do so cannot be called an average student in terms of income. You are forgetting that these are students, not workers and their income if they choose to work is usually hindered or limited by their academic pursuit (for those that think it's important). My experience after passing through the tertiary institution has shown that this price tends to give more leverage for the wrong people to get into office (mostly fraudsters or those who can be termed as "unserious" students). The result of this is a lack of positive impact by the SUG in the school. |
simpleseyi:But unlike the prime minister, Tinubu is not British. Such gesture signify loyalty and it would not be weird for a British prime minister to be loyal to the royal family of England, but should the president of Nigeria also be loyal to that royal family? If Tinubu usually kiss ladies like that, we would have said it was normal for him and would not read any meaning to it, besides, the kiss was not compulsory so why did he do it when she is not his wife or daughter? |
hybrid77:The man in the picture posted by OP should heed to the advice in the first paragraph of the quoted text. It's for his own good. |
I'm not sure if these are entirely accurate 🤔. I thought Obama was a lawyer? |
nwirinedu:The same reason we import petrol, when we have crude oil. |
Although, this might seem good. It's not too different from the exportation of crude oil. When will Nigeria start exporting manufactured products or finished goods in large quantities 🤔? |
iLegendd:Good day sir iLegendd, Please, can you explain further on the bolded words in the post I quoted (utility). How do you usually value coins based on their utility? How do you know and understand the utility of a coin and decide if a coin is really useful or useless, regardless of how useful they may say the coin or token might be? Can you also give examples of coins or tokens that you think have great utility and coins that you think don't. |
hkidola00:Your statement makes no sense. You will campaign against a man or woman just because he is an Igbo person, not because you think he or she is not competent enough to be in office 🤨? This has exposed your hypocrisy because you are doing the same thing that the people you criticise are doing. By the way, the "Yoruba people" also insult Igbo people. Your statement lacks any trace of wisdom. |
This was how it started in some countries but the poor and middle class eventually ended up paying more tax. Also, the fact that the people in government are not poor people means that they are just setting a trap for the mass. |
Dougad:Those who do not understand pain can never understand true peace (electoral processes and leadership) Almighty TAX!!! 😂😂 Maybe this pain would make some Nigerians have sense (even though I doubt it). |
Yes, I think I can manage it for seven days. Although cooked food under this condition might lack some ingredients and the food might end up becoming almost tasteless, as the foods I would eat would be solely for survival and taste would not really matter much (as long as the food is not bitter or too sugary/sweet or too salty). But who knows, I might enjoy those type of meals. As the saying goes, hunger is the best flavour for food. A really hungry man doesn't discriminate based on taste. |

Pennilessword1:🙂🙂 |
A lot of people who mastubate don't care about this. |
The sheer stupidity and blind prejudice that oozes out of the comments some retarded nonentities, who (either) cannot read what is in the news posted by OP or/and just love stupidity and are determined to reach its limit. Tribalism would not let them see clearly, that's why they vote incapable people into leadership positions. I spit on their empty skulls. |
Please can you share the problems that you intend to solve with machine learning in Nigeria? Just curious. |
