Lindner: The reason IPOB was created at the first place was secession (I don't know of any other motive) which would not be even possible if Obi becomes president. So any thought of this happening is quite laughable. Most of the people I know that supported the secession of Biafra did so not because they wished Nigeria bad, but because they saw that Nigeria was already bad as it is with no hope. So those set of people have now seen hope in Obi in at least making Nigeria better, that's why some of them support him. Like I said before, if Nigeria was working well nobody would think of dividing the country. Also, please can you tell me of any IPOB frontliner that supports Peter Obi?? Not that that would even change the fact that Peter Obi is not an IPOB project but a Nigeria project. 1 Like |

I don't know why you are linking Obi to IPOB. Is it because he's Igbo ![]() IPOB has made a statement that they are not connected to Peter Obi. Has Peter Obi ever supported IPOB?? Anyway, I hope you don't become sentimental when casting your votes. I hope you vote for who you think is the best man. PS: If the country was working as it should be working, trust me, nobody would support secession and leave what is good to go for the uncertain. |

This won't change much as tertiary institutions already have cut off marks for each of the courses to they offer, besides beating the cut off mark does not guarantee admission as each department has a limited number of people that they can admit. |

This cretinous being that posted this nonsense can't even tell us what his candidate can do for Nigerians because his entire being and personality is a cesspit for all forms of shit and piss in form of tribal bigotry and other stupid ideologies. Calling you an idiot would be an insult to the real idiots. |

HE'S ENCOURAGING THEM TO SELL THEIR VOTES LIKE THEY DID IN EKITI. I didn't expect him to say anything reasonable like the aspirant's plan for the development of the state (not unrealistic but detailed plans) or even his plans for the country and Osun state and how the aspirant is going to be instrumental in achieving those plans. All he can do is to attack other parties and their supporters as if they are not also the Nigerians that he wants to lead. Typical no good politician who only thinks it's his turn to be called Mr president. I still wonder why some people would still vote for this man. 1 Like |

LOLSeeComment: Trust me, I'm very educated (probably more than you are) but I choose the type of people I reason with. How can you compare a region that a majority of its people are christians to a country that is multi-religious. There's nothing intelligent or enlightening about your post, all you have managed to do is to expose your tribal bigotry, which overrides your common sense. |

Op just wants to argue with that young man just for the sake of argument. If you are truly ready to vote for the right candidate, the questions you should be asking should be focused on the detailed plans the candidate has for Nigeria and see if they are realistic (not "I will ensure Nigeria has 24 hrs electricity within a year" and all those nonsense with no strategy). You should also be asking of the candidate's track record of credibility, integrity and accountability, compared to other candidates. To be honest, If Atiku had won the last election with Obi as vice, things would not be much different from the way it is now. We can see a classic example now, as Osinbajo, despite being a good candidate, can't really do much as he is just an assistant and not the one in charge. That's why Obi had to leave PDP, where he knew he would not emerge as the candidate. As for the structure you mentioned. Well, you can see where that structure landed us to. Even with most of the NASS members being from the two major parties, you can see the situation of Nigeria today. Why not try something new OP. |

Discovered nairaland sometime around 2017 or 2018, when I googled something and nairaland was one of the sites that I was directed to for answers. I've been a guest since then until 2021, when I created this account. To be honest, I created this account that year to know what it was like to be on nairaland 'proper' and I was disappointed especially because of the process of making comments. I dumped the account after this revelation and continued to be a guest, until recently, when I decided to start using the account again. BTW, nairaland needs a LOT of improvement. |

I wonder who takes Reno seriously nowadays ![]() ![]() If Ekweremadu was supported massively by the people from the southeast, we know that the news would be that they are blinded by tribe in judgement. The fact remains that Ekweremadu commited a crime according to the laws in the UK (regardless of whether the donor is a minor or not) because he didn't follow the due process. |

Seems like these people are already afraid of Peter Obi and are trying by all means to stop him, but it won't work ![]() ![]() ![]() I thought they said Obi was in a structureless party and had no chance ![]() ![]() Then why are they paying attention to him?? I mean, there are other candidates in other parties except APC and PDP, but they are not talking about them, but you will always see them talking about Peter Obi and labour party ![]() ![]() ![]() The truth is that they know that Peter Obi is a good candidate and would have boosted Atiku's chances of becoming president if he was Atiku's running mate, but that didn't happen. Now they are afraid that Nigerians now have a third option, which might ruin the duopoly that has been running Nigeria for years. 2 Likes |

Some people are not tired of suffering in this country ![]() ![]() ![]() We have had these parties with "structure" in power for the past years and you can see the result. It's now time to do something different and vote for a credible candidate and not just the party. |
