Tinubu came to unleash hunger and starvation on Nigerians, needlessly. The jaujau president came up with the worst policy ever, not minding the consequences. Angola, the former largest exporter of crude in Africa also removed subsidy, but in piece meal so their people wouldn't feel the impact. Before they did, they had already provided enough palliatives in place...that's the country that cares for their people. Tinubu's supporters' claims that their mentor isn't aware of the subsidy removal from this year's budget is a lie from the pit of hell. The subsidy they claimed had gone is back with full force. They now pay in trillions. They'd never employ intelligent people to work for them becasue of thehr super corrupt minds. This starvation would have long been avoided. 9 months are over, with nothing to show for the renewed hope. RIP to the woman. There many more, who are dying daily as a result of Tinubu's poor policies but are not making deadlines. That's what happens when you rode into power via propaganda. Karma is real. As if that wasn't enough, you went and floated the naira same time. I just pity the masses right now. 12 Likes 4 Shares |

I don't pity them at all when they're shouting ebi npawon. Ebi o tii de rara. senatordave1:Always say APC . Not Buhari |
Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Eriokanmi: 5:29pm On Mar 10 |
slimmsyyetty:Your second to the last paragraph really got me emotional. All we need is good leadership and everything will fall in line. There's nothing wrong with us. Early 80s. Before buhari/idiagbon took power, Nigeria was out of place though we had a decent economy. It was buhari/idiagbon who taught Nigerians how to queue in public places. Everyone would just want to get served simultaneously. Buhari's second coming had really exposed his weakness of the 80s. This made us know for a fact that it was actually idiagbon who was ruling Nigeria back then while buhari was just a figurehead. Many said this back then but their claims couldn't be substantiated. They were right. Nigeria is a lovely country cos we had everything to earn us a decent life. I can say I've seen it all out there and I've weighed all the options. Here's 100% better, but with good leadership. Most of our problems are man made. Imagine Indians and Chinese thronging Nigeria while Nigerians are running away. We serve the health and oil and gas sectors of our economy in my company and we get busy all year round. We attend trainings at least once with our partners in North America in a year and suffice it to say I travel to NA twice a year. There's a lab-based company in Canada begging to have a distributor in Nigeria and we're still talking. 2 Nigerians are working with them, one as a truck driver who graduated from UI and another a lab scientist. If I had my way and I agreed to partner, I'd pull the Nigerian truck driver back home to head my logistics unit. With a decent leader in place, he wouldn't be doing that type of job as an Msc Holder in Agric Econs in Canada. Everyone can't be like me cos it was a tough decision I made after my studies to return home. Only 1 out of 100 Nigerians in Canada and USA would try that after seeing good houses, good roads, nice locations and daily meals and you are now asking them to come back home. It would sound weird to them. It was my plan to return home cos before I left Nigeria in 2004, I had seen opportunities staring me in the face. I only came back to tap it. Before I came back, Indians were dominant in the sector. Through the Nigeria local content, I was able to reduce them to size. Till today, our oil and gas clients pay in dollars. I always write lengthy words to encourage our people out there. Rome wasn't built in a day. Rome had her bad moments too before it became the Rome of their dreams. We knew how Canada was formed too. I don't even know the name of the majority of our leaders . I only hear of tinubu and his vice because I had no business with them. I don't know if they exist or not. The only thing that affects me is their policy, which also affects everyone. My dear brothers and sisters, pls go to Canada or US, look beyond your nose and search for opportunities, bring it home cos market over there is saturated. No new thing under heaven anymore over there. Nigeria is a virile land for opportunities. In 2018, I was at NLNG in Bomny Island. There was this white whom they told me earned almost 10k usd monthly. He's a CCIE Engineer. He enjoyed free education for kids, free accommodation, free travel tickets to his country, free this and free that. I was like...whaaat! I told my cousin to go get the certificate. CCIE exam is lab-based . I loaned him the money to get it in Canada or US but there were some registration hitches cos they used to move the exams to different locations. I now asked him to write the exam in DXB. It was fairly cheaper there and the certificate he was holding had already qualified him to write the exam. He passed and I said omo, go search for the relevant position. The NLNG guy was still there but he got one in Canada. The salary was wild...almost 9k usd, as a single guy monthly but I told him to manage it. Anytime there's space here, he's coming back. As we speak, no CCIE engineer who is a Nigerian here yet. These are the opportunities youths who are japaing should seek cos work and money go find you taya. Enough said 3 Likes |

senatordave1:You're right. But our gas is mainly for export. That's why the FG made a you turn at a time, to cater for the lapses caused by the sudden stop in the importation of cooking gas from Niger. We had a mandate and obligation to export gas to some countries and this mustn't stop, just as we have a mandate to export crude to some countries and dangote refineries headed for America to import crude for his refinery recently instead of buying locally. If Nigeria should focus on dangote, our customers to which we're obliged to supply crude would suffer a great deal cos dangote's crude need is huge and would take so much. That's why I didn't join them to attack the FG recently much on this and it takes only those who understand international trade to know this .The moment we begin to refine our own crude, our customers who buy crude to refine and sell to us and to other countries will feel the heat. They don't have crude but only refine and sell to customers across the globe. We don't have a choice but break away from them. Let them find new customers to sell refined crude to. We must develop at all cost cos Nigeria is bleeding. God bless Nigeria. |
Religion / Re: Chris Oyakhilome: Don't Send Any Of Your Wives Away If You Become Born Again by Eriokanmi: 10:52am On Mar 10 |
Negroid001:I've made up my mind never to comment on any religious arguments anymore but I had a change of mind after I read your post. You see, so many men of God today won't even near heaven , talk more of making it. I'm not God but I can tell you vividly that most of them aren't on the side of God. They only refer to parts of the bible which suit their bidding. they're also fond of turning the bible upside down. Have you heard of the story of Apostle Ayo Babalola, the founder of CAC? What of St. Moses Orimolade Tunolashe, who founded C&S? Apostle Babalola had a hell of a wife before he met Christ. After he became born again he kept the woman. During a crusade, this woman would mount the podium and ask him to give her money to cook soup. She had disgraced him on several occasions openly but God came to his rescue. There was a time he was preaching and this woman pulled his cloth and asked him to give her money. Apostle said there's money inside his agbada at home but the woman said she had ransacked everywhere but no money was found. He prayed to God in his spirit and asked the woman to go back and check and she'd meet money there. Truly, she got there and met mints of different denominations. She came back and said she met more than she needed and left. Today, that woman would be divorced and the church of God would be ridiculed. She was used by the devil but he didn't prevail over Apostle Ayo Babalola. This man never preached prosperity but about the kingdom. Miracles happened in his time. I remember the story of Abeo, a woman whose corpse was dumped near her husband's place at oke ado in Ibadan cos her family said they'd not accept her corpse with pregnancy inside her. The husband too rejected her cos she left his place over a dispute for her family house where she actually took ill and died. She was already stinking where her body was dumped for 4 days. Apostle Babalola was having a crusade nearby . The woman woke up and ran to the revival ground. Those who knew her and witnessed it ran away. She said a man in a white apparel came to her and said she should wake up and join her fellows at the crusade nearby, instead of lying down there. That was what led to the spread of CAC church in Ibadan and environs that time. These men of God overcame tribulations, they served God wholeheartedly, preaching from village to village. Today they want to remain only in the cities where there's money or they go abroad to collect dollars from our people living there . They have branches overseas when most villages here are yearning for God's visitation. They ride on jets and expensive SUVs with high convoy and body guards. I wonder what a man of God is doing with a bodyguard when he had God as his protector. Whenever death comes knocking, no amount of bodyguard wouid see it. There was a day I slept after a short vigil. The Lord visited me and opened my eyes to see my church. He said, can you see how much these people are and I said yes. He said just look, only 3 people are fit for heaven. The capacity of the church I attend is a bit over 2,000. Out of 15 men of God in that gathering, only one was pointed to, as a qualified one. When I woke up, I was sober. I was praying. I told one of the pastors and he screamed. He asked me, if I saw him and I said I didn't cos the revelation was so clear. The kingdom of God was the theme of the sermon the next Sunday . The man was the one who preached and was weeping. When Jesus asked if He'd find faith on earth when he comes back, He knew what he meant cos He knew the end from the beginning. Shalom! 1 Like |

senatordave1:I see. My comment is careless because it doesnt serve you and your master rightly, its normal. Dear Mr careful, the below are the facts, which you blind supporters of this evil regime have failed to understand about Niger Republic. Google is your friend, check before you come back to spew anything. 1- Most of the cooking gas we consume in Niger had always been supplied by Niger. They stopped doing that the moment the ecowas applied those sanctions. Suddenly, the cost of cooking gas rose sharply nationwide as a result of this. Niger is the largest exporters of onions, vegetables, beans and cows. In fact, most of the cows we eat don't come from the north but from Niger. Check it. Let your leaders continue to live in denials and be deceiving you. They'd soon openly beg Niger. E never start. If you were logical enough you'd have asked yourself, despite all the sanctions, why is Niger not protesting over hunger and starvation as we do in Nigeria today? 1 Like |

The moment they stopped supplying us, the price of gas went up. Please confirm whatever I tell you. Google is your friend. The cow we eat come from them,.likewise vegetables. Hiw can you have plenty food and be hungry. Despite all the sanctions, did you see them cry gor hunger? I mentioned BBC and cnn because thise are the ones who can tell us the real story, not our government who always lie to us |

senatordave1:How many times have you seen them on cnn or BBC crying for food like Nigerians are doing? Dead country but they broke away from ecowas, damning the consequences. If truly they're dead as you claimed, they should have been the one begging ecowas to take them back and not the other way round. Think about it logically. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Foreign Affairs / Re: ECOWAS Engages Third-party Mediators To Reintegrate Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso by Eriokanmi: 10:33pm On Mar 09 |
Nbote:It's necessary. Its called diplomacy. They can't come out openly to beg them. Niger border closure is the reason hunger is hitting us so hard in Nigeria today and high cost of cooking gas because they supply Nigeria the largest percentage of our cooking gas needs but they won't tell you this. Most of the food we eat .including the vegetables like tomatoes, tatashe, even protein like cows ,goats are transported from Niger. Other west African countries like Ghana and Togo are also feeling the heat but only on vegetables. Niger supplies the largest percentage of Africa's onion needs.. These are the facts they'd never tell Nigerians. They claim Nigerians are smuggling foodstuffs to Niger and their supporters fell for their propaganda. Where's the food coming from? When boko haram had sent farmers away from their farmlands? Trust these people at your own risk. Same people imported rice and formed a pyramid with it in Abuja, rebagged it and called it Nigeria rice. Amosun did his own too when in office in ogun state and shocked the innermost part with sand. Anyone seeing it would think its a full rice pyramid. By the time they removed just one layer of the rice pyramid their yamsh come open. The rest were bags of sand. We need Niger more than they need us. Most of the cow we eat come from as far as Mauritania down to Burkina Faso and then Niger before entering Nigeria. These countries should be the one crying over hunger as seen in Nigeria today due to sanctions and not Nigeria Tinubu really managed the ecowas crisis poorly. I doubt he saw the Nigeria food crisis coming. The jaujau president. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Nigeria's economy has been so battered and no thanks to our successive bad leaders. Don't worry, they'd all meet their waterloo. US, Canada, even Germany are a different world. You have to think twice once you're there about returning home and that's why many of our youths seek asylum with a TRV . It's really terrible. Those of us here can't employ everyone. It was a hard decision for me to return home after my studies. I took a great risk but its worth it. Drella:Nothing is too late guy. Do not put yourself under any undue pressure. Finish your studies first and stay focused. Those you think are doing legit business today could be into fraudulent stuffs or yahoo plus I had a cousin schooling at OAU some years back. There were these guys on campus who rode expensive cars and living large. There was his hostel mate off campus who was being pressured by one of the guys to date him . Reluctantly, she accepted but with utmost caution. She already knew who they were...information flows faster than you may think at times. A long story cut short, the guy asked her to come over and spend a time with him. before she left the house, she had worn a female condom. When the guy even pulled out his thing without any attempt to wear a latex, she knew something was cooking. When the guy was done, the girl too zipped up and suddenly he said he just remembered he had an engagement somewhere so, he would not be able to stay with her as planned. She simply smiled and said, ok and they both parted. As soon as the girl got home, she removed the female condom and guess what, 2 maggots were seen, swimming inside semen. She was shocked and quickly called the attention of her friends. They took the picture and kept. She also told her male hostel mate about it. It was him who now told me during his visit to my place. 2 Days later the guy barged into her room angrily saying, you think you are smart right? I will kill you in this town, I will deal with you. He now left. About a week later, the girl left the school and ran home. She could not finish her studies. So, do not succumb to peer pressures. Trust in God who made you and stay focused. I always use my life as a case study. I really suffered in my undergraduate years but after I graduated, things took a great turn and till today, God has never stopped being kind to me. |
