Anamachi3: When ever I think about this,it baffles me how women are treated in our society. If a woman gives birth to children and eventually the children becomes well-to-do and responsible in the society, Her husband takes the glory and the husband will refer the children as my child. But when the child becomes rebellious ,the child now belongs to the woman. The husband will always say in a derogatory word-Woman see your children and how they behave. That is how my aunt who is nw late and the children, though some did misbehaved, Her husband till today shift d blame to my aunt and will often when asked about his children will respond- These are stubborn kids from that woman(My late aunt) it pains me to hear that. I often ask my self this- so when a child misbehaves and is not responsible, why should the woman take the blame?

donTbone: Not that easy!... fornication and adultery, I see no difference. Now I make my comments...
1. AGREE IT IS WRONG. Some pastors adultrate...is it that they don't know its wrong?
4. THINK OF THE CONSEQUENCES. Those men sure knows the consequence, yet they still do it!
5. PRAY. I expect this should av been the number one point. Through it alone can one be saved
6. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! This will only solve the situation only if you can run pass Usain Bolt
Nice write up though! . |

Nairaland General › Re: L'm A Proud Ekiti Man, Says Faseun by ernesty20(m): 10:36am On Oct 12, 2015 |
IROHINOodua: “OPC founder reveals roots, says parents were from Ado-Ekiti” By Martins Adeleke and Yomi Ogunsona Founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC), Dr Fredrick Faseun has revealed to Irohinodua his roots. He said though he is now technically from Ondo state, but that his parents were actually of the royal stock in Ekiti State. The OPC founder, a medical practitioner spoke to Irohinoodua exclusively in his Lagos office that the major agenda of the OPC which he says is to defend the Yoruba people remains the kernel principle of the 30 year old group. Speaking to our correspondents, Faseun said “ My great-grandfather was an Ekiti prince. He was asked to come and ascend the royal throne; and I think he didn’t like it and he ran away.” He said this event occurred in Ado-Ekiti, where his father hailed from, about a century ago and that since the incidence; his family has remained in Ondo, their new home. “We were actually from Ado-Ekiti. That is our root, of the royal blood. My grand father was a Prince. He was asked to be the Oba, but he didn’t like it, so he left Ado for Ondo town,” the OPC founder told Irohinoodua in the interview. Perhaps, this may have informed the confernment of a chieftaincy tittle on Dr Faseun by the traditional ruler of Iloro-Ekiti, in Ijero Local Government area some ten years ago. Faseun, along with other Yoruba faithful established the OPC in 1995 in the heat of the campaign against the annulment of the June 1993 Presidential election won by the late business icon, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola. Most of the over 20 self determination groups currently in Yorubaland are offshoots of the OPC, though the first self-determination group in the South West is the Oodua Youth Movement, (OYM) established in 1994 and led by the late Comrade Abiodun Kolawole. Kolawole was the former Secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANs). He however died along with his wife on Christmas eve at Ayetoro Ekiti in 2013 k |
