People forget that the support labour party is getting is for the candidate (Peter Obi) and not the party itself. Nobody really made noise about Labour party's presidential candidate before Peter Obi joined the party. If you want to keep supporting APC and PDP because they seem to have a better structure than labour party, then it's your choice. But remember that the first two parties mentioned in this paragraph have been in power all through these years and you can see the result, so don't expect any thing different if any of them come to power after next year's election (considering their candidates). Remember, everything must have a starting point, and may be, the starting point for labour party is the presidency, and then other positions would follow in the coming years. |

pquaver: I simply stated a fact that Kwankwaso would take some of the votes in the north, thereby reducing the number of votes that Atiku would have gotten in the north, that would have been more if Kwankwaso wasn't contesting. My business is that, although Kwankwaso might still have some votes in the north, there's no guarantee that he would beat Atiku (even in the north). Thus, if Kwankwaso collaborated with Peter Obi in the election, both he and Obi's chances would be increased as he would pull some votes from the north and Obi pulls some from the south. Both Kwankwaso and Obi are good candidates and it would be great if they worked together. I hope you now understand what I meant. |

ityP: Which more popular party are you talking about? APC and PDP are the only parties that can contest with labour party, when it comes to popularity at this moment and I don't see him going to either of the first two parties mentioned above. |

If Obi and Kwankwaso are to work together in the upcoming election, it would be more logical for Kwankwaso to step down and become Obi's vice ![]() ![]() Kwankwaso would only succeed in reducing Atiku's votes in the north and might likely not still win. 115 Likes 2 Shares |

The only way the citizens can meaningfully contribute to fighting insecurity is to carry arms. Is that what Buhari wants ![]() I just hope it doesn't turn out this way, but from what I am seeing, this seems to be the only solution, except the government does what it's supposed to do and stop being sentimental in fighting terrorism. |

A Christian can get involved in politics, but it's gonna be very difficult to succeed in his/her political endeavours if he/she sticks to his/her christian principles. |

Since you want to live like animals, why don't you throw away your phone and other device and live in the bush. I mean, it's easier that way, no bills to pay. The only thing you would think about is food, shelter and sex (forget about clothes). There's a reason humans are currently known as the most intelligent species on earth bruh ![]() ![]() |

APCnaPDP: Why don't you do your part by voting for what is right and trust others to do the same. Even the people in the north are affected by bad governance and I'm sure there are people there that would vote for the right candidate. What you suggested is what Nigerians have been doing for the past years and see where it landed us to. Remember, someone who does the same thing over and over again and expects a different result can be classified as a fool. 1 Like |

I have been a guest for some time on nairaland and noticed the great level of toxicity in this forum especially when it comes to politics and ethnicity. Are a lot of you people like this in real life, if so, how do you maintain relationships. I'm greatly baffled. 2 Likes |
