The Managing Director of the Lekki Free Zone Ltd, Mr. Tajudeen Disu is among persons killed as Ibeju-Lekki villagers and mobile police officers clashed in Okunraiye community near Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, this morning. Tajuden Disu The villagers said they were on a peaceful protest against "forceful takeover" of their land by the Lagos state government on behalf of Africa’s richest industrialist, Aliko Dangote and the Lekki Free Zone Ltd when policemen attacked them reportedly killing two of the protesters instantly. The villagers said the killing resulted in a crisis. A local chief in the area told Saharareporters that the Lekki Free Zone Ltd called in anti-riot policemen of "Mopol 49" to kill the protesters because they had insisted too long ago against forceful acquisition of the community land by the Lekki Free Zone Ltd for the construction of a large petrochemical refinery owned by Mr. Dangote. The chief said the Mopol were led and supervised to the protest scene by Managing Director of the Lekki Free Zone Ltd, Mr. Disu. But Mr. Disu was also among those downed as the police officers guarding him and protesters clashed, according to the local chief. One of the police officers was also feared dead. The community has been taken over by soldiers reinforced to the community as the crisis escalated. The village is currently being raided by Nigerian troops sent to the community as a result of the crisis. Many villagers have vacated the village out of fear. Habib Aruna, who is the Chief Press Secretary to Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode told Saharareporters that the governor had just addressed the media over the crisis. He confirmed that Mr. Disu died in the fracas stating that his body has been deposited at the Lagos State University Hospital for a post-mortem. source: http://saharareporters.com/2015/10/12/lekki-free-trade-zone-md-killed-land-fracas-lagos |
A Niger Delta right activist, Ms Annkio Briggs is accusing the All Progressives Congress-led government of killing Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, a former governor of Bayelsa state. According to Briggs, Alamieyeseigha died from the psychological torture and emotional stress he was subjected to, following recent move by the British government to extradite him back to London to face corruption charges, Daily Trust reports. She explained that the ex-governor was away on a medical trip in Dubai when report of the move to extradite him to the UK came up. Briggs said: “There were plans to arrest him in Dubai, so he hurriedly returned to Nigeria. As soon as he came back, he was hounded by agencies of the federal government until he became ill. “Alamieyeseigha was granted pardon by the federal government having lost almost all his property, yet they connived with British government to extradite him over an issue that has been settled.” The activist lamented that the federal government was gradually killing Ijaw people through orchestrated psychological torture. “They have succeeded in killing Alamieyeseigha and they are presently hounding Diezani, but they will not succeed,” she stated. Briggs noted that there were so many corrupt Nigerians who looted the nations dry and are roaming the streets free without any harassment. She said the Ijaw group would not sit and watch while its people were being hounded to death. She warned the federal government not to bother sending any condolence message to the family of Alamieyeseigha as it will be rejected. The former governor died at the weekend at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. He was said to have slipped into a coma two days to his death and was placed on life support. Esueme Dan-Kikili, the Bayelsa state commissioner for information, confirmed that he had died after a cardiac arrest. Condolence messages have been pouring in for the ex-governor. Lai Mohammed, the publicity secretary of the APC, condoled with the Bayelsa state government over his death, praying that his family would find comfort in their moment of sadness, as well as the strength to bear the loss of their loved one. Reacting the demise of Alamieyeseigha, the Peoples Democratic party said it was still in shock over the news, describing the development as deeply saddening. |
Patrick Obahiagbon, the former member of the House of Reps, harshly criticised Edwin Clark’s recent statements concerning ex-president Goodluck Johnatan era. Clark, who used to be one of Goodluck Jonathan’s loyal supporters, but quit the PDP party recently, made some controversial remarks about GEJ after that, telling that Jonathan was “too a gentleman” to fight corruption. “Jonathan didn’t have the political will-power to fight corruption,” Clark claimed, adding that “Jonathan meant well for this country, but the will power to fight corruption was not there.” Responding to Clark’s remarks, Patrick Obahiagbon called the political legacy Jonathan and Clark left Nigeria a “Damnosa Hereditas”; the term meaning a harmful or burdensome inheritance. Patrick Obahiagbon blasted Clark in his statement, telling that “I would expect that this animadversion from Papa Clark would put an irrefragable quietus to all Jonathanian political jingoists still spewing and yarning Goebbelsian sputum in support of former president Jonathan. This is because if there exists anybody who should have intimate knowledge of the concentric layers of malversation that characterized the failed Jonathan administration, it would be Papa Clark, the self-proclaimed father of Jonathan. But has Papa Clark said anything new? The answer is a resounding NO and that was why Nigerians voted for President Buhari in their gargantuan numbers.” Patrick Obahiagbon also added that “it took the eschewable fall of Jonathan for Papa Clark to peregrinate the road of the biblical Damascus and the scales thus falling off the eyes of Jonathan’s political father is not only execrable but demonstrates a putrid and rancid narration of the story of Nigeria’s political class as a Damnosa Hereditas.” Chief Edwin Clark, one of former president, Goodluck Jonathan’s staunch supporters, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday. Ahead of the presidential election Edwin Clark blasted the presidential candidate of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, saying that“it’s clear that apart from clinging to sectional, ethnic and religious sentiments, the APC presidential candidate has no idea of running a democratic state.” However, when Buhari won the election, Clark made a U-turn in his statements: “I congratulate you and reassure you that as you get to commence the process of peaceful transition and government, you will have my full support,” he told. After Clark on Wednesday, October 7, announced that he had quit the Peoples Democratic Party, accusing the former president of lacking the political will to fight corruption, ex-militants under the aegis of the Niger Delta Liberation Force (NDLF) have asked Chief Edwin Clark, the former federal commissioner for information to shut up. https://www.naij.com/597760-patrick-obahiagbon-blasts-clark-gej-calling-era-harmful-burdensome-inheritance.html |

Besides an attractive design, Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.’s top model, the Galaxy S6, also features impressive high-performance specifications for all mobile users. Handy shortcuts, extra features, user-friendly interface, and a lot more comes with the Galaxy S6. Additionally, Google has provided Samsung with its services for the flagship models, installing them with Android Lollipop 5.0. Streamlining navigation on the device Firstly, for a better hands-on experience, users are advised to customize the settings of their S6 to meet their requirements. For that, a user is required to drop down the top notification bar and click on Edit. A variety of options will appear and a user can select the right ones that he or she wishes to see in the quick setting menu, next time they drop down open it. We advise users to remove anything they do not wish to see in the quick settings menu and later users will be able to experience the convenience for sure. One a user is done choosing the options, he or she can tap the save button and move on. The theme that suits your device best In order to select the best theme for your S6, a user should begin by holding down on the home screen for two seconds, after which they will be able to modify screen grid size, widgets, wallpapers, and the entire theme. The current menu will also allow you to give your phone a completely new look. Users will be able to replace backgrounds, font size, app icons, and also fine-tune their device. Additionally, users can also preview the new theme before it gets replaced. Initially, three themes will be available on your S6, however, the option to download more themes via Google Play Store will also be available. A number of apps are also available in case a user wishes to create a custom-made theme. Utilizing the fingerprint sensor This is one of the most advanced feature available on the Galaxy S6. It is of great use and users will be glad once they start to avail the feature. To do that, users are required to go into device Settings and enter Lock Screen and Security in order to find a Screen Lock Type, which is exactly where the special Fingerprint feature belongs. We advise users to follow the steps in order to access the convenient Fingerprint feature. A user can use their thumb to unlock the device, which is far easier to do single-handedly. However, a backup password is also recommended just in case. The menu contains two toggles that direct whether or not you can use the fingerprint sensor to verify Samsung account and for web sign-in. Fingerprints are a quicker way to gain access than having to jog your memory for a set password. Making use of the split screen option The amazing 5.1-inch display of Samsung Galaxy S6 is big enough to enable users to use two apps at one time. Users can enable the impressive split screen function by tapping and holding onto the multitasking button, which is present at the bottom left. Users can also access the feature by simply holding on to apps for around two seconds. Once the feature is successfully enabled, users will find that the screen will be divided into two sections. The below section will allow users to select an app they wish to multitask on, whereas, the above section will display the same app a user had opened earlier, before he decided to utilize the split screen function. In this way, a user will eventually end up using two apps on one screen. Moreover, users can adjust the screen space each app covers by simply dragging the split section in vertical direction. Other interesting options allow users to window, flip, or even close apps can be availed by clicking the designated circle. Getting the best out of your display Users can benefit the most from the high-performance, active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) screen by going into the device Screen Mode section, which is located under the Display tab in the S6 settings section. The Screen Mode section comprises of a variety of options that can enhance the resolution and picture quality of the Galaxy S6. Adaptive display will adjust the resolution automatically, but other modes such as the AMOLED cinema and AMOLED photo if selected, will increase the contrast, and liveliness of the screen. Either a user leaves the screen settings on basic, they can obtain something more close to reality. Saving on battery Going into your Battery Settings will provide you with detailed stats on your device power usage, and the estimated time remaining on your battery. Two modes will be present to prolong the battery of your device, i.e. Power saving mode, and an Ultra power-saving mode. The ultra mode is quite extreme as compared to the normal Power saving mode, cutting down on the display brightness and functionality. Samsung Galaxy S6 also has an abnormal battery usage section, that identifies which app is draining your battery the most. Disabling or removing downloaded apps In order to easily disable or uninstall an app on the S6, users are required to dive into the Apps section on their device, which is exactly where a complete list of apps is displayed. To begin selecting or deselecting certain apps, users are required to click on the Edit button located at the top right corner. A red minus sign would be present to immediately halt ongoing functioning of a particular app. Other than that, users can also disable or uninstall almost all downloadable apps. However, some apps cannot be permanently removed but users can uninstall many of them by holding on the icon and dragging it to the Uninstall section. Taking screenshot Capturing a screenshot at any time is pretty simple. All users have to do is to hold onto the Home button and the Power button together. That’s it, the screenshot will be taken and the image will be transferred to the S6 gallery automatically. A user who is looking for a more convenient way to take a screenshot, we advise him or her to enable the Palm Swipe feature located under Motions and Gestures section in the Galaxy S6 Settings. Downloading in a hurry Download Booster in the Galaxy S6 is an added feature that allows users to make downloads quicker than ever. For instance, if a user has to download a file that is above 30MB in size, he or she can enable download boost option from the More Connection Settings section in their Galaxy S6 device. Just to inform users, the feature would make use of Wi-Fi, plus data charges in order to boost the download.

I have decided to write you this 18-page letter BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. If I don’t write it now, people may start considering you as a good president; forgetting that I am the only good president Nigeria has ever had. There is no one like me. As far as Nigeria is concerned, I am the Baba of the Babas. I am the president of the presidents. Before me, Nigeria had no president. After me, there will be no other president. I have had occasion in the past to warn you, especially when I nominated you as vice- president to Yar’Adua and then campaigned for you to be president, that under no circumstances should you outshine me. I did not put you there to do the things I could not do. Neither did I put you there to succeed where I failed. I put you there because my fourth-term agenda failed. Therefore, I needed someone to be a figure-head, while I continue to rule from behind the scene. But since you became president, you have not been following my orders. I have warned you again and again to desist from this abuse of the authority I gave you. But you have refused to listen. So you now think you are actually the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I still de laugh! You are not the president. I am the president. If you continue to disobey me, and to promulgate policies that put me in a bad light when compared to you, I will see to it that you don’t even complete your first-term, how much more have a second-term. I am already in discussions with the APC to see if we can have you impeached. Did you not read in the papers that APC leaders came to my house the other day? When they were here, we all ate pounded yam with egusi soup. Even Buhari had a second helping and asked for the recipe. You better read the writing on the wall. I notice you have quickly returned the missing 49 billion dollars after I brought the matter to the notice of fellow Nigerians; but that won’t help you. I will have you know that we are already training 1000 snipers who will puncture all the tyres of your supporters. Therefore, if you know what is good for you, you better start acting as the puppet president I put you there to be. How dare you, Goodluck? How dare you build almajiri schools in the North? Why didn’t you suggest that to me while I was in office? How dare you address the NEPA problem when I could not? What exactly are you trying to prove? You think you are better than me? Don’t you know that you would have remained a striking university lecturer if it had not been for me? How dare you appoint a competent man to be Minister of Agriculture? Now the man is going around getting awards for his policies. Which policies? I am the one who revolutionized the agric sector in Nigeria. When I became president, I had only one farm. By the time I left office, I had over six farms in different parts of the country. Is that not progress? How many farms do you have? You can never be better than me. The corruption in my government was far more than yours. You have nothing to compare with my infamous Siemens and Haliburton scandals. You don’t even have the gumption to buy a Toyota Land Cruiser for your mistress. Chinua Achebe said, “One of the truest test of integrity is its blunt refusal to be compromised.” You will soon find that this statement cannot be applied to me. I am above it. How dare you release AlMustapha from prison after 14 years when you know I want him to stay there for the rest of his natural life? I give you my word; you are going to regret that decision. How dare you convene a national conference when I specifically refused to do so? Are you trying to make me look bad? Did you even get my approval before agreeing to it? You are a very disrespectful man. Do you think that you, a minority nonentity from the South-South, could have risen to be President of the country had it not been for me? Have you forgotten so soon, the extent I went in order to ensure that you are where you are today? There was only bad luck in Nigeria until I, in my infinite wisdom, bequeathed good luck on the country. You ungrateful man! If you don’t stop all these irritating policies, I will declare a national state of emergency. Nonsense! You are supposed to obey your elders. Henceforth, Goodluck Jonathan, you must obey me. Otherwise, I will show you pepper. I will pour sand into your gari. I will put tea in your coffee. You can no longer be trusted; that is why you will only get a second-term over my dead body. I need to get someone in Aso Rock who will do what I say. I already have your replacement in mind. I don’t intend to make the same mistake three times. I will take him to a shrine under Olumo Rock to swear an iron-clad oath to do whatever I say. Any flagrant disregard of my authority, and he will not be able to speak English and Hausa again. People close to you, if not you yourself, have been asking: “What does Baba want?” What a stupid question. I want to be president of Nigeria again! I want to be president! Half a dozen African presidents have spoken to me and assured me that I am the only president they recognize in Nigeria. Half a dozen of them said their only wish for Nigeria is that I should return to Aso Rock. Of course, yes. Mugabe is still there. Why not me? It is not my will but providence has determined that the presidency is my birthright. I fought for this country. Single-handed, I kept Nigeria together during the civil-war. You cannot sideline me. I put you there: I can remove you. I made you: I can unmake you. You are not the Messiah of Nigeria. I am the Messiah. Don’t you forget it! I want nothing personally from you but that you obey me at all times. When I changed the constitution of our great party, I made sure I would continue to control things by inserting a clause which guaranteed that I am the only one qualified to be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. But as chairman, I was not given the recognition I deserve as the father of the party. Therefore, I tendered my resignation. Imagine my surprise when you had the audacity to accept it. You are such an impudent man. If you knew your place, you would have recognized that my resignation was just a protest. You were supposed to send the elders of the party to beg me to stay on; a plea I would have graciously accepted. But like the ungrateful son that you are, you accepted my resignation. And now, you have Tony Anenih occupying a post that rightfully belongs to me. Your unlimited ambition became clear to me when the National Chairman of the party said he never does anything without your approval. So you now see yourself as the Leader of the party. Never! See where it has got you now. A number of governors have resigned from the party and taken APC. If you don’t behave, another set will resign and take aspirin. The PDP has lost its majority in the House. There is talk of impeachment; and you are no longer sleeping at night. It serves you right. I fully intend to teach you a lesson you will never forget. By the time I have finished with you, you will run out of the country and seek political asylum in Equatorial Guinea. It is not surprising that you have not been able to eradicate the scourge of Boko Haram from Nigeria. You don’t have military experience like I have. Under my watch, Bola Ige, Marshal Harry and others were surgically removed from the scene. Similarly, I would have finished Boko Haram within three months. I understand the violence. I am fully cognizant of the root, stem and branches of the underlying causes. But I will not share any of this with you as long as you refuse to make an unequivocal statement that you will not pursue a second-term. Unlike you, as president of our great country, I was dynamic and resourceful. I exterminated trouble-makers from Odi and Zaki Biam. I spent $16 billion dollars restoring NEPA to its enviable heights. I committed 300 billion naira rebuilding all the federal highways in the East alone. I restored the country’s refineries. I raised the price of petrol several times. I rigged the most amazing election in the history of the country. I conducted the first widely-accepted national census. I could go on and on but my secretary has to go home. In short, I was the great president you can never be. So if you think a neophyte like you can compete with me; think again! Stop taking me for granted. You don’t want to be in my bad books. I don’t forgive my enemies. You will regret this for the rest of your life. I will show you how much of a nuisance I can be. I will embarrass you everywhere. I will tell as many lies about you as I can. I will write public letters to you every week. I will copy the next one to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. Never you forget: I dey kampe! Accept, ungrateful Mr. President, the assurances of my highest disapproval. Baba the Baba. P.S. I shall be sharing the contents of this letter with all the newspaper houses in Nigeria and Ghana. I will also be copying my very good friend Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha. www.vanguardngr.com/2013/12/dear-goodluck-jonathan/#sthash.bkopbMz7.dpuf By Femi Aribisala. |

Four months ago, the circumference of Roona Begum's head was 94 centimeters -- almost triple the size of a normal baby -- due to ten liters of excess fluid inside her brain. Born in a remote village in northeastern India, Roona was diagnosed with an extreme form of hydrocephalus and was given only a few months to live. STORY HIGHLIGHTS Just 18 months old, Roona Begum has had multiple surgeries for extreme hydrocephalus Her head tripled in size from due to a build up of cerebral fluid soon after birth She had been given months to live, but underwent surgery funded by donations Two Norwegian students heard of her plight and raised $60,000 for surgery Tripura, India (CNN) -- The pictures may be difficult to look at, but 18-month-old Roona Begum's story of survival is remarkable. Soon after she was born in a remote village in northeastern India, Roona was diagnosed with an extreme form of hydrocephalus -- a disorder causing cerebral fluid to build up in the brain. Doctors had given Roona just a few months to live. "Day-by-day, her head started growing bigger, she stopped wanting to eat, she would just lie in bed, it became very difficult for us to carry her and take her anywhere," says Roona's father Abdul Rehman says. Roona's head grew to a circumference of 94 centimeters, almost triple the size of a normal baby. There were ten liters of excess fluid inside her brain. Her head was so heavy she could barely move. Hydrocephalus is more common among infants and older adults. The condition is caused by overproduction, obstruction or lack of absorption of the cerebral fluid in the brain. Indian baby with 94 cm head recovers Her head started growing bigger, she stopped wanting to eat, she would just lie in bed, it became very difficult for us to carry her and take her anywhere. Abdul Rehman, Roona's father The skin of her head has stretched so far, it pulled her eyelids over her eyes, making it impossible for Roona to see. Her mother, Fatima Begum, would draw eyebrows on Roona with black kohl everyday just to try and make her look more normal. "She had such a big head, it was scary for people to see her," Fatima explains. Roona may be Abdul and Fatima's only child, but they couldn't afford to treat her. Roona's 18-year-old father works at a brick kiln earning less than $3 a day. For more than a year and a half, they took care of Roona in their two-room mud hut, with little knowledge or means of doing much else. In April this year, a journalist took photos of Roona and soon people all over the world including two Norwegian students Natalie Krantz and Jonas Borchgrevink were moved by her condition. Krantz and Borchgrevink put Roona's photo on a crowd funding website, hoping to raise $1,600 to cover her shunt surgery. In two months, they raised double that amount, and by August 2013, they raised more than $60,000. They've transferred half of this amount to the charity arm of Fortis Hospital in New Delhi for her treatment. The hospital covered the remaining half of the expenses. The students plan to send the remaining amount for Roona's aftercare. When Roona arrived at Fortis, her condition shocked even chief neurosurgeon Sandeep Vaishya, who has treated hundreds of children with hydrocephalus. "We had never seen anything like that and we were completely clueless as to how we'd go about treating her. There was no precedent of treating a child with such an extreme case of hydrocephalus. We learned as we went," Vaishya says. Initially, Vaishya wasn't hopeful about the surgery. Roona was malnourished, she had major infections on the back of her head from the pressure of lying down all day, and her skin was very thin and delicate. We had never seen anything like that and we were completely clueless as to how we'd go about treating her. Sandeep Vaishya, neurosurgeon Cerebral shunt is the standard treatment for hydrocephalus. It's a simple procedure which involves inserting a drainage tube to keep the fluids flowing at the proper rate. But due to the size of Roona's head and her small, frail body, Roona's treatment was particularly challenging. Vaishya says the surgery posed a huge risk to her life, and at one point they almost lost her. Much to the relief of her parents and her doctors, Roona has pulled through. After five surgeries, Roona's head is now down to a circumference of 58 centimeters, still larger than the average 38 to 48 centimeters, but small enough to allow her to live a reasonably normal life. She constantly moves her head around, she is playful and most importantly, she can now see. She is finally getting the chance to be the baby she really is. "It feels really good to see her now, she looks beautiful and happy," Fatima says. Back in her village, Roona has become the center of attention. It's still painful for her to sit up but she smiles a lot, and her eyes, now visible, keep wandering in a frenzied pace. "We want Roona to read and write once she grows up. Both of us (mother and father) are illiterate so we don't want her to be like us. We want her to have a bright future," Fatima says. It's too early to tell if Roona will ever be completely normal in her appearance as several operations still lie ahead, but the signs thus far are promising. http://amenbogist..com/2013/08/indian-child-roona-begum-recovering.html

Holders Bayern Munich and Spanish champions Barcelona will be among the front-runners, while Rafa Benitez's Italian side face a potential 'group of death'The seedings for Thursday's Champions League group stage draw in Monaco have been decided and the biggest news is the presence of last year's runners-up Dortmund in pot three and Rafa Benitez's Napoli in pot four. The 32 qualifiers have been divided into four pots, with the restriction that teams from the same national association cannot be drawn together. There are few surprises in pot one as holders Bayern Munich take their place alongside powerhouses such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea - although the occupation of Portuguese duo Porto and Benfica will raise some eyebrows. Last year's finalists Borussia Dortmund have to settle for a place in pot three, meaning they could once again end up in a tricky pool - with a group featuring Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli on the cards. Manchester United and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford on Monday in a game that failed to live up to its pre-match billing. The fixture marked the first time that David Moyes locked horns with Jose Mourinho as United manager but neither manager could gain the psychological upper hand, although the point puts the Blues clear at the top of the Premier League. "Chelsea return to London with a point on a night that was an inauspacious Old Trafford debut in the home dugout for David Moyes. "The build-up to the match had been dominated by talk about Wayne Rooney's future and the striker, starting his first match of the season, was the best player on view. Amusingly, and perhaps uniquely, Rooney's name was chanted by both sets of supporters throughout the match. "Chelsea lacked adventure in their team selection, playing without a recognised striker for the opening hour, and were equally cautious on the pitch. It is clear where Jose Mourinho feels that he needs to strengthen." Oscar tried to prise open a tight United defence in a lacklustre first half but twice wasted good opportunities with weak efforts straight at David de Gea. Robin van Persie had United's best effort when he hit the side netting from inside the area. The second half followed a similar pattern and England international Danny Welbeck will rue his wastefulness after digging an effort wide after good work from Wayne Rooney. United also had claims for a penalty when a Tom Cleverley shot struck Frank Lampard's hand in the box. Moyes named Rooney in his starting XI for the first time, with the striker the subject of two rejected bids during the close-season from Monday night's opposition. Ryan Giggs dropped to the bench to allow for his inclusion. Chelsea started the game with a surprise as Andre Schurrle led the line. Kevin De Bruyne was also given the nod as Juan Mata and Demba Ba were omitted from the side that started against Aston Villa on Wednesday. Both sides struggled to create openings in a tepid opening 45 minutes. It was the away side who had the first chance in the 10th minute when a low De Bruyne cross rebounded to Oscar who hit a tame effort straight at De Gea. Chelsea had managed to quash the threat Van Persie for the opening 20 minutes but the Dutchman had United's first meaningful effort. Michael Carrick dispossessed Ramires in midfield and the former Arsenal man picked up the loose ball on the edge of the box but he went too wide before firing his effort against the side netting. Rooney then had his first effort on goal. He showed a neat piece of skill to feint inside Gary Cahill but his shot from 20 yards was weak and rolled harmlessly to Petr Cech. United were beginning to enjoy more of the ball and, in the 38th minute, Phil Jones's low cross was only half-cleared by John Terry and Cleverley hit a first-time shot from 20 yards that cleared the crossbar. http://amenbogist..com/2013/08/manchester-united-0-0-chelsea-bore-draw.html |
